What an absolutely charming, family owned and run Mexican restaurant! Our waitress Linda was so friendly! chef Toni came out and spoke with us! And he was so humble and friendly when we complemented him on the meal! The chips and salsa were so good. Tony told us that the Salsa was from an old family recipe. We had the fajitas for two, and they were so delicious! IOh, and ask them to tell you about the history of this location, it is fascinating The location is very clean ! The staff is very friendly and accommodating! The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced! We will be back next time we visit Fort Worth

Saturday afternoon with the fam and it's National Margarita Day--we need margaritas! Instead of choosing one of the many big, well-known Tex-Mex restaurants, we decided to try Tia's for a first time visit. The restaurant is located in the childhood home of the owner, Linda C across the street from Cowtown Brewery. There's a cute dining area adjacent to the front door. As you enter, to the left there's a bar area with high top tables and chairs. The main dining area feels like you're in Linda's home--comfortable and relaxing. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive. As a matter of fact, Linda was our server for the day. I had the chicken enchiladas verde with the fixings and a cold Modelo. Wife and daughter both had salads--one steak and one chicken. My enchiladas were delicious--just enough cheese and sauce. Cooked to perfection. The salads were described as very good. As a special treat, Linda graciously spoke with us about her family--many that work there with her as well as her memories of growing up in the neighborhood. We really enjoyed her stories as she made us feel like one of the family. We are definitely coming back to enjoy the food and great fellowship! Soon the backyard stage and tequila bar will be in full swing once Spring arrives in the Town of the Cow.

We came in thinking that there were some great specials for Thursday night, only to find out the post I had seen was a fake. Our server took pity on us and gave us the discounted price on my margarita!. We arrived about 5:40 and were about the only customers. The chips were good and the salsa (love the individual bowls!) had just enough bite. Hubby had the chicken fajitas and says they were very good. It came with nice sized sides of rice and beans. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas with rice and they were REALLY good- the sauce had great taste and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. The frozen margarita initially tasted of mix, but it grew on me the further down the glass I got. Haha!Service was good, but the ambience was a little lacking.

I am so unbelievably happy that they're back open! We had chips, salsa and queso, strawberry/mango swirl margaritas, the carne guisada plate and beef enchiladas. We've never had the mole, so they brought out a little sampler plate for us to try! I swear that first bite of carne guisada after not having it for a year, made me so happy. I've tried carne guisada at other places and NONE make it like Tia's! Our waiter was JP, he was super nice and attentive! We got to talk to Joe and get a sneak peek of some of the new menu items that Tia's will have. He also told us about Sunday Funday, where the patio will have a tequila bar, tvs to watch games, menudo/pozole will also be on the menu. Lots of fun things coming! Joe shared the history of Tia's with us and how he grew up in the house with everyone including his abuela (grandma). Abuela used to feed the homeless whenever they would come through the neighborhood. She wanted her family to continue that tradition, and they have. Tia's on the Bluff is one of those restaurants where you walk in and feel at home. Everyone is so friendly and personable. The food is absolutely delicious, the history of Tia's is heartwarming. Please please please do yourself a favor and go see them!

Tia's has the most attentive waiters. It is a family owned mom and Pop place with great food quality. I love their enchiladas and some of the best margaritas around town! Great Enchiladas - I normally do Sour cream cheese for my sauce (note sometimes the red sauce is oily / greasy). Tia's is a newly renovated house with a bar side, large dining area and amazing backyard patio plus a front bpatio AND a deck porch for dining!

So excited this place is back open! Server/Bartender Gavin rocked it. Always checking on us. Food was good! Had a little problem with a couple of my friend's food not being hot enough. Gavin promptly took care of the issue and Kitchen manager Tony came out to apologize. Love the new patio/bar area outside. Can't wait for warmer weather to try it out. Will definitely be back soon for more great food and friendly service. Thank you Gavin and Tony for a fun evening!

I've been coming here since it opened & reopened. The family that owns & runs it are good people. It's very close to my house & food is good. They may not be like the northside Mex. restaurants but they'll give them a run for their money. Before my mother passed away, we loved eating there. This place has good food. Yes, my mother loved the hospitality & food.

This is such a cute family owned restaurant! The staff was welcoming and even gave us a tour and some history about the restaurant and how it used to be a house! The queso was thick and creamy and the margs were big and yummy!

Was skeptical at first, but the delicious food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere did not disappoint!! Came here on Valentine's Day and met some friends for dinner as we were visiting from Houston. I believe that Houston has the best Tex-Mex, which I love, so I was skeptical about the food. I ordered the steak quesadillas and they were VERY good! Steak was marinated perfectly! Husband ordered chicken quesadillas and he loved them (and he's picky about chicken). Friends ordered steak fajitas and chicken mole enchiladas. They loved it as well. The salsa with the chips was homemade and awesome, and the queso blanco was perfect! To top it off, they gave us a free heart shaped piece of red velvet cake for Valentine's Day. Oh, and the top shelf margarita was delicious! Everything was VERY reasonably priced for the quality of food! Highly recommend!

Service was pretty bad. We arrived and the guy who sat us was talking to a table for a good while. The two servers working acknowledged us but didn't approach us. We waited for a good 10-15 minutes. The place wasn't busy at all either. Kind of disappointed. We went to Los Molcajetes restaurant instead and service was a lot faster.
