This is a great park when you're looking for a little escape for an hour or more. My family and I visited during the holidays, and we were able to walk through a magical world of lighted trees. It was a stunning sight to see. The lake really enhanced the experience. There are shops to grab a bite to eat near the water-walk as well, which is nice if you want to make the most of your visit.I highly recommend you check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I'm SO far behind on my reviews. This is for Christmas time! Three or four Saturday's each year at Christmas, Vitruvian Lights has events. Food trucks, vendors, and live music fill the park, which is already bright with lights in every tree. And I do mean EVERY tree. It's gorgeous! Of course Santa is there. Last year, on the night we went, the band was wonderful. About half Christmas music, and half entertainment. Definitely 5 star. This year, not so much. There was a DJ, playing plenty of loud, top 40 music. We were there almost 2 hours, and never heard 1 Christmas song. Very disappointing. I'll give this year 3 stars. Next year, watch the Vitruvian Park website for dates of the events. It will tell you who will be playing music that night. If you have never been to Vitruvian Lights, it is a wonderful, glorious, fantastic night you will never forget. We will definitely go every year. It's a 3 hour drive for us, but it is so worth it. Check out the pictures on Yelp. Hope to see you next Christmas!

Pretty lights, but honestly over hyped. Get there early if you want to stroll around (around 5) - after that it gets pretty packed and it'll be tough to find parking! There was a huge line of cars trying to park all night. PRO TIP: enter and exit through Bella Ln to avoid the line ;)

This place was so neat! I loved how each tree was only wrapped in one color of light, instead of multi-colored lights. The reflection of the lights on the water at night also created very beautiful paths for a stroll. I recommend coming after 10pm when parking is easier and there are no crowds.

I was so excited to show this magical park to my significant other. It is the perfect day for holiday times and family friendly. There a few restaurants and shops nearby so if you get hungry afterwards, you have a decent amount of options. They have about 3 parking lots close to the park and parking is no issue UNLESS there's an event. On event days GET HERE EARLY! Last year I sat in side street traffic just to try to get in the area and finding a parking spot felt like gladiators were battling for their lives

Vitruvian Park during holiday time is quite a sight to see - just endless trees covered in colorful lights all the way around the lake. During the pandemic this year, they are not doing the events that they do every year with music and performers, but you can still walk around the lake. I went with my family on a Saturday night and I certainly would n o t recommend that as it is incredibly busy with so many people walking around and cars backed up for a mile out from the parking lots. It took us 30 minutes just to travel the one mile to get in! Although parking and entry are free, many people walking around are not wearing masks and this is not at all enforced. We walking around the periphery rather than the walkway which was still nice, but I would definitely have rather gone on a weekday night instead which may have been better.

The stroll in the park makes me happy as a lark. Especially when a rainbow of light can make a person's night absolutely light up quite literally. Take your camera phone and take a bunch of selfies and enjoy the nice frigid air while wearing your mask and bringing your own hand sanitizer and walking around.

Beautiful evening at the Vitruvian Lights. We arrived around 5:45pm, which was perfect! No crowds and parking was easy to fine. There are many location to take memorable photos with your family and friends. All that was missing was the sound of Christmas music playing in the background. The crowds tend to arrive around 6:30pm+ As where where getting ready to leave, the traffice was very thick and there was a long line of cars waiting to park. So glad we got there early! Happy Hoildays everyone!

Free one of a kind type of holiday lighting. There are sooooo many trees that are fully lit (in a super cool fashion) around the water. It is not only hard to give words to how cool this experience is, it is unlike any light display I have ever seen. I even had family in from out of state (they are not easily impressed) and they came back for a second year to get more pictures. It really is just super cool. There is music and food trucks, and Santa is even available for photos during the time the lights are displayed. There are great paths to walk and enjoy the lights around the water and allows for plenty of space to get away from the crowds. Leave yourself time enough for traffic and parking, Also remember that people live in these apartment complexes along with the ducks on the water. We are lucky to have such an awesome FREE display. Treat it well.Bring your kids and furry four legged family members. Also, bring your cameras, as there are plenty of opportunities for super cool pictures. Enjoy this free awesome light display. Well worth coming out for...dinner in Addison before or after would make for a fabulous date night. Just a suggestion. Enjoy y'all.
