If you can ignore the fact that you're instantly transported to an episode of Roseanne*- Town East Bingo is the place to be!*not a bad thing, I LOVE Roseanne. If you've seen one bingo hall you've seen them all. There is smoking and non-smoking and tons of A+ people watching. I especially like this hall because a)it's really close to my apartment b)it's open 7 days a week, twice a day ,and c) it's cheap.$10 gets you 12 games of standard bingo. They come around a LOT with pull tab games that are pretty fun so bring cash as they are only $1 each and keep you entertained during game switches. Watch yourself though- an addict like me can easily spend $10-15 extra on pull tabs when I thought I was having a thrifty night out. There are also a lot of opportunities for extra cards for the standard games. I'm not advanced enough to play 800 fuckin' cards at one time yet though- I've tried it and I go insane trying to keep up. I'll save those extra cards for the people with their own special dabber purses and bingo decorated seat cushions - the REAL Bingo players. There is a snack corner here with the standard high school sporting event quality type of foods- nachos and such- plus "specials". I can't say I've tried it...and I don't think I will ever say I have tried it.For those of you new to the game - night sessions begin at 7:15 with "early bird" games at 7PM. Get there early to get behind the old man with the stuffed bear! Hes next to the woman with the BINGO seat cushion and the special edition dabbers. He passes the bear over to you if you get a bingo, and if you press its paw and it yells "BINGO!!" and sings! ;)The night session usually gets out around 9:15. Night Owl games begin afterward, but I haven't made quite the gambling addict leap and stayed for it.... so I don't know how long it goes.My only complaints are: small section for non-smokers, the games go a little bit too fast to keep up sometimes, and they are constantly playing reno and not blackout or postage stamp...or...um...ok..I'm a gambling addict and am going to go stop being a loser now.

I went for the first time last week and had a great time. I didn't win but it was fun and it's $10 to play a set, not a bad deal if you end up winning $100-300 bucks. I went on a Friday night and they were not very busy so that was even better, more personal space for me!

What's better than non smoking Bingo. This place is nice and clean ( even the bathrooms) and the employees are friendly. It seems quite safe and is well lit and calm. Only $10 a set so a relatively low cost couple of hours of entertainment.

Reasons to play bingo at Town East Bingo:1. You've been watching too much Mad Men and need an indoor place to smoke- and Ft Worth is too far away.2. You've got a hankering for that old part of Vegas where the air is thick with smoke, as old ladies put nickles in the slots (sluts? no slots) and forget to ash their Virgina Slims- but you don't have enough airline points to head out of town.3. You're learning your numbers and a few select letters.4. You miss the way you used to smell when leaving a bowling alley before the days of smoking bans.So there's much more to this place then...smoking. But smoking is going to be the first thing you notice when you get here, and it's going to stay with you all night after you leave. Like the one-night stand that lingers on in the morning even though you pretend you're asleep.*Oh yeah, if you get a bingo you win some money. Cha-ching!*There is a non-smoking room, and while this may decrease your chance of cancer, it won't totally shield you from the smoke.

This is the first and only bingo site I've ever been too. It's huge! Loads of tables. The employees are super nice and fun! I believe you can BYOB and food, but if you want get something from there go to the little grill in the corner. The women and man there are super friendly... They usually have specials on Friday nights, which are not special, just frozen family meals I think. Like lasagna, spaghetti, chicken friend steaks...of coure with appropriate sides like salads, mashed taters, green beans, rolls, or garlic toast... Anywho, the place is fun, I think. I only go on Friday nights when my co-worker goes, because no one else will go with me and I can't stand going places like that by my self... ;] OH! They have lil mini games (pull tabs), and other fun lil contests with prizes n junk. They also have a back room with slot machines. You can play those while waiting for the bingo game to start. You don't get actual money when you play, but you do get "coupons" for anything you want in the bingo hall (cigs, food, drinks, game cards, etc...). So..all in all its a nice bingo hall.. ;]

I have a dream. I dream of a place where smokers are not just accepted but given preferential treatment. I dream of a place where gambling is allowed daily-damn the laws of the land. I dream of a place a man can visit with five hotties and still check out the blue haired babes that descend upon this Valhalla nightly. I dream of a place where a man can freely use his dauber without fear of ridicule. Town East Bingo I love you for making my dream a reality! This is greatness! I haven't played bingo since grade school and I wonder why after just one addictive evening with you. So much entertainment for 10.00. You get to play 12 cards for 12 games. That is about a bajlliony chances to win, by my figuring. Remember to take cash though-no cards allowed. Also as fun as I think drunk bingo would be-you had better practice sober for awhile. They call those numbers out quick and it is hard to keep up for the uninitiated. Be patient though and by the end of the evening you will have almost won several times. Be warned-this could be habit forming-at least if the 150 or so regulars are to be believed!

Not too sure where to begin, it's always hot. The ac is always broken or "being repaired". "Certain" customers are treated differently than others... let's just say Mesquite is not as modernized as we thought. I witnessed it first hand and will not be returning to this establishment. Bathrooms are filthy and you can only imagine the germs multiplying in the heat! The food is bad and the concessions are overpriced. If I could rate a 0 I would. It's sad when the leadership staff is not taking much of a lead. This is only my second visit and definitely my last.

The above reviews are very accurate. Just a super friendly place where you can play Bingo and not get ripped off. 10 dollars for an evening of Bingo, and by chance we have gone 5 times and won more than once at 4 of our visits. We are hooked after going to the Tyler bingo which has limited games and we were set only a couple of times. Cost in Tyler more than double what it cost us at Town East.Lots of seats, go early, take some playing cards and entertain yourselves before the early bird begins. You can bring in from outside drinks and eats. No problem. Do not forget to tip, and the caller will thank every tipper. They do call fast, so no day dreaming.
