My daughter has attended Xplor of Parkwood Hill since January 2013 when we moved to the area and we've never regretted the choice. The teachers know all the kids by name and freely greet them whenever they see them, even if the teacher is from a class way above where your child is. The admin staff have always been helpful with information/questions, and greet every parent that walks through the door. If you invite some of the teachers to birthday parties, they come. I've never seen a child shy away from a teacher here. In fact, it's the opposite. The kids RUN to the teachers for a hug. The school teaches conscious discipline, which is about using words to express anger, hurt, etc. no kiddo is belittled, degraded or made to feel invalidated. The outside activities are a good mix (Zumba, Kindermusik, (small) animal handlers, dentists, policemen, etc. Every week has a theme (where does thunder come from? What makes popcorn pop? Why do bubble float?) and corresponding activities. If your son/daughter is in school, they have small bus-vans that drop off in the mornings and pick up in the afternoons. The drivers (who are teachers) TRIPLE check those who get on and off the bus. Then they check every seat to make sure everyone is off when the time comes.Whenever there's been an incident at school (twice in 3 years for us), we've received a written report and talked with the teacher about what happened. We've never felt anything but safe in having our daughter attend here. We unfortunately moved into an adjacent school district that is too far for drop off and pick up, but we will for sure be back for breaks and summers.

We switched here from Kiddie Academy in Alliance because we recently moved. Kiddie Academy was amazing, and if you can take your child over there instead please do. It's the same cost and you get so much more over there. My son came to Xplor years ago, and he loved it so I thought my daughter would do great. We started in the 3 year old classroom and loved the teachers, but they all left around January. The first issue is the 3 year old restroom situation. They only have one restroom, and it's really really dirty. The door is open all day so you will walk in and literally see kids with their pants completely down, and no one helping them. Kiddie Academy had individual small stalls for the kids and they helped the kids use the restroom. I picked my daughter up twice and she had been in wet clothes for a while. There were several times at drop off or pick up that the room was FULL and only one teacher. At Kiddie Academy there was always two teachers. She was then moved to the school age kids when she turned 4. The classroom was full of older kids so she had a really difficult time adjusting. I know at Kiddie Academy they switched them according to their actual grade in school. Not just mid school year on their birthday. I asked them if we could keep her where she was comfortable a little longer and they said the class was full and was basically impossible. For about a month at drop off and pick up our daughter would say she was scared and didn't want to go. We thought it was just due to the drastic change in teachers and grade. Today I picked her up and she was bawling saying the teacher was mean to her. I couldn't get her to calm down so I went in to speak to the front desk about unenrolling and to tell her about how upset she was. The front desk person is really unapproachable. I think she's the director. Essentially she offered to put her back in the old classroom even though they're full, but told me she would eventually have to move anyway. She never asked the teacher what happened. Didn't ask if I wanted to review footage or speak with the principal. So I just decided to unenroll. We're going to just make the drive to kiddie Academy. I gave the facility 3 stars because of the few teachers that did stay. Those teachers deserve 5 stars, and I really hope administration is compensating them.

This place has been absolutely wonderful for both of my kids for the over one year they have been there. Their teachers know them very well, its a large open environment with plenty of room to play, and there are multiple playgrounds plus an indoor playroom for bad weather days. A major improvement over our previous and slightly higher priced center.

My child was repeatedly choked, I mean bruises around his neck that wouldn't go away for a week, three times by a special needs kid. They never informed me about the first or second incident. I had to throw a fit in order for them to do anything and had to call CPS to get them to even tell the parents of the kid doing the choking that they needed him to stop. After the 3rd incident, they took my kid out of the kinder class and put him in general population with the big kids, I mean 12/13 year olds that are now abusing him. Because I threw such a fit about the choking now I get continual letters telling me my child "fell" or someone accidentally hit him. I wouldn't leave a dog at this place. Stay away if you value your children! They also constantly screwed up my account and changed how much we were supposed to pay so while we paid them constantly, somehow we always owed them money. I started keeping track of what we were supposed to pay and what they were asking for and the amount changed no less than 3 times in 3 weeks and by my calculations we had a credit, they showed we still owed them money, again. Save yourself the headache and leave your kids to be babysat by wolves.

We love XPLOR. They have taken excellent care of our boys from Haslet to Keller. They were flexible and easy to work with and they understood my chaotic schedule. Most importantly, even though I had a child that was very difficult at drop off times, they loved him and cared for him and did their best to comfort him. He was always playing and happy when I came back to pick him up. I do not trust just anyone with my kids. XPLOR gave me piece of mind and I knew my boys were receiving the best possible care.
