First, it's not a grill anymore. They don't serve food and their concession stand barely exists. This isn't that big a deal except that I came expecting dinner.Second, they didn't actually play any of the previews before the move! I saw Avengers: Infinity War here and I'm sure Marvel would be *extremely* upset to hear this. I was looking forward to the previews, too.Third, they brought the lights up full right as the credits started. We all know there are post-credits scenes. Amateur.Fourth, the bathroom was gross. All around, disappointing.

LOLOLOL!! This is like a HILARIOUSLY BAD theater (poorly maintained, laughable concessions and ZERO customer service). I seriously expected the electricity to shut off from their lack of payment or something. It plays like 85% horrible international movies no one other than Indians would care to watch which is cool but ... why is the place soo horridly dilapidated?? I cannot imagine there being ANY WAY that this place is kept alive by just Indian supporters.Makes me feel like this place a front for something more sinister?! And if it is they really need to step their game up and stop being so damn obvious LOLOLOLOL

We went here to see the toy story 4. They have a spider man staying in the front. You can take a picture with him. The people are nice here. The only thing I don't like is they don't seem to clean the seats very well.

Look. this place deserves a sliding rule when it comes to movie theaters. If you want to watch a summer blockbuster opening night without buying advance tickets, waiting in line, or dealing with crowds of people, this is the place to go. and I'd give it 4 stars. It's a hidden gem that is great for people that just want to see a movie.Any other time, I'd rather go to another movie theater because this place isn't what it used to be. I'd give it 2 stars in this situation. Since I only go to this theater when I want to see a blockbuster and/or don't want to deal with crowds it gets higher marks from me.

Rude experience with the guy at the entrance. I just returned back with this incident. On a windy afternoon I entered to theater with my kid. I have diaper bag. The moment I entered the guy at the booking counter yelled on us " no bags inside. No minimum courtesy at all.I won't come back to this theater..

This place is sad, I remember I came long time ago and it wasn't as bad, this time I really don't know how this place is still open, so we came here bc there weren't tickets Available of ant-man in other theaters, so we came here bought the tickets only, but no one check our tickets, there were only two people working there, no post for new movies in the walls and they didn't show any trailer before the movie, when the movie started the screen was black, so we went to complain, but no body was there, we waited couple of minutes then the movie started again. The AC was set at 68, so we were freezing the entire time, We are definitely not coming back.

WORST customer service. Manager sits upfront who doesn't care and starts yelling at everything. Concession counter is pure joke. I believe they are candies bought from Sams wholesale and sold here. Will never return here, we rather take our business somewhere who cares about customer and provide good service. Oh btw air conditioning has its own background music. 0 star.

Recently discovered it this summer. I heard there was new management. The theater looked magnificent on par with its name. Stood out from other theaters in looks & old-days feel. It was very neat including the restrooms. The recliners were awesome. They even offer frequent discounted tickets. But, the only drawback is that no one was found working at the concession stand.

So I want to like this place better than I do. But it's gone downhill. That's really sad since IMHO the Venetian never really took off. Looking at it now, through the lens of memory and with the benefit of hindsight, I'm not sure the ingredients were there. It was a refurbished Albertson's in the middle of suburban North Dallas, with no other major business draws in the area to drive foot traffic. On the inside, it felt like someone was desperately trying to create the appearance of lavish decadence while on a budget, and the try-hard atmosphere never really left.I'm not going to complain about their offering a bunch of films from India in assorted languages I'm unfamiliar with, with only one marked as having English subtitles. That's a market that I don't see many other theaters really stepping up for (At some theaters I'll see maybe one or two such movies, I think. Sometimes. Maybe.) I also have only been to the Korean-focused Cine Oasis once, for Train to Busan. If I'm not the intended audience for it, then cool. But there's stuff that's less cool; not "aggressively bad" so much as just generally concerning. Once upon a time, the Venetian was an all-in-one dinner and a movie place, like Alamo Drafthouse or Studio Movie Grill. I guess that's dropped by the wayside. The structure was there, though, and if it's not active anymore it hasn't been actively dismantled so much as left inert. Monitors that once used to show movie posters in bright digital displays are left off, forming blank black blocks on the wall. The bar near the entrance that you can still see in the pictures here now sits dark, cordoned off, and empty. My wife and I arrived a hair after noon; it turns out as I'm looking at the schedule now that what we went to see was actually the first showing of anything that day.I've worked at a movie theater. Actually, both of us have, although not in the same city nor at the same time nor in the same position. But we have the experience, we both know what it's like at the beginning of the day, or at least what it should be like. There's a lot of bustle in the early morning, wanting the popcorn to be popping. This place...didn't have it. Any "it." There were, I think, exactly two people I saw working there the entire time: the man who took our tickets, and the one at the concession counter. Said concessions guy disappeared after we passed by the the first time (we wanted to make sure where our theater was), and we waited a few minutes at an empty counter for him to show up again when we came back for something to eat. The popcorn hadn't even been popped yet (a few minutes later, one of the other people in our theater apparently got some, so it was clearly on the to-do list.)I'm really hesitant to hold this against the theater staff too much. Maybe the niche it serves doesn't pull in enough money to foot the bill for a larger staff. Maybe it does, but it's only worth it later in the day, some time after the first screening of the opening weekend mainstream blockbuster that only a dozen people showed up for lets out. "Know your customers", after all, and if Thor: Ragnarok isn't filling seats like PSV Garuda Vega (which I've never heard of, but is getting as many showings here as the latest outing of the God of Thunder), then okay. But the movie started on time, sound was fine, and honestly the reclining chairs were nice. Less nice was the last step down (It's a doozy and there's no handrails), and that after the credits had finished rolling, the lights didn't come up at all (which didn't help said doozy step).I will end on a positive note, though: the price was exceptionally reasonable and the service that we did get was still with a smile.Honestly, I'd give it a tentative recommendation despite the long list of misgivings above. Just know what you're getting into.
