Went for a weekday lunch on tuesday. All 3 of us ordered Parotta. Veg Salna, chicken curry and mutton curry.My colleague said veg salna was good!Chicken and mutton curry were decent but both tasted the same.Parotta size felt small for price and additional parotta costs 3.99 which is a bit much for the size

Great food , Very busy on Weekends.Delicious food , both vegetarian and non vegetarian.Thali food is good for weekends. Clean atmosphere Mango lassi is good too.Good customer service.

I would recommend this place only for their unlimited Thalis on the weekend, which is also a bit expensive. But it's an experience. However, The weekday Thali is a bummer when you see the quantity of food served and the amount you are paying!! I have been to this joint a few times & food was average tasting. It's pretty much same as Kumar's, Pandiya's & Kuppana. In my recent visit ordered non veg thalis & was disappointed with quality! Rice used was average grade, appetizer was warm but all curries were cold. Dissatisfied !!! Although Service was friendly & decent ambience.

Very authentic very flavorful food. There are very few Indian restaurants in DFW that dont disappoint and it is one of them. Their Biryani's, Parotha, Dosa every think is top of the game!

Authentic, flavorful culinary delights from COIMBATORE, TAMIL NADU (SOUTHERN INDIA) with accents from KERALA at the recently opened THIRU KUPPUSWAMY ANAVAGAM in Irving, TX!As a blue blooded-foodie, I have learnt to appreciate South Indian cuisine from my South-Indian Aunties and neighbors back home, the ubiquitous Udipi restaurants in Mumbai, and from our extensive travels across South-India.Net net, I have evolved way beyond just a 'Idli-Dosa-Vada Dude' and cannot get enough of the potpourri of tamarind, coconut and curry leaves laced flavors, aromas, herbs, and spices that is the hallmark of the rich culinary heritage of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala from SOUTHERN INDIA that is distinct and totally different from the NORTH-INDIAN cuisine served at most "Indian Restaurants" in the West! While most of us have been raised on delicious vegetarian South-Indian cuisine served up by the UDUPI Restaurants and high end restaurant chains like WOODLANDS and DASAPRAKASH across North-East-West India, I discovered the joy of spicy and novel non-vegetarian cuisine from the South only in Dallas.We checked out the recently opened THIRU KUPPUSWAMY ANAVAGAM in Irving, with its origins in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in close proximity to Kerala and really enjoyed their relatively milder spiced MUTTON, CHICKEN and FISH delicacies and the sumptuous "Unlimited THALI" (a potpourri of multiple curries served up with rice, paratha and biryani) over the weekends which is indeed a foodie's delight! They also serve staples like the DOSAS, IDLIS and also quite a selection of KOTTU PAROTTAs with veg, chicken and mutton flavors.Our favorites on their menu thus far have been the MUTTON (AATU KAAL) SOUP, the MUTTON SUKKA VARUVAL (served bon-in or boneless), the KANYAKUMARI FISH FRY (deep fried, spiced Pomfret) and their signature KONGU MUTTON/CHICKEN BIRYANI which is their interpretation of the iconic 'THALAPAKATTU MUTTON BIRYANI' with the very same Seeraga Samba Rice, but slight variations in the spice profiles.....highly recommended!We have enjoyed the authentic Coimbatore syle cuisine served up in this modest "hole-in-the-wall" in Irving, run by the humble, gentle and self-effacing ARUN GANESAN and his wife DHARINI who personally supervise the kitchen and ensure consistent quality as well as personalized customer service at competitive price points...all compelling reasons to check this establishment especially for those of us who miss KUMAR's MESS in Irving/Coppell.Check it out: THIRU KUPPUSWAMY ANAVAGAM 7447 N MacArthur Blvd Suite 150, Irving, TX 75063. Food was good, we ordered veg thali, veg biriyani, and paneer tikka masala. The food came out fast and service was okay as well. Ambiance was okay as well-- there are nice paintings/murals on the walls.

2 weeks ago, Jan 4, 2025. Dine was very good. But to-go item gobi 65 was burnt and had a metal piece in the box. Came in the mouth while eating, luckily didn't tear the tongue or mouth. Called twice to report. No one cared to call back. Callous attitude

Service is amazing, everything flows very well. Food is authentic. I ordered meal. This way I could taste little bit of everything.

We ordered kongu style briyani which was too good and it was served hot. Tiffin items were also good.our orders were served promptly without any delay.Nice to dine in at a place listening to all time favorite Tamil music numbers

Top notch service. Food was excellent. Had the non veg Thali and every item was delicious.
