I've been shopping here for the better part of a year, they have some good prices however 80% or more of the store has expired products, sometimes over a year old. You need to sift through your interests here unless your ok with this. What made me write today is that this place over charges its customers daily. Likely in every transaction. They do not scan anything besides alcohol so they go by the sticker price. If there is no price sticker on the product, they will guess what the item costs and I have NEVER seen them guess on the low side. However there are several signs in the store where the price is 2 for X price or 4 for X price. Sometimes the sticker price is different from the for sale sign in front of the product. Since I am being overcharged I started taking pictures and paying attention to what it is ringing up (some registers dont let you see what price it is ringing up). When I see something that is ringing up at the register incorrect I will share the picture with them and they are usually rude after this. Its not my fault and you should be happy to honor what the store shows. Between all the expired items, the rude staff (the main manager is the worst), and the over priced items at register compared to the shelf price is why I will not be shopping here anymore.

so I have only been to the location in Fort worth so i was excited to see a new location in Arlington. It opened back around September 2020 but recently got a chance to visit in April 2021. They buy wholesale groceries and resell them at a lower price compared to most supermarkets. This location is in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking compared to fort worth would say. They got the store split up a little different than other stores, for one the produce section is all the way in the back next to the milk. They have really cheap products because they buy it wholesale or by unwanted truckload so they try to move it out quickly. They tend to have some common produce like lettuce, celery etc. Sometimes they have okra by the case at like $3 x case crazy good! Once I went and they had eggplant 10 for one dollar! Persian cucumbers was also 12 for one dollar or 10 cents each but you might as well buy a whole dollar worth. Bitter melon, ginger, bell peppers, cucumbers, honeydew melon, corn among others. They have a walk-in freezer with a variety of dairy products sold solo or by the case, sometimes you get a better deal buying by the case! They also have the cold meats sections with plenty of daily specials. A small paper good section is located on the left part of the store when you come in and a even smaller 'home goods' section is located on the far right to the store. I go there when I need a good deal on potatoes chips for parties, during Christmas and Halloween they sell candy boxes for $10 filled with full-size candy bars and a variety of other candy. Honestly, that is a bargain because once one of the teachers I work with got that box for her classroom and she did the math and it came out to be worth over 35 dollars worth of candy for just 10. Once my dad got a box for Christmas and it had over 35 worth of candy for 10! Same goes for drinks, depending on what your looking for they got good deals on energy drinks. I have also gotten my salad dressings from them for a great price.

This is very similar to a Grocery Outlet but with slightly more adventurous items. Lots of ethnic goods and less common cuts of meat. Interesting to peruse in the same way Dirt Cheap is (although Town Talk is MUCH more organized than Dirt Cheap).Like Grocery Outlet, the concept is pretty much reselling expired or near-expired goods. On Saturdays they sell produce at good prices, but that too appears to be a day or two past its prime. Compared to Tom Thumb, yes, these prices are rock bottom, but Aldi shoppers won't be impressed. I actually even spotted Aldi brand Savoritz crackers - $0.79 per box. So in this case the discount for buying expired is only $0.20. Call me extravagant, but I'd rather splurge on a $0.99 box of not-expired crackers on my next Aldi run.We walked the whole store and didn't buy anything. I think the expired food model just isn't my jam.

We found Town Talk to be quite the experience. It's kind of like going to an outlet mall, but for food. The selection is all over the board. Some stuff is super cool. Other stuff....not so much.A friend of ours insisted we accompany him on his weekly trip here a couple months ago. He did always find cool stuff, so, why not? From a first impression standpoint, I don't think without him, we'd have even understood what the place was from the street. It's pretty non-descript.We grabbed a cart and headed in and were immediately impressed with their beverage selection. Everything from eclectic non-alcoholic seltzers to exotic craft beers and everything in between. The prices definitely live up to the hype. Everything here is dirt cheap. Can't go wrong with that.As to the selection, the one thing that got me was the amount of product that was expired. Yeah yeah, I get that a lot of folks think things are still good past the date on the package. But the amount of product and the amount of time past expiration didn't sit right with me. Not sure I'd buy meats or dairy products here. The service was pleasant and prompt. Would probably go back, just would steer clear of "fresh" groceries.

This is an interesting experience. If you are looking to find things you never knew you needed, weird flavors of your favorite items, or if you want to save money on energy drinks I would say stop on by! This is a store that sells things at a low price, stuff that stores couldn't sell all of or things that are just overstock in general. Some of the items do appear to be expired though if you ask anyone they will tell you its the "sell by date". Do with that info what you will. All in all staff is great. This super sweet little old lady checked us out and I enjoyed her. She apologized for being slow, but I hope you guys let her know she is great! Wish I could remember her name. All in all I will be back.

I love the deals at Town Talk. The produce on Saturday is one of them, and the frozen section any day of the week. Check the dates. (I don't recommend expired chips!) They have dark chocolate peanut butter cups right now that are really good!

I am addicted to this place! Really exciting foods go fast, like individual sirloins vacuum packed. Also, JC Potter breakfast sausage is the best and there's a ton of them in the freezer section. Can't find JC Potter in Texas so people don't know it's a goldmine. Would go there today but they're closed on Sundays! That's my only complaint.
