They were our featured pop-up shop today, and I hope they come back!I tried the trio bowl, with a mix of both sauces, and plantain chips! Amazing flavors, the sauce is great and really adds to the flavor of the fish. I will be back when they're in the office again!

Our apartment complex was doing "Food Truck Friday" and I had my mom go down to the truck to get me some tacos because I was taking care of my newborn. She got back and when I tell you they were AMAZING, I mean it! I had to go back down myself and get more. Their homemade sauce was DELICIOUS!!!

I've dined on goods from What Cook-N Chef two times now, and both times I've opted for the street tacos. It's hard for me to step outside of the box sometimes, especially when you've got whack food-allergies. Let me enlighten you on these Churrasco Street Tacos. The tortillas are fresh and not bland, the meat (I've tried both chicken and beef skirt) is seasoned generously and just right, the shredded lettuce is bright and crunchy, and they definitely don't skimp on the cheese! Plus there's a fantastic "keymayo" sauce mixed in; a tangy citrus delight that isn't overpowering but definitely takes these tacos to another level. If you're one of those folks who hates mayonnaise, that's fine, but try not to dismiss everything it's ever in. It's an awesome base for creative accoutrements like Whats Cook-N Chef's keymayo, and I think you'll love it!That sauce is good for more than just tacos, it makes the perfect dip for the homemade fried plantain chips you'll want to order at this food truck. These little wafers of joy are sweet, salty, crispy, and delightfully warm. Ahhh. Dunk them in that cool keymayo and you've got an unbeatable pairing of flavors! I've had the opportunity to meet the head chef of Whats Cook-N Chef, Javier, and he's excited about his business and dedicated to serving authentic Latin cuisine that'll impress your palate. Right now, there are only two items on the menu (besides fried plantains and chips): the Churrasco Street Tacos and Churrasco Sandwiches. Whats Cook-N Chef is keeping it simple, genuine, and absolutely delicious! Keep an eye on their website to see what location they're at, and go try it out ASAP.

Tried these guys out when they were serving lunch at my office building and was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered a chicken bowl and was very happy with it. It was fresh and well seasoned, and definitely filling enough to get me through the afternoon without feeling too heavy. The sauce was fresh, sweet and tangy and paired perfectly with their homemade plantain chips. I'll definitely be back for more!

If you're a vegetarian, this review is for you. They have really two vegetarian options: the Vegetable Bowl or a side of Beans and Rice. I don't expect that much more be offered, but when what is offered isn't much more than a "canned" meal, I do get in a bit of a huff. The veggie bowl is just plain white rice with canned (heated) black beans, then completely covered in chopped iceberg lettuce and some sliced tomatoes. Oh, and then their "keymayo" is slathered all over it (it's like a remoulade). At $7, it's just mediocre. So much more could be done with a vegetarian option without costing much, if any more. Spinach, for example, instead of bland, watery iceberg lettuce. Or even just stewing your own beans and perhaps create some seasoned rice. Heck, even just having more beans and less rice (it was mostly rice and iceberg) would help. Or, offer some grilled veggies?Their chips are very tasty. The sauce is good, but I do think it's strange to foist upon everyone a sample of the sauce because "we put it on everything". I know I can say, "no sauce please." But it seems to me a crutch. Yet, that's me, being a vegetarian and expecting a bit more. I've definitely had better.

We had the pleasure of trying this food truck at Turning Point Beer last night. I had the steak tacos with the spicy sauce and they were the perfect amount of savory and heat! Friends got the steak bowl and steak sandwich. They definitely did not skimp on the meat! We also went through two orders of plantain chips which were very reasonably priced. Don't miss out if this truck comes by
