Our party of three had a reservation for 6:30 on a Saturday night and we were seated early, the dining room was full. By the time we finished at 7:30 it had emptied out. I was just visiting the area and was surprised at the timing of the crowd. The servers were friendly. The food portions were huge. We had veal parmesan, chicken fettuccine Alfredo and tortellini with a side of broccoli. Overall the pasts were fine. Nothing special and certainly not bad. The big hit is the free bread - more like garlic rolls or knots that come before your meal. Ours were fresh out of the oven and were warm and had a slightly yeasty yummy flavor. I'd go back for the bread!

We really came in to try a potentially new place for pizza in Granbury.I like the name as it reminds me a childhood pizza joint, Vito and Nick's, in Chicago. So this is not a full blown pizza place. They have pizza, but other Italian items too. We were pleased to see lunch specials, of which pizza was one. And while it sounded like it might be enough to share, our server, Kacey, said it probably wouldn't be. We took her word, and I'll probably try it, solo, later. We tend to order calamari when it's available, but after seeing Michael M.'s photo, decided "planks"was not for us (even though he did say it "was delicious").So in the end, we ordered one cheese pizza, for $17.00 (kinda pricey). It was good. Good enough to order again, save for the price. While on price, we were a bit surprised by all the prices. All rather high, but to be honest, I have not adjusted to post-COVID pricing. I did notice an actual bar in the back of the restaurant. Bottom line: Rating is for service and the pizza. No other food was tried.

The real star of this review was our server Melissa, without a doubt she made the night, we will be back just to have her again as our server. We ordered the calamari appetizer with marinara sauce which was delicious, I had the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti noodles my wife had chicken rosemary on her pasta and my daughter had tortellini and a cheese sauce, all of them were really well seasoned and prepared, the only downside of the entire night was the temperature of the space which was warm in the back area and the dipping oil, the olive oil was bitter and had they drizzled in some balsamic vinegar in the oil it would have been perfect.

Excellent food and services. I ate in the restaurant and also had a take out. Server was excellent and food came out in a very good time. Prices were fair.

Vito's is fairly new to town. I hear it's the same ownership as Randy's. Overall, it's a nice building and setting. Feels somewhat upscale. The service was very good. The food was acceptable. Maybe B- grade. It wasn't bad at all, but I feel it was the exact same menu as the other Italian places in town and not really any better despite being more expensive. Wish someone would offer some different options. Like wood fired pizzas or something that really stands out. Gnocchi? Northern Italian fare? I don't know. Hit us with something special--we're bored with spaghetti and lasagna and such--things we could do at home for cheap ourselves.

Eaten here three times now. Service was very good and the food was also. Most places don't have a very good cauliflower crust for pizza, but theirs is very good. The lasagna was delicious and the salmon was very good.

Went there for lunch on Wednesday..They had a good crowd for lunch. To break it down:* our waitress was competent. She did explain the lunch specials, she did check back from time to time, she was nice. However, she, nor any of the other people walking around the dining room, picked up any of our empty plates, including salad and bread plates. When we finished our meal, we still had all of our plates on the table. I'm a former bartender/waiter/host so I notice these things. I even pushed the empty dishes to the front of the table, yet there they sat.* whenever I try a new Italian restaurant I always get the fettuccine Alfredo. I figure if they screw that up then it's not worth coming back. The sauce was OK, it had some flavor to it. The shrimp was good. The noodles were fine in the mix that they served with the entree.* my business partner had one of their pasta specials. His comment was, that was OK, but it didn't give me reason to come back here. Being Sicilian, I realize I'm always a little bit harder than most people on an Italian restaurants since I make my own Italian food. However, when I took a couple samples of his sauce, I was extremely disappointed. It had no body to it, it had no taste to it, it was watery, and I could see why my business partner said what he said.*The bread they served was okay and had a taste of garlic to it.As with every review, this is just my personal opinion. I always encourage people to try the places I review for their own opinion.

Went in to have dinner. They were not busy. Was told there was a 5 minute wait while they prepared our table. We waited over 15 minutes and were never sat. This is the 2nd time we have had this experience! Will not be back.

The wide array of Italian authentic dishes made from scratch are mind boggling. Newly redecorated, ambiance restful and upscale, and service excellent. We weren't rushed and had perfect sized portions, with just enough for take home if you could stop eating it all! The only snag was the loss of our reservation, but the hostess found us a perfect, quiet booth for four, much needed since two in our party wears hearing aides. Will definitely return and SOON !
