DO NOT STAY HERE!! Unless you want to stay in the cutest bed and breakfast, with the kindest proprietor, who makes the most delicious baked goods. Oh, unless you like to eat sweet treats that you can literally taste the love and care that went into making them DO NOT EAT HERE! Every pastry has a story that warms your heart. The butter cream is handmade by her 87 year old mother. The bacon is from a local ranch, the berries are from a local farm, and puff pastry recipe has been handed down for generations. Every single thing about this place screams, cute, caring, and kind. Honestly it is a bit sickening. Darlene is such a delight you start to question if your own mother loved you enough. Top notch service underpinned by a love of people that made me want to leave so I could book this place again.

I regret not taking more photos. I did get in an hour later than expected, please check your email before going. I did not but thankfully Darlene was there waiting for me and ready to check us in. Our room The Golden Age was on the second floor and was beautifully decorated. The tub was pretty large for a one-person hot tub feel. The room was clean and spacious. They offer a 24/7 refreshment bar which was greatly appreciated! They provide access to a balcony with a great view of a Texas sunset, which I recommend you view before heading out in the evening or sitting out on the wrap-around porch for some light reading or relaxing before dinner. The environment is overall welcoming and inviting. The bakery is downstairs and offers complimentary hot breakfast in the morning and if your lucky pastries throughout the day if they don't run out. I loved all my treats! If you haven't had a Kringle, I'd recommend the cherry cheesecake and it is delicious and best with a hot cup of coffee. I can't wait to go back, it was the best staycation a girl could ask for but I suggest booking in advance their rooms are quickly booked!

Update 1/1/2019Gave them back the last star: Their Christmas Kringles were a hit; both of them. And the service was still just as excellent as every time I go Great family owned and run bakery and bed and breakfast in the heart of fort worth. The mother daughter trio cook up sweets every day and sell them out of a small storefront until they run out for the day. They also make sweets for special events and holidays. Its not quite a 5 bc i wasnt a huge fan of the pies i got for thanksgiving, the apple pumpkin pie had entitely too much nutmeg or nutmeg type flavor, and the pecan chocolate was very dense. But i love their daily offerings, i have never been disappointed. The ladies who run the place are soo sweet too. I just love talking to them talk about what they put into particular treats, they provide such tasy descriptionI have never stayed in one of their rooms but they do look quaint and the house is so beautifully detailed. A little pricey but im sure the hospitality may be worth

Built in 1900's and renovated to comfortable B&B (full breakfast weekends only, otherwise scrumptious baked goods) located about 2 miles south of downtown. Cool Potential Ghost: Second Owner was robbed and shot on the back porch: bullet hole remains!I've stayed in a number of B&B's. None should even try to be a Holiday Inn Express. If you want a quick and easy lodging experience, this ain't it, nor should it be. Choose to slow down and live in history; don't slip on the floor hurrying down stairs; don't hit your head on a low ceiling; carefully step up the +48" to get into the claw foot tub, and do not drop the huge glass containers of liquid soap or shampoo. Patiently find plugs for your devices, and don't expect a lot of room around the sink for anything more than you toothbrush.Enjoy sitting on a sunny porch in the morning and having a cup of tea in the rotunda. Imagine the former owners' lives, and the way they lived Day to Day 100 years ago.....but, um you'll have Internet!

Very friendly folks and delicious baked goods. When we needed to wait to enter the small ordering area, we sat outside under an awning and Darlene brought us a sample. She bashfully agreed to have her picture taken with me. The historical home is also an inn with 5 en-suite bedrooms.

We had to cancel our anniversary reservations at Three Danes Inn because of a family emergency, but Darlene & Jim helped us reschedule and we had a wonderful time. The hosts are warm and thoughtful, the historic house is lovely and the huge variety of delicious Danish pastries will make you happy.Darlene and Jim were great. We'll be back!

We learned of Three Danes Baking Company through friends and ordered a curbside pickup last week. Today, we were already back to order three full boxes treats to stock out house full on #QuarantineCarbs. (We live near Love Field, so this is somewhat of a long distance love affair, but well worth it!) The owners delivered to our car (in masks and gloves) to minimize any Covid-19 concerns. EVERY treat we've had so far has been amazing. I could not recommend them any more highly.

Best pastries, best people, the most hospitality you will ever find. Spending time with Jim and Darlene is the most fun Cowtown has to offer. Three Danes Inn is as good an experience as you can buy. Well, really, you can't buy this kind of care and attention to detail....This is just a magic place.

They have an inn as well as a bakery and we stayed at the inn. Very cozy and accommodating. The bakery next door is so delicious and you can smell the bakery at the inn. The owner was very sweet with directions and chatting so nicely with us while we ate the pastries. Wonderful assortment of pastries and freshly made. Would recommend staying here.
