Indoor water slide
Hello, visiting from Louisian for a little getaway. Just looking to have a little fun in the water that isn't so pricey
Like Hurricane Harbor minus the long lines!
Enjoying the lazy river!
Great play area
Kid play area
This place sucks don't waste your time and the management is a bunch of kids that don't have the power to fix anything or any problems

The facilities are clean but if you want to swim laps, which I do, good luck! There are guys just hanging on one end of the lap pool holding on to the lane, not swimming and the life guards do nothing. All I want to do is swim. And I want it to be easy to do. Not have men hanging around doing nothing intimidating real customers. You do not get what you pay for! But what can you expect these days? Rules are made to be ignored. Management doesn't manage, rules ignored...bad service!

Worst place ever. A wave caught my sister and pulled her under. My daughter tried to pull her out and it was obvious she was having trouble. The life guards DID NOTHING!! There were 2 lifeguards RIGHT THERE AND THEY DID NOTHING until she screamed. I got to her same time as lifeguards. They shut the wave pool to get her out and that made a lot of customers angry!! Someone almost drowned!! What exactly ate the lifeguards for?? To pose? Get their tan? I will NEVER come to this place again

There is no better place to be on a hot summer day than waterworks! We have bought season passes the last two years and love it.There are numerous large water slides for bigger kids and adults. One is actually pretty scary! There is a huge play area for the little ones with plenty of lifeguards so that you feel it's OK to take your eye off for a minute. Then there is a really cool lazy river that my kids would spend the entire day in. Again there's plenty of lifeguards to make sure everybody's OK. They have plenty of tubes if you would like to ride in the lazy river. There are lots of tables and chairs to relax on. Usually by 1 o'clock it's pretty full so I would recommend going early to get a table. One of the best things about the waterpark is that you can bring your own food, just no glass. We always take our lunch and have a picnic. It is always super clean. Lifeguards are always really friendly. It's just a really great place to go!

Great place to visit on a hot summer day. It's a smaller park, but perfect for younger ones. Get there early to grab a table or chairs, bring a cooler with lunch and drinks, and make a day of it. The lines get long quickly before they even open, so you really have to show up early if you want to easily stake out a place. If you live in Denton and have younger ones, it's a great place to buy a season pass for so you can come as much as you want in the summer. There are 4 larger slides, a lazy river, and a kid play area. The Natatorium is also located here. Inside there is a smaller water slide, diving boards, and swimming lanes. They sell basic water things you may need to buy, a few items for lunch/snack, ice cream, and snow cones. There are also lockers to rent if you need one. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. Haven't had any problems here. It's nice for a small waterpark, and great that there is one in town.

I have spent more time in the pool in the last 3 weeks than I have in years and years and years. I see a trend emerging here!Last weekend, one of my grandchildren had his birthday parties at this water park. Great place. Good party. The park is a City-run facility. The birthday party package comes with pizza and cake, both cooked by local non-franchise businesses. The staff person who supervised our party was funny and friendly, qualities that aren't always present at other birthday-party-venues.The park has a long Lazy River as well as a large choice of adventure slides. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had a pretty large group of young children going down the water slide. The staff at the top of the slide did a great job signaling the staff person at the bottom when one of the children needed to be caught at the bottom before hitting the pool.

Unless you have kids all under 3, RENT somewhere to sit, and love walking on burning hot cement, this place wasn't the best. My 6 year old could only go down one slide, which had a 15-20 minute wait to go down it each time. My 11 year old loved the biggest slide but I had to stop him from going down it because he developed two HUGE purple welts and bruises on his shoulder blades from the slides tubes not lining up. Both the 11 and 6 year old felt too big for the playground and had no interest going in the "lazy river" which was more like way over crowded pee soup. I love how they provide no chairs or shade near the water unless you PAY for it! The only place to sit without charge is by the food shed. Of course you have to pass over the lava pit of scalding hot cement to get from one area to another. Just wear sandals you say, well they are not allowed to be worn on the slides, river, or water playground. Then to top it all off, the life guards are terrible. They barely pay attention and make the lines for the slide much longer by paying more attention to the gossip and pointing out the flaws in the paying customers. Not to mention one of the lifeguards did nothing when they saw my 2 year old drowning a few feet in front of her. I needed a towel to wipe off water on my face 20 feet from the water playground. My 11 year old was watching/playing with the 2 year old as I was getting the towel. As they did many times, my 11 year old followed the 2 year old to the small slide on the playground. They only allow kids to go down one at a time but the 11 year old always quickly followed the 2 year old down. This time down though the 2 year old flipped forward face first into the water at the bottom of the slide. Myself and the life guard saw this. My 11 year was closest so I yelled to him to get the 2 year old quickly. The life guard told my 11 year old to stop and stay where he was but did nothing to help the drowning child in front of her. (About 20 seconds has passed since my 2 year old went down the slide) I had to run past the life guard to grab my child out from the water. He took in some water and puked afterwards. After making sure my son was safe, I asked to speak to a manager. The manager showed no emotion. Had no idea what the lifeguards name was and didn't care that the life guard watched a child drowning and did nothing to help him when I know she saw him go under and was 10 feet closer to him than I was. My poor 11 year old was in tears because he was watching him and the lifeguard told him he couldn't go down the slide to get him. And he could have gone down safely to get him. Needless to say, I will not return or recommend this water park to anyone.

Me and my 2 1/2 year old went there twice this summer and we had a blast both times!! Its such a cheap option compared to a full blown water park since it's a smaller scale. But was perfect for us and will definitely go back every summer!

Should probably not say that you are open online and on signs in front when you are really closed due to "staffing"! drove all the way there to find out we couldn't go in.

They have a Wave Pool which means this much needed expansion is finally here. It is a huge disappointment. It took forever to build and they said it was supposed to be there last year but it was not. They messed up everybody's payments because I will tell you why later. And the wave pool made me feel sick. "Washed Ashore" many times and people bumping into each other. And both the other customers and the lifeguards are very rude now. I hear customers cussing. Is this what they think is "Family Oriented" They play terrible music all the time. I tried to ignore it because much of the place has no speakers. Everything is spaced out and no shade. You have to walk on hot cement with your sandals and hope nobody steals them. The slides say no shoes. Some people hold them so those are your two choices. The slides hurt your back so the best slides is the blue slide with yellow inner tubes. But Tubes piled everywhere you can easily trip over them. The lifeguards really do not take care of that mess. And speaking of mess, every body litters. I don't know why; There are plenty of garbage cans and recycle bins. Perhaps they need more. But I doubt anybody cares to use them. And neither do the lifeguards. Garbage everywhere. Food on the ground. Even a few roaches. Cold water in the showers and sinks but that is probably to keep burnt people from getting hurt. The entire locker room is often not in the best condition. Stains on toilet seats and I mean a lot of them, Toilet seats should be black or white; not smears of yellow. And the floor is always wet. For some reason the showers are on yet unused. The parking is free but you get what you pay for. Very little shade. Storage lockers cost extra. I don't know why you can't just reserve one online in advance and then have a digital combination lock they reset each time. And the cost to enter is very expensive. This includes every rate. Which went up because of the wave pool. This caused payment problems. They fixed them because they admitted that the wave pool took forever. BUT the wave pool caused yet another increase in the rates. I could go on and on and on and on. ...
