Woody's Tavern

Cheap beer !! We went on a Saturday at 6:15. Our tab had 4 dos & 3 shiner and it was $26! We enjoyed watching football on all the tv's and some amazing chips and salsa.

Dan and I use to occasionally stop in here when we were much younger. How time has changed us. It wasn't our scene, any more. I think it was us and not the Tavern that changed.

Why not put two bars back to back? If you don't like one, you can always like the other!I've been going to Woody's for years, and have always enjoyed it. The bartenders are hit and miss, but the beer is always cold.It's a very laid back environment, the prices are right, and had a fairly decent after work happy hour!4 STARS

What freaking a**holes! Husband and I walked in and sat at a table right behind the bar. Every seat at the bar was full and a table beside it. That's it, no other people in this trashy dive. Several of the people at the bar were "sloppy/side walking" drunk at 5:45!!So hey... any FWPD in the area wanting to keep drunks off the road, this is your place!We waited TWENTY minutes. None of the 3 bartenders behind the bar, or the 1 waitress even looked at us. We're just a regular Texas couple that have lived in Ft Worth forever and have never been treated so horrible at any establishment and want to make sure anyone looking to try it out, TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Great place to watch the Steelers play. Enthusiastic fans abound. Loud, but good views. Food is minimal and so-so. Drinks are good and waitstaff attentive.

"Regulars" received service while our party of 5 did not. This was true when we were sitting at a table and when we were playing pool. This bar has great potential, but we literally felt invisible. It would be nice if the bathroom entrance had a door.

Enjoyed the ambiance, great to watch football - even though it was the Steelers. The food was a little pricey for overcooked sandwich. Service was moderate, however, forgiven because it was a packed bar of football fans.

Cerina is the best! We came to woodys for a chill night and she absolutely took care of us. Attentive but not annoying. Very sweet. Made sure she got our complicated orders correct. Can't wait to see her again. Will come again soon

Service and ambience are great. Cheap drinks, Cris and Taylor are attentive and also entertaining. Overall, 10/10. Been in hospitality for 10+ years, know a good spot when I see it. Learned about this bar being a staple to Fort Worth. Good history, quality time spent.

We were encouraged to meet here by a "regular" who has been going there for years. The environment is terrific with pool tables, darts and plenty of seating. BUT, the bathrooms aren't clearly marked. I walked into the ladies just by luck, but quickly backed out and looked all around the door frames (no doors) for any clue if I was in the right bathroom. I assumed it was unisex until I left and was able to see a "Ladies" halogen light above the first entrance.Unfortunatley, my husband made the same mistake. He walked to the same area as I did earlier, not knowing the men's restroom was on the other side of the bar and ended up accidently walking into the ladies restroom. He was quickly confronted by the bouncer and told he needed to leave the bar. The bouncer was polite enough and thankfully didn't assert his size, which he easily could have done. We left without incident of course, but the sting of getting kicked out was pretty harsh. We're not "gypsies" or from out-of-state. We're just a boring middle-aged couple who apparently can't read halogen signs.***The bar needs to make the restroom signs WAY more clear and not be quite to quick to kick people out over an honest mistake.***
