Hoof and Souls has helped me rescue, quarantine, transport and home 100+ horses, minis, donkeys, mules, BLM burros & Mustangs since 2018 and they are the very best. I highly recommend them for their expertise, experience, wealth of knowledge, professionalism, safety record and compassion.

One star is too much. I had 2 horses in quarantine with Them and trailering. She showed up with one of the wrong horses and tried passing off a dark bay for my black and white paint ( they showed up at 10:30 at night) and the other horse could barely stand up. Had the vet come out in the morning and said she was too sick and wouldn't make it. She had plural pneumonia and shipping fever, She had to be put down the next day. DO NOT BOARD OR QUARANTINE YOUR HORSES THERE.

I pulled 2 horses from a kill pen over in Texas and used them for quarantine and transport because they had been recommended to me. These people are complete and total scammers, they take your money and pocket it (while you're assuming your money is going towards feed or vet bills for your horse) and in the meantime allow your horses to die, fall extremely ill, or starve to death. I was told both my horses had died (one from pneumonia and one from strangles) within days of each other. I asked for proof of death and she never sent me anything. I'm assuming she turned around and sold my horses and pocketed the money, which is why I didn't get photos but yet was still sending them money for vet care and feed as well as boarding. I never received my horses and I filed them both as missing and stolen.

It is what it is. A ranch it has flys it has dogs it has . It also has beautiful horses 2 great people running the place and horse rescue and really real with the lessons!! I found it well worth the drive.

Wow! What an amazing experience! We just moved here from Phoenix & WRA showed my "city girls" the best time ever. I loved the enclosed arena with soft ground while they learned the basics. & I didn't have to worry about a "runaway horse". Then they let them go out into the outdoor ring. When they felt they were ready, they got to ride in the open pasture. This family run environment is like no other!!! So helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. They really catered to our needs, bent over backwards to make my kids happy, gave a customized experience & provided excellent service. Everything I was looking for & more! Sonja Williams

Please don't use this business. Research the horror stories on Facebook. There is a whole page dedicated to her scamming and abuse of people and their animals.She took our money to quarantine 3 mini donkeys and a mule. They said they were sick. We sent $2,000 for meds. We were told everyone was out of the woods. Happy and chubby I think were her words. There were never pictures even though we repeatedly asked. She went on vacation and the day she comes back says one donkey needed to be euthanized. We asked for pictures. It took a day to get only a head shot of the donkey and another day to get a body shot. We moved our animals as fast as we could. The rest looked better at the kill pen then being on her care for a month. I wish i had checked a little deeper into her business. I recently rescued a weanlings and a pregnant donkey from a kill pen. Melanie picked them up and put them in quarantine as they were both sick. She nursed them back to health and fattened them up! She also did their transport and I can't thank her enough! She is more then professional as she has the biggest heart for such a hard and trying job! I would not recommend or use anyone but Melanie Witherspoon for my rescues! More then 5 stars all day!

Was looking for a place to give lessons on riding a horse. Found one near me here in Terrell! Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The owners very friendly and knowledgeable about riding! Is also a rescue for horses! How awesome is that! Will go back soon for another lesson!
