Uncle Julio's

The service here is always fantastic! They are very conscious of any good allergies. The fajitas are amazing shrimp, check cken and beef always perfectly cooked and flavorful. We live the table side guacamole is always fun and we can get it the way we like it. The building is always loud so be aware.

I was a little apprehensive when I saw the bad reviews but decided to give it a try. The service was very good and our waitress was incredibly attentive and nice. I will say every employee was hustling around too. I started with the queso blanco and it was creamy but could use a little more kick to it. The chips were slightly stale (this is why it got 4 stars) but the salsa had good flavor. I then got the chicken taco plate and the steak taco plate. Both were very well cooked and while I wished there could have been a different lettuce than iceberg, it was very fresh. Tex-Mex is supposed to be good but also working class. That's why this place works.

I'm biased but this location remains the best. Good food, beverages & service every time. This time I enjoyed splitting fajitas, queso with ground beef and a refreshing margarita on the rocks.

I have not been to uncle Julio's in a while. We were looking for something to eat on a Saturday evening. We ended up here at this uncle Julio's. I wasn't sure what to expect. The pictures on the menu looked good and the place had a lot of people in it. There is a lot of parking and the facility looks nice. I think it's off of 30 but we came the back way so not exactly sure but the parking lot was big and it looks like to be on its own. I ordered nachos. My son had tacos. My son's friend had enchiladas. The food presentation was OK. I told the server I wanted my beef cooked well done but when I got it, it was medium. So she sent it back and once I got it, it was cooked better. The only thing is they really didn't have much of a taste. The nachos are the lay flat kind that I like but there wasn't anything special about them. So I had a couple and then gave up. I thought the chips and the salsa tasted pretty good. It didn't appear that my son's friend liked his enchiladas. I remember him mentioning something about them being too wet. My son wasn't crazy about the tacos as well. So once we got home, we both were hungry and I had to warm something. The bill wasn't too much, but I do not think I would come here again based on the food that I tried. The restaurant was clean and again it was a nice size. Our server was fine, but I actually ordered some ice cream for my son and then she never came back. She said she thought that we were not getting the ice cream. So just an average time and left hungry.

I am so iffy about this place. The first time I came back in December, the food was amazing and I couldn't wait to come back, however the next time I came, the food was very gross. My girlfriend and I ordered enchiladas which were extremely rubbery and someone else at the table ordered medium for their $40 steak and it was bordering rare and also very rubbery. When I tried their dish, I had to spit it out because it was so hard to chew. The rice was also very, very dry. On the other hand, the place has great ambience, the table set-up looks great, the lighting gives nice ambiance, and it's very big. The service was great and when my girlfriend sent back their plate, the manager came and made sure we were satisfied in the end by comping the dish and even made sure we didn't want the enchilada remade to-go before we left. The picture attached is my enchilada which practically slid out of its casing and you can see how rubbery it is.

Taco Tuesday taco bar is a lot of fun. Taco toppings come in a beautiful and very rustic style lazy Susan. And oh my, the watermelon margarita is to die for and I don't like margaritas because they're always too sweet.

The service was pretty great. The ambiance? Eh. We were seated in the patio, which is nice enough I suppose, but the heaters were not working, so that was not great. The food is standard Mexican fare. But at a price higher than expected. I had the tortilla soup, which was good. A little lacking in the avocado. I also had the carne asada, which was good as well. That said, I can make the exact same thing for way cheaper and just as good. The prices are ridiculous. $36 for a carne asada and three tortillas? Wow. Likely not returning. The chocolate piñata was good though but then someone else in our group bought it and invited us all to partake.

Immediately upon entering, we were greeted and shown to our seat of choice. I am a booth type of Gal! Brittany was our server and was very persuasive and accommodating! She was nothing short of amazing! We planned on having a quick in and out lunch, and she allowed us to enjoy the ambiance, service, and food! She helped us on recommending a new to me! The restrooms were very well kept! The manager paid us a visit! The service was amazing! I only deducted a star because of our chicken enchiladas. They were just OK. (slightly dry and a tad bland)

The servers were very nice and they sat us quickly on a Sunday night. I would say that their food was a little TOO salty, especially the Queso and some sauces. Overall the experience and the food were quite average.

They were able to get 30 of us a table quick. The food was great and there's plenty of seating. Only they don't sing happy Birthday.
