I took my dad for his birthday lunch on a weekday. The interior was clean and the service was good. They had one waitress, and she was quick to make sure we were served and took our orders fairly quickly. There is ample parking at the storefront as well. I ordered the beef japchae (comes with rice). I had the option to choose other protein options as well, but the beef was flavored well and would definitely recommend! The banchan sides were delicious, and my dad and I really enjoyed the sides. We also ordered the kimbop (we chose squid), which was quite a large portion, but I will say wasn't great. Maybe it was the squid, but I would maybe try the kimbop again with another protein. My dad ordered the dakgalbi, which was really dry - would not recommend the dakgalbi. The banchan plus how the beef in the japchae and the flavor of the japchae was cooked, we would be willing to go back to give it another chance, especially since the portions were generous with the price point. The japchae serving was two meals for me!I'm happy to have a Korean place in the area that I can go to!

Tto Seoul is a solid local option for a variety of Korean dishes without having to go to Carrollton. The banchan include a good assortment of veggies including chewy black beans and crisp lotus root. I liked that the kimchi wasn't too sour or salty, and it had a good crunch. We were offered refills, as well.\\ 떡벅이 (tteokboki)- decent sized portion for the over $10 cost for this epitome of Korean snack food- not very spicy but hits the spot- large chewy rice cake accompanied by sweet onion slices and umami fish cakeAll in all, a great place to satisfy a kdrama-induced craving for bibimbap, tofu soup, or tteokboki/kimbap combo!

I've been waiting for a good kimbap place to open in this area and it finally did!First time and only ordered both the beef and the spicy pork kimbap. They were very generously sized and and flavors were good. It's worth coming just for those.Didn't get to try any of the other dishes, but they all looked good. Since my experience is on good kimpab, I will be back to try more as I expect the other stuff to be just as good.

Our new favorite spot! We just moved to the area and saw TTO while going to another store. We decided to stop in for dinner. It's set up like a fast casual restaurant. They greet you immediately, find out how many people are with you and direct you where to sit. We ordered squid kimbap (my FAVORITE - it's Korean sushi, essentially) for our starter and two different bibimbaps in the cast iron bowl. We were a little surprised by the beef being ground rather than sliced, but it still tasted great. About a week later, we were in the area again and decided to grab food to take home. The lady was so sweet and she remembered me from our previous visit. I ordered different styles of kimbap and bibimbap from what we ordered previously. It was still excellent. We will be back for many more meals and I recommend you do, too!

I have been dying for some local kimbap and this place fulfilled my wish! Their beef kimbap was delicious but so is everything else we tried!! From the kimchi stew to the beef bulgogi and endless banchan we left feeling full and happy! The service was amazing too the owner was so nice and accommodating as well. Can't wait to go back and try more kimbap next time! Definitely a new lunch staple!

I absolutely love this place. I am so glad that they opened close to my home! No longer do I have to drive clear across town to get some Kimbap! This place is the real deal, real authentic Korean food in Frisco; I am overjoyed! The interior is very welcoming and clean, it is perfect for an afternoon lunch or an evening dinner date! Ordering is done at the counter and food is delivered hot and fresh to your table; be sure to grab utensils and napkins at the self serve counter along with some of the delicious complimentary unsweetened barley tea (it's so good). All of the dishes I have had so far have been wonderful! My favorite dish is the Sundubu Jjigae (soft tofu stew)! This warm and comforting stew is perfect for this time of year! You can pick the spice level of the dish when ordering; I ordered mine spicy and it was very hearty and flavorful. I ordered the Pork cutlet for my son and it was served hot and crispy! He really enjoyed it and the side of salad that was served with it! The banchan was very good! I love the combination of banchan served, it is hard to find some places that will have the combination served here. My husband ordered the pork bibimbap and he said it was pretty tasty. The Kimbap is also pretty food, it is a nice size for the price! We have tried the spicy octopus, pork and veggie varieties and all were good. The service has been good each time we have visited and the workers were very friendly. Overall we will be back!

Food - 3Service - 4Value - 4This place offers a fair value for Korean food in the Frisco area. Portions are quite large, but I actually would have preferred smaller portions with prices $2-$4 lower per dish -- but it was a decent value for the portion size.I also felt the dishes had a little too much sauce in them -- here again I would have preferred something less -- maybe 50% less sauce than what it came with. The free hot barley tea was a nice gesture and paired well with the food.
