My best experience at the Weatherford Farmers Market is the supply some the freshest seasonal fruit and vegetables. The local honey and COFFEE representation is some of the best I have ever tasted. There are several vendors represented presenting some of the most freshest hand made (canned) produce . The friendliest and most pleasant staff are always willing to serve the public. There is also an array of floral arrangements in which you can select for creating your own custom arrangement. This is an outdoor covered and air conditioned market.

Pretty cool place. Very cathartic, maybe due to the location. I came searching for fresh ingredients. In particular honey and eggs. I've never been in this side of town before. So I didn't knew what to expect. The market is divided between two to three structures in which vendors are separated. You can fine gorgeous plants, herbs, veggies but also nice outdoor ornaments, vegetables, can items, preserves and much more. I came searching for fresh eggs and left spending almost $100 worth of items lol. I mean in my defense I love to cook tho! Unfortunately I'm not sure if my drive was all worth it. Someone recommended me this place. And told I will definitely find fresh eggs. Mmmm debatable! I cracked one at home and without even cooking I was disappointed. If you had a fresh organic egg know that there's a huge difference from a store bought. Not just by the taste but also the texture and color in it's raw form. This one's had a very pale yolk and tasteless. For eggs clearly not the place for me.

Been coming here since 1960s. Lived in Ft Worth and my mother would make it a great outing. Actual farmers would back their pickups in with real home grown fruits and vegetables. The smell of fresh peaches and tomatoes wafting in the air. Real tomatoes not those tasteless, odorless, nasty ones they strip mine in places you never heard of. And fresh watermelons and cantaloupe to die for. We would take home sacks of fresh okra, green beans, corn and more. For the next week we knew it was going to be good eating. I live nearby in Willow Park and last few times I've stopped here have been quite disappointed. Not much left of what made market famous. Mostly prepackaged and jarred items. Much of the little produce there is same as sold at Albertsons across the street. No men in overalls showing pride and giving tastes of the fruit of their labor. And the intersection is dangerously busy. Lots of drivers disregarding stop lights and speeding through downtown. Not best place for parents to try and go shopping with kids in tow. I hope they can revitalize the historic market and maybe everyone can again experience the unique, fun, tasty outings again.

The local honey is great and my daughter said it could help with my allergies. I didn't get to try everything but the fruit looked very fresh here.

The Farmers Market located across the street from Albertson's is large with two buildings. Since it was turning into fall on our visit, there was not much fresh fruits and veggies. One building was a pumpkin patch and the other building had more preservative. There is a small clothing and accessory store on site as well. The prices are pretty high for farmers markets.
