Visited for lunch. There's a small selection of sashimi. Quality is mediocre. Sushi rolls were ok, higher quality than heb sushi but nothing to write home about. Service is great. Very attentive refilling drinks and clearing plates. There was a variety of hot foods and they were ok. Tempura, clams, and chicken wings were tasty. The other hot foods are typical Asian buffet foods, fried rice, lo mein, etc. It was nothing special. They didn't have many dessert options. If you're looking for quantity and good with mid tier quality I think this is a good choice for the price.

Food was quite mediocre. Tempura is more like Gortons frozen shrimp. Sushi, is mainly rolls, with non sushi rice. You definitely do not feel the texture of true Sushi rice, nor the flavor. Very limited on Nigiri, and what was available, was a little on the pale side. This is a place you go to, if there is nothing else around. Definitely NOT an upscale Sushi restaurant. That being said, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance is more of an '80's Japanese restaurant. Sorry, just being honest.

I've been coming to Tokyo One since they were located in Addison. I heard they moved to their current location a few years ago and were doing more of an AYCE setup during Covid. I've had family members try it and were not very impressed. Happy to hear they have gone back to their buffet model so I decided to check it out while in the area. It's smaller than the previous space, but you still have your sushi, hot foods, and dessert stations.I look forward to the crab legs so I usually come for dinner. They are served chilled but you can get the hotpot and then add them in there if you like to eat them warm. The staff keeps them stocked up on the buffet, and I love that they have a big bowl of lemon wedges right beside them. The sushi section is still quite impressive with a wide variety of rolls. The hot food station has a lot of the old familiar dishes including chicken curry. The desert station had creme brûlée but was sadly missing the Oreo pie and chocolate covered strawberries. The wait staff seem to still be attentive as before when it comes to refilling drinks and clearing away dishes. However, I didn't remember until after we left that our server didn't offer ice cream. Reading other reviews I realized that they still have it. That's a bummer. There's always room for ice cream. Apparently there are things you can order through your server like noodle soup. Another thing I forgot about and wish our server mentioned to us. I'll be back and will make sure not to miss out again!

Toyko One is still #1 -- $45 per person, all you can eat crab legs!! Tokyo One doesn't hold back, bringing out dozens of beautiful huge crab legs. Fresh! Easy to snap! Easy to eat! Need I say more? See my picture! Our waiter was excellent and ready to serve. He quickly prepared our table with claw crackers, fresh lemon, hot butter, and extra napkins. Each time we went back for more crab legs, we returned to a clean table. He kept our water glass full without asking. Nice! The added bonus is that this price includes an "unlimited" hot pot, a variety of soups, stir-fried options, sushi & sashimi as well as fresh fruit and a few desserts like Cream Brule (it's perfect)!! TIP: You can opt out of eating crab legs and reduce your bill to $35.00 per person.

I remember going to Tokyo One all the time when I was little before they went away. They came back a few years ago and I came to try it with my family. The selection feels small but you can definitely make it worth it. The sushi section is huge and definitely one of the sections where you can get your moneys worth. They have quite a few good rolls and even have sashimi! For their hot foods section, I would recommend the baked mussels all the way. Those are soo good. They also have galbi and lamb chops, though some of the lamb chops may be over cooked with too much char. They also have a tempura section which I like as well.

Very good. Lots of sushi options. Unlimited beef short ribs among other hot dishes. Amazing. 3 options for ice cream at the end. Went for dinner, but will try lunch too.

Not a bad place to go for all-you-can-eat sushi. On the weekends, the up charge is because you get all you can eat snow crab legs. If you want special rolls, you can order it from your water (it is included in the price). The soups are pretty tasty too. It does get pretty crowded at this place so make sure to call ahead if your have a big party

Clean, quiet, speedy service. $40/person for dinner on Saturday night. Its AYCE, with a wide variety of foods to choose from: cooked crab legs, sushi rolls (raw and cooked), sashimi, nigiri, 4-5 soups, sides, hibachi, dessert. I didn't try the hot pot but they have that as well, included in pricing.

I've been visiting Tokyo One multiple times throughout the years. I liked them before COVID-19 because the buffet prices were around $20 and the food was good. They also have a lot of options for entrees, sushi, and desserts. The restaurant is clean, but the buffet area could use more work.I recently visited again because I was craving some sushi, and didn't want to drive to Carrollton for my usual place. It was pretty packed on a Friday night, but luckily we came after the dinner rush so there wasn't a long wait. They brought back the buffet style instead of having to order through the server during COVID. The sushi was okay, but it looks like it's been sitting out for a while since nobody seems to touch it. I got a little of each piece to try. Quality was okay, it's what you can expect for AYCE sushi. We came 45 mins before closing but they were already cleaning up the area. My boyfriend was waiting for the chef to restock the inari sushi, but they never did and he was pretty sad. They also offer hot pot, but it's just a plain broth and there's a counter for veggies & seafood. They didn't have any sliced meats, so that was disappointing. There's a small menu on the table if you want to order something from the server. I didn't see it until the end but it has grilled oysters and eel nigiri, along with ramen and soups. Most of the entrees look like it's been sitting out for some time and don't look that appetizing. I guess that the best time to go would probably be during rush dinner hours if you want fresh food. I enjoy their dessert bar. They have a lot of different desserts ranging from cream brulee to fresh fruits. If you want ice cream, you'd have to ask the server to bring you some. They offer red bean, vanilla, and chocolate. It took us forever to pin down a server since they looked like they were understaffed. Even after we did, they forgot half the things that we ordered. They currently offer crab legs for AYCE for $45 during the weekend, and there's a separate area for the crab legs. The crab legs look big, but I'm not a fan of them so we just got the regular dinner version for $37. I think the price is pretty expensive for what you get, especially if you don't like sushi like my boyfriend. It was nice to check them out again, but I'd rather save the money for the AYCE sushi in Carrollton for the same price.
