We have heard from no less than a dozen friends and acquaintances about trying the Chinese here. I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to good Chinese food. So we tried this one weekend night and waited for only about 30 minutes only because we took a seat at the bar.We started with their dumplings and the spicy wontons with both were absolutely amazing . You can taste the freshness and quality of ingredients. I ordered my usual orange chicken. I was a little disappointed when I was told that fried rice was an entire entrée. So I had to stick with white rice for my dinner. The food didn't take terribly too long about 25 minutes, but it's a packed house . They have room for a lot of people with a ton of tables there. The orange chicken was absolutely out of this world good. The outside was very crispy. It tasted really good. A lot of flavors and the chicken was scrumptious. We will definitely be back again and all that to say it wasn't expensive either

Wasn't my first time there, won't be my last. I enjoy the green beans, pork ear, intestine platter, the chili wontons, and cucumbers a lot. The soup dumplings are always a hit as well. Customer service is pretty great too. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Food 2.5/5Service 3.5/5We got seated quickly for someone Saturday lunch. The service was friendly enough and refilled our waters. The Food itself was fairly mid overall. Our favorite was the pan fried dumplings.I got the garlic broth with beef and tendon noodle soup. The flavor was off for me with a more vinegar flavor than hearty feeling. My friend's dan dan was very peanut buttery... I prefer a milder version than what we had. The stewed combo was alright as an appetizer. I was the sauce was more evenly spread out.Overall, I prefer the plano location more.

The restaurant was super busy when we went but they were able to get us sat quickly. Our server was quick to get our food order in and it came out fairly quickly. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend!

A friend of mine was raving about Wu Wei Den and as a lover of Chinese food (especially traditional), I was eager to dine here. Our group of 5 arrived around 9pm on a Sunday and there was a wait of about 30 mins and the place was packed! I knew them we were in for a treat. We made our way to the bar, had a few drinks and were sat at a high top in about 20 mins. Everyone was friendly and service was super fast! My group ordered a little of everything; too much to list honestly so I'll let the pics and video do the talking. Everything was flavorful, fresh and plentiful! I don't live close to Lewisville but this place is definitely worth the drive!

I had went a few days prior with some friends, which I very much enjoyed, but this time, I came with a friend who doesn't eat pork. Since we always share our food, it made ordering tricky because there aren't many non-pork options on the menu. All of the options were nothing special or unique about it. Since we were very limited, it took us a while to decide, but the food came out quickly once we ordered. All the best things have pork in it, so she wasn't able to have that great experience. The beef lo mein was decent--nothing extraordinary. I love traditional Taiwanese beef noodle soup, but the version here felt a little unbalanced in flavor. That said, the meat was tender and enjoyable. The steamed dumplings, unfortunately, were pretty mediocre. I wish my friend could've tried the pork-based dishes, as they're likely the highlights of the menu. The ambiance is casual and family-oriented--there were lots of families dining when we went, which gave it a lively, welcoming vibe. Service was very straightforward-no warmth or personality, just efficient and to the point.Overall, Wu Wei Din was okay. I think if I ever go again, I'd rather just get it to go. It's worth trying, but it might not live up to the TikTok hype, especially if you're avoiding pork-based dishes.

Food - I honestly wish there was a Wu Wei closer to Cedar Hill / Desoto because the dumplings and menu selection here are fantastic. The classic/American Chinese plates such as orange chicken are excellent. After multiple visits, I can now say Wu Wei is great in food quality and taste. A++++Service - This is why this is 4/5 and not 5/5. Service can be hit or miss. You may get a waitress who is attentive or you may get a waiter who, after taking your order, just neglects or forgets about you. I've seen others in the restaurant before have to flag down a waiter and I myself have patiently waited to put in a second order sometimes or to just ask for a water refill. Upon multiple visits, this seems to be an individual problem but I wouldn't knock this place just because of one person. The overall experience is still pleasant. Ambiance - Restaurant is adequately sized and has good spacing between other customers. The waiting area is tiny though and this place gets PACKED. Bathrooms and establishment are very clean. Well worth the try.

I heard really good reviews about this restaurant so I wanted to give it a try. However, I have to say I have had better. The fried rice lacked flavor and the chicken thighs wasn't evenly seasoned so all I tasted was batter. The beef noodle was definitely a different broth than what I had at other places. It wasn't bad but not what I was expecting. Appetizer and xiao long bao was good. Service was fast and great.

I've been meaning to post about this place for a while, but their orange chicken is always a hit for me. I've noticed as the days have been getting colder I've been coming back for more soup dumplings and wontons for a spicy/comfort snack. My husband is always a fan of their ample fried rice options and has been working through the menu to find his favorite. The only miss for me here is the drinks. I haven't landed on one that I can truly recommend, but their food keeps me coming back.

This was my best Chinese restaurant I went so far in North Texas. This restaurant is Taiwanese style. If you are looking for authentic Taiwanese cuisine, this is the inside is huge. Food drink service. This place was packed with so many people also waiting to get inside. The menu has so many varieties I saw Singaporean food as well. I never really experienced true Taiwanese cuisine so my friend who is from Taiwan went there for his birthday and he ordered it for us. We had house fried rice, Taiwanese stirfry rice noodles, shrimp and cabbage soup dumplings, rice flour pancakes soup and another dumplings. This place is great for family and large groups. The food portion is very big. Price is very reasonable or cheap I was very happy. The waitress was constantly watching us to make sure we are doing OK. It was great experience and so many people are there. This restaurant looks like it's been established for a long time and I see so many people. That mean is good.
