Best sandwich shop in the country - bar none! We lived in McKinney, Tx for 10 years and now every time we fly back (5 min. from DFW) for a visit we have to get our Weinberger's fix (the Ludo is my favorite; dragon's breath is my wife's). Just was back last week - took 4 colleagues (1 from Maine, 1 from Missouri & 2 from Minnesota) and they all said best sandwiches they ever had!! Now it is time to pine for the next time!

Finally made it to Weinberger's Deli, and it did not disappoint! With a menu that seems to go on forever, offering everything from classic subs to unique creations, it's definitely a spot that demands multiple visits. We split the Bourdain, a hot sub loaded with grilled mortadella, bacon, lemon mayo mustard, Swiss cheese, giardiniera peppers, and more, all packed into a garlic-toasted sesame hoagie. The flavors worked well together, with the giardiniera adding a nice tangy kick. Will definitely ask for extra giardiniera on my next sandwich of choose if it callas for it. For sides, we had the mustard potato salad, which was solid and flavorful, and the jalapeño coleslaw, which was just ok for me, not as spicy as I expected. This location adds to the charm of downtown Grapevine , making it a great stop while exploring the area. With so many sandwiches to choose from, I'm already looking forward to coming back to try something new.

Wise men say, only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love with Weinberger's deli. It's a surreal moment when you find a special place like this. It's almost like meeting an old friend you haven't met yet. We tried the Bourdain, jaybird, and ciabatta bomb. I recommend going with friends so you can try more than one. Bourdain and Jaybird opened up our concert of taste with a symphony of flavor. The peppers on the Bourdain played all of the right notes of texture and spice. The jaybird felt like a classic Italian sub with a pepper jam that introduced itself and became a friend. Lastly, the ciabatta bomb. The only bomb that shouldn't be diffused. The kind of bomb you'd welcome into an airport. This might be the best sandwich I've had so far. Definitely my favorite thing I've eaten this year. I will make the 40 minute trek to come back in the near future.Unfortunately, I was only able to try 3 sandwiches this time. As of today, I will no longer support chain sandwich shops. Big sandwich joins big pharma as an industry that needs to be better by looking at their peers. As always, support small business!

After all the talk about the place, I finally managed to visit the deli. The options are very wide-ranging, presenting any type of sandwich you could think of, grilled, chilled, dunked, submarine sandwiches, plus other items. We chose the Bourdain, one of their "super sandwiches." It was full of grilled mortadella, bacon, lemon mayo mustard, Swiss, giardiniera, and other ingredients on a garlic-toasted sesame hoagie. It was okay with me, but I still enjoyed my lunch. The sides? Mustard potato salad and jalapeño coleslaw both notably good picks. Service was straight forward and the ambiance was your very typical deli. A counter to order and pay and the rest of the space is just chairs and tables. I'm definitely thrilled to experiment with something quite different in my future visit.

Every sandwich I have tried here has been great so far! There are enough sandwiches on the menu to try a different one every day in a month. The dragon's breath is a nice twist to a Cuban. You can get delivery with uber eats if you are feeling lazy or don't want to wait in line.

I lived in Saint Louis for a couple of years and there were so many deli places that were so good, so I have been trying to find one in the DFW area. Weinberger's looked very promising whenever I was looking at photos. There were so many choices that it was definitely hard to pick which one I wanted to try, The sandwiches was STUFFED with lots of meat and sauce. However, it still not as good as flavoring as when I was in Saint Louis. I would have to come back and try other deli that they offer. Still a great place to go to!

Wow! This menu has the most amount of sandwiches I've ever seen! Living in St. Louis for 8 years gave me a very high standard for delis, but this place definitely lives up to that standard. I tried the Joe King first and it was delicious! Loaded with a generous amount of pastrami. I thought the coleslaw was just a bit too sweet but otherwise an amazing sandwich. The mustard potato salad is incredible! I finished it and wanted another one!I've also tried the Dagwood which was also really flavorful. Can't wait to try more things on the menu!

The Italian beef dipped with mild peppers was a delicious way to warm up on a cold day. The au jus was perfectly seasoned, and the melted provolone cheese was toothsome. The Joe King pastrami would give any NYC deli a run for its money. Macaroni salad and mustard potato salad were the classic you think of with any church social. We dined in on a late afternoon Monday, so there was no line. Our food was out quick as lightening. Dining area is tiny with 10 spotless tables. Totally worth our detour heading home from the airport.

This gal loves a sandwich, and finding a real deli? It's like hitting the jackpot! We probably shouldn't have gone on a Saturday--lesson learned--because the line was out the door by a good 10 feet. We waited around 40 minutes just to order, but once we did, our sandwiches were out in about five minutes. Not bad for a place packed with sandwich devotees. With around 70 sandwiches on the menu, this spot is basically a bucket-list deli. We started with the Italian Beef with sausage (name slips my mind, but it's a classic), and wow, was it authentic. The chewy sausage paired with the tender beef was a texture combo dream. If I had one wish, it'd be for a bit more flavor in the au jus, but no complaints from my husband, who literally drank whatever was left over. And shout-out to the workers--fast and friendly, even in the chaos. I'll be back (on a weekday) because someday - maybe - every single sandwich on that menu will be mine!

Weinberger was on top of my list after my coworker told me how great it is. My husband and I stopped by around noon on a Sunday. The line was decently long however the service is quick and easy. There are a variety of sandwich options to choose from. By the time we got to the front of the line we changed our order 20 times. We ended up getting the Lustig and the Avery to go. The portion sizes are huge! Enough to save some as a left over. Each sandwich came with a bag of chips and a pickle. There is limited seating but again people were in and out of the restaurant pretty quickly. My husband also ordered a pb and j which looked delicious. We will have to come back and try more options.
