Great place to have both Korean bbq and hot pot. I prefer going here because the food selection is buffet style and it's better than having to sit there and wait for busy waiters to come by and get you more food. They have different kinds of noodles and selections of veggies on the conveyor belt which you can grab whatever you want when it goes by your table. My only complaint is that the restaurant was a bit small and not many tables especially for larger groups. Overall, I love the food here and I'll be back soon.

The only Chinese hotpot available in Carrollton for now (There's a new place building around the corner) and they do conveyer belt which is rare. They have a wide array of toppings including crabs that were filled with roe. It's AYCE hotpot for $29 and for $3 more you can add AYCE kbbq as well. You grab your own meats from the topping bar. The meats could be better quality imo but when you're really craving Chinese hotpot and don't want to drive far, Volcano would do.Rating the broth:(4/5) Spicy SoupThis is their Szechuan soup and it has a bit of a kick without being intolerable. I would definitely recommend it for those who prefer spicy.(3.5/5) Herbal SoupIt has all kinds of healthy Chinese herbs like ginger, goji berries, jujube, etc. although I couldn't taste them very much. The broth itself is very mild while having a perfect amount of salt

Came in on a Saturday night after spending all day outside on a cold day. The restaurant itself isn't super big. We waited 15min to be seated and my only complaint with this is while we waited there was no where to wait. We were just in the way of the door. Once we were seated it was fine. The hot pot was limited but I kinda expected this with a place that serves hot pot AND Korean bbq. Regardless I enjoyed the meats in the Korean bbq and the soup for hot pot. Service was also limited since it's all AYCE and self serve. Everyone had their individual soup. It seemed like a good place for big groups or solo eating.

I enjoyed my experience, and I would love to come back! The staff were nice (even though we arrived with only an hour and a half to spare) and I love the fun and creative concept of creating your own hot pot. I believe they some of the low ratings are due to people coming on busy days or coming with a large group. My advice: come on a week day with a group of 3 or less.

My first time trying hot pot and this place was awesome since they have hot pot and bbq. Most places require that all people in your party do the same thing so it was nice that we could order what we wanted. I went with hot pot and bbq. It is only $3 more so not bad!The spicy soup base had a kick to it and it was good. I loaded up with meat and seafood, but I should have did the noodles last if I even wanted any. I definitely need to be more strategic with it. Since it was my first hot pot I just loaded it all up. Everything was good.Everyone working here was super friendly and helpful. This place definitely got packed.

3.5 stars! This place is clean and the table lay out os efficient... they dont have too many seats for large parties. I like that you can do both kbbq and hotpot. It's pretty much self serve. Grab all your food and you cook it yourself. It was $28.99 for hotpot and $32.99 if you want both (as of 06/2024).

I love hot pot places that offer tom yum soup and individual hot pot. I like that I can customize it to my liking and not have to question which items were added and when by who. My friend and I came to check this place out. We made in error in when they open and came in while they were still setting up. They were nice to let us sit and gave us water as we waited. Ivy (Ai Vy?) was our server and she was super nice and patient. She spoke to us while we waited and was very friendly and welcoming. We opted just for the hot pot but you can also add the grill for an additional cost. The seafood and meat are self serve on the buffet as well as the sauce bar. They have separate marinared meat for the grill and frozen meats for the hot pot. There was a nice variety of seafood including fish balls along with blue crab and nice big shrimp. The rest of the ingredients, ie veggies, noodles, tofu, were served on the conveyor belt. I like that they come in smaller, individual portions. I also like that they are protectively wrapped in plastic as they come around on the conveyor belt. The tom yum soup was tasty with the sour and spicy notes coming through. As for the meat, it was really meh. The beef quality isn't great and kind of just broke apart when cooked. The pork belly was decent and I ate more of that. I cringed at the frozen chicken and crossed my finger at the possible cross contamination. Perhaps they should have a dedicated pair of tongs for that. They also have fruit and a few desserts on the buffet. Oh, and ice cream in cups is part of your ayce meal. Overall, I enjoyed my hotpot meal and would come back.

I just tied this place last weekend and have to tell you about it.If you like hotpot and tried HaiDiLao (Frisco) and loved their broth selections, then you are in luck. I went on a Monday and there were many tables available at 7pm without a wait. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating from helping with the ordering process for newbies às well as being attentive to make sure used plates were promptly picked up.They have a self-service concept after you select All-you-can-eat Hotpot broth type (they have excellently-flavored pork bone, Tomato, TomYung, spicy, etc) where you pick your seafood and frozen thinly-sliced sliced pork, beef, chicken, lamb from a buffet area. It is make-your-own sauce bar station. Vegetables come by conveyor belt for you to enhance your broth (Mushrooms, taro, spinach, Bok choy, etc)You can pay $29 for Hotpot or $32 for both BBQ and Hotpot (like Seapot).Whether you're an adventurous eater or not, you can use this dining experience to try 1 or 2 new things After you ladle out your cooked food from your own boiling broth pot, (cooking time is fast for meats since thinly sliced), dip into your sauces. If you don't know what to flavor your sauce, use their 'house sauce' which is pre-mixed. Relaxed atmosphere for a great dinner date, without the craziness of Seapot. I only tried their Hotpot, not BBQ.
