I am glad we made an advanced online reservation for two for the 5pm happy hour because the happy hour tasting tor two for $120 is popular and they had people waiting to be seated or sitting at the bar instead. Valet parking entrance behind the restaurant was convenient to walk around the corner to the main front door. Our booth was cozy and servers were well-versed in the food. He patiently answered our questions and we ended up ordering what we liked instead of the tasting that night. We had to use the flashlight on our phones to read the menus because the restaurant keeps the lights dim for the ambiance. I loved their hibiscus tea and highly recommend it. The piping hot tea was delicious. They paced each dish well and we were not rushed. The dessert was worth the wait. The extra side dish of roasted Brussel sprouts that he gave us was something we would definitely order again. We had the Happy Hour menu items of Hama Chili, Bincho Nigiri 2pc , Salmon Temaki, and Gyutoro Gunkan 2 pc. All were delicious and fresh. We also ordered the Bluefin Chitoro Nigiri, Suzuki Yaki, and Milk and Cereal dessert. The entire fish included the head and tail and was a good sized portion. This is a nice spot for a date night or for super fresh sushi. Worth the price for the professional service, ambiance, food quality and presentation.

Five stars again and again. We made a reservation for a Monday night, and the restaurant was packed. Valet is complimentary and is right behind the building. Our server was kind- we opted for the Omakase and started with the Lychee Martini and Citrus Old Fashioned. The Omakase menu was a 10/10. I'm not the biggest sushi fan but I am now!! The flavors and detail was amazing. At one point we had a very long lapse in our next course and cocktail. Our waitress did check on us, and the staff sent over some complimentary items to cover the gap. The wait was at least 20 minutes, but the thoughtfulness to bring something else and acknowledge the wait was more than sufficient. Not the most romantic of places as the seats are shoulder to shoulder, but I would go here again in a heartbeat.

First off let me say I am not a sushi guy but my girlfriend is. So when I got promo gift card in the mail from uchiko for their new restaurant she was very excited! The atmosphere is very modern and sleek which we liked. The food was tasty and delicious and is kind of served tapas style... Not big portions but shareable plates. The food was all very tasty and they have dishes for both sushi and non sushi lovers! I would recommend and would come back. But don't come starving unless you know what you're getting into as each dish is not super big.

We had a lovely date night at Uchiko! Highly recommend for a top tier date night at Legacy West. Service is wonderful, food is fresh and delicious, and vibes are swanky, but minimal, which we love! They also have complimentary valet, which is a nice touch for parking at Legacy West.We tried the Japanese sweet potato side, whole branzino, soft shell crab roll, cod katsu, snow crab roll. All dishes were prepared extremely well! My faves were the sweet potato side (preparation is devine, they melt in your mouth), soft shell crab, and branzino. Again, highly recommend!

Lovely location at Legacy West. Interior follows Uchi ambiance. Reservations can easily be made online and on Sunday it's happy hour all day at the bar. We were promptly seated and service was impeccable. Our server asked what we typically order at Uchi and made wonderful recommendations. Everything we ate was delicious. A standout was the charred maitake. Wonderful experience, perfect for date night.

So I have been coming here for 2 items. I love their tofu sushi roll and their Japanese sweet potato dish. The service has the bar is generally good. The kitchen is hit or miss. Sometimes things come out in a decent time and other times it's very slow as if they forgot your order. However, the quality is consistent and I always think that I should have ordered more than one role. I will keep coming back and branch out but for now those two options make me smile. How could I forget the brussel sprouts !!!

Had omakase for 2 people. It was $310-ish per person. Not your traditional omakase with nigiri. There were many dishes and only 2 nigiris. I didn't mind it. It's nice to have variety of dishes. I liked everything that was served to us for the mushroom. They need to replace the mushroom with another dish or make this dish more flavorful. We ordered from happy hour dishes (HH is from 4-6PM everyday) and they were not worth it. The dumplings came in 2 pieces for like $12. My kids didn't even like it. They really like the chicken karagee which I agreed were good, moist and tender.

So my favorite restaurant in DFW is Uchi in Uptown so when I found out that Uchiko was opening up my way in Legacy West I was so excited. I didn't want to get my expectations up so I was prepared for it to be not as good as Uchi, but let me tell you how glad I am that i was wrong. Uchiko is just as delicious as Uchi and I am ecstatic about it.The hubs and I went there for our 11 year "dating" anniversary and they made it special from start to finish and even included a couple dishes on the house. Walking in, it feels VERY similar to Uchi in Uptown. Similar decor and vibe, but I actually prefer Uchiko's layout better. Foodwise, Every single thing we had there was just out of this world. The flavors and textures are innovative, creative and unlike anything else we've ever had. It feels like we are eating a meal from Top Chef. Some of our favorites (chef's kiss ):- Hama chili- Kanpachi crudo- Koviche - yokai berry- snow crab nigiri- salmon handroll - milk & cereal Wish we could afford to eat here regularly, but we definitely can't. They do however have a pretty sweet happy hour, so we usually make sure to take advantage of that! So happy Uchiko is here in Plano.

Omgg we finally have a Uchi's branch in plano!! I'm so glad we finally have one up north so no longer have to drive to dallas. Yes, they have like 95% same menu as uchis! The place is only open at 4pm, but def make reservations ahead of time because it gets packed during the weekend. They have complementary valet in the back so easy for parking. If you love the sushi at Uchis in dallas, you'll also love the sushi here. Every dish we had was oh so fresh and lovely! My only complaint was that my friends steak came like 10mins before her rice so that was a struggle trying to eat both together and it took much longer to get steak than sushi. The service is great and they even pushed my reservation out a few hours when I was running late. The place is super cute so make sure dress up! Can't wait to be back!

5 stars every time ! Ask for Anthony, you won't regret it. The Japanese sweet potato is AMAZING, the iberico pork is AMAZING, really everything is amazing. Uchiko does sushi so well that I have been disappointed at nearly every sushi spot I've tried after this. This is the one restaurant where every time I go, I run up a check. My boyfriend and I order everything we can from here LOL. I recommended the otoro, flounder, and madai nigiri but truly everything is excellent! This spot is decorated so tastefully and gives off that romantic vibe. 10/10 date night!
