W XYZ Bar

W XYZ has a pretty good drink selection, fairly reasonable prices, and a top notch bartender. While it doesn't have a cocktail menu, the bartender knows how to make the staple cocktails perfectly. They have a pretty good selection of beers and of liquors (I presume wine, too, but I didn't check). While there are "bourbon bars" with a wider bourbon selection or "gin bars" with a wider gin selection, they have an above average selection of each, and they don't charge absurd up charges for choosing the liquor you like. The bartender is very polite. There's ample seating at the bar, and you can also take your drink to some loungy-er chairs in the nearby part of the hotel lobby.All in all, a solid bar.

I stopped by here killing time. I searched happy hour for bars and this popped up. I didnt realize it was inside of a hotel until I pulled up surprise! You walk in and the bar is to your right. It was about 6 and no one was at the bar. There was a group of guys discussing something over drinks in the lounge area but that was about it. The bartender came right up to my boyfriend and I. I told the bartender my boyfriend had never been to Texas so we tried out essentially every tap by sampling which was nice that he offered that up. After we tried each beer we decided on some options. The bartender went back to texting in the corner and we sat at the bar listening to the music playing in the open concept lobby/bar area We eventually took over the seating area that group was in because the couches looked more cozy than the bar. The happy hour advertised is not a thing anymore, they now have reverse happy hour from 9-10. The beers weren't too expensive as our tab was only $13 which I doable. The bartender disappeared from the bar for a fair amount of time which made me anxious because I used to be a bartender, I guess he trusted we wouldn't leave without paying. He didnt come check on us to see if we needed another beer but that was ok I guess. I went back up to the bar to cash out and that was that. This bar is good for a quick drink but I wouldn't probably go for a top notch bar experience.

Great cocktails and pool. Fast service and top shelf selection of hard to find bourbons, scotch, tequila and a variety of Texas spirits.

If your in Dallas, you need to come visit Nevine at the wxyz bar in the aloft hotel. Wonderful personality for the road weary warrior. Try the tater tots! But don't expect a cherry for the old fashioned.

This bar is located in the lobby of the Aloft hotel. It is a great option to have after a long day of work. They have plenty of couches and seats throughout the lobby plus a pool table. It is a nice open feel and the drinks are reasonably priced. Definitely a perk to staying at this hotel! Navine, the bartender, is very nice and is very helpful.

Ambiance is ok- it was very slow tho for a Saturday evening. We were only people in there. Drinks were good. Fireplace was nice. Overall, just your normalHotel bar. Not somewhere I would go unless I was staying in the hotel.

Nevine was the bartender the week I was in town. She is excellent!! Knows her beers, wines, bourbon. Total package. Great place, friendly staff. Don't miss out on an opportunity to stay here. Best place in Las Colinas!
