This place is ADORABLE! I came with some girlfriends for a pottery night and though there was a wait, we were called back in less than 30 minutes when a table opened up. Everyone here is so personable and helpful! There are also a ton of options of pottery pieces to paint, from dog bowls to wine glasses to mugs to decorative artwork. I painted a cloud plate with peaches on it. The entire process was very relaxing and therapeutic. There are also many different resources you can use for creating certain shapes or patterns. If you sign up for texts you can get 25% off your first piece! They told us we would get a call in 10 days to come pick up our items, which seems pretty long from now, but we are excited to see the final results. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning

Fabulous place to be creative for 1-2 hours and then leave! No set up, no clean up! Expert service and recommendations by the staff. My mom and I celebrate our birthdays here, we're 55 and 75

People love this kind of thing and I don't blame them. This kind of activity used to be big in the 1960s by where I grew up. It was much cheaper back then with a larger selection of greenware to paint and create. I didn't participate but, went with a friend who did. I visited with others painting and walked around the area while waiting. Several groups including families and birthday parties were happily involved in this cool endeavor and activity. the staff is super helpful with ideas and advice if needed or they can just let you do your own thing.I was surprised how much I liked hanging out here and you should at least check it out. They ask that you make an appt to assure a spot but walk-ins are Squoze in if possible.Definite ....Go!!!!

Super fun! Great experience. Lots of colors and ceramics to choose from. Plenty of space. Would be cool for girls night out.

Took my 7-year old daughter and her friend there for a fun Saturday afternoon. I had been here once before about 2 years ago and it was ok but this time, had a phenomenal experience. The employee there, a tall young girl, I think her name was Mauve, was so helpful and really patient. My daughter's friend Ellie made a mistake with her painting, and was a little upset. Mauve was so sweet in wiping the tears away, and helping Ellie fix her piece. She even got Ellie laughing by the end of our visit, and was a big hit with both the girls. You always hear about today's teens not knowing how to work hard or knowing customer service. They should meet this lovely young lady at this cute shop in McKinney. She was working hard while her co-worker was not, and Mauve was just so so nice. We'll be back!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE. They are unfriendly and will tell you 25min wait time JUST to make you stand and wait outside for 2 hours. never going back again; this is the SECOND time it's happen.

I stopped by this studio with my 3-year-old daughter and we loved it so much that we ended up painting for over 3 hours. The owner and people working there were so lovely and very helpful as they patiently worked with us to pick out pieces and compatible glazes. Since we were visiting from out of town, we opted to have our pieces shipped home. We had trouble with the post office and even though it wasn't Walls of Clay's fault, they ended up resolving everything for us. It was incredibly nice. Definitely visit this place if you have a chance!

While running errands with my boys, we decided to extend our trip out and look for something fun and new to do. I googled paint and pottery places and Walls Of Clay popped up. I called to make sure I could get a table for the three of us and advised we were approximately 30 min away. On the phone they were very pleasant and said they'd find a table for us no problem. When we arrived there was a table reserved just for us! Since we had never been, we felt a little intimidated walking in and seeing so many options. However, several of the girls working immediately put us to ease and walked us through every thing we wanted to try. My sons are 10 and 11 and chose to make a candle and glass fusion. I chose a candle as well. After we created these, we just had to choose MORE! It was so fun. So my eldest switched to glass fusion while waiting for his candle to cure and my youngest switched to painting pottery. I also chose a plate. It isn't "cheap" but in my opinion so worth it! The experience, time together, creating something personal to each of us, and the atmosphere along with so many options is definitely worth the cost. I can't wait to go back! I love that you are only limited by your own creations and imagination, even than, they help you with ideas. There is an entire walls of extra paint to choose from other than what is available on the table. There are also tons of paint brushes of every size and shape. As far as the pottery to choose from, well, it seemed endless. The price points are great in that you can find something to do for every single budget. I promise. Definitely worth it. A must visit. The girls helping were so sweet and helpful. One offered to write on my plate for me because I was nervous I'd screw it up. It ended up being a packed house but the girls remained attentive and helpful. Thanks so much for a last minute amazing outing with my boys making core memories!

This place is so much fun! Its good for practically all ages. It's a little pricey for some items, but decent prices for others. Surly you will find something you like. I have come twice now and really enjoyed each time. The employees are very helpful and friendly. There are several paint techniques you can use to customize your clay. The first time I did a bubble technique and the second time I did a splatter technique with a toothbrush. I have already eyed up what I'm going to paint next!

Me and my partner went to walls of clay for the first time today! We had so much fun and really enjoyed the new experience. Staff was very friendly and it was very accessible for first time guest!
