Chill food, nice drinks, and great service while sitting in a cozy outdoor space? What more could you ask for?The food here isn't mind blowing by any stretch but it's good and reasonably priced. The drink menu is also fun and has some interesting concoctions.The thing that always impresses me about this place is the service. It's pretty big, and is almost always busy and yet the service is fast and responsive. The last time there, Rosario was our waitress and she did an incredible job. She always seemed to show up at the exact right moment or whenever we needed another drink. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often.

Their "pint" beers are served in a 12 oz plastic glass, so even at happy hour with a buck off $6-7 a "pint" prices it's not that great of a deal. Food was disappointing with a burrito bowl with a cup and a half of vegetable ingredients and maybe a table spoon and a half of shredded beef topping. Another sorry serving for $16. On top of that parking here sucks with the commercial lot full at 5pm and not emptying out, so figure on street parking 2-3 blocks away. Bartenders at back bar have a bit of attitude when asking about get real pint of beer.Another overly hyped place,I won't be back.

I was really upset for a bit because we waited for over an hour for a table and when the text came through that our table was ready, they said we had been removed from the list. The manager made it right and we will return.

Two big families met up here for the Holidays back in December. They sat 20 of us no problem. The beer, food and waitstaff were great. Outside heaters were definitely a plus. Both my parents loved the chili, even though it had beans. They aren't from Texas so it's okay.

It had been some years since eating here, so went in fir something new. Got the winter grain bowl. It was good, just expected more grains and less arugula. Hub got the burrito bowl and really enjoyed it.

Cool beer great food. Outside seating is the way to go. Short wait but parking is a bitch unless you want to pay to park.

It was a busy Saturday night, and we were fortunate enough to get seated right away. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The place sounded lively and packed. We ordered the popular nachos and added a brisket, it didn't disappoint. The brisket is really juicy and tender. It practically melts in your mouth. I also love the cheese sauce and the salsa. For the main course I ordered the adult grilled cheese, it had caramelized onion and bacon jam. It tasted interesting, it's just a little bit oily. The tomato soup that came with it was really good and creamy with the right amount of sweetness and the fresh basil that came with it made it complete. My son had the burger and he said he liked it, he did have to take out some pickles since it was over powering the taste. Hubby got the burrito bowl, he said it was okay and tasted very Tex-Mex.

Great spot! I was in town for a wedding and was looking for a spot to enjoy the weather before the ceremony. The Yard was the perfect spot. Large outdoor seating, great frozen drinks, TVs for sports people.

$5-$7 for 16oz Cold Draft Beer!! Sunday night 9pmish still had a good amount of people out on dates, eating with family, and more. Chill indoor outdoor place, upbeat funky jams, lively outdoor terrace space.. Great for pups, and small to larger groups. The outdoor place is fun with different leveled areas. Love love the design of the outdoor space! The many aged trees within the patio space really makes the outdoor vibe. Theres lots of heat lamps around, and shade from either umbrellas or trees. Beer cups are plastic. Must mean this place can get pretty crowded and rowdy? Fun place. It is less about a mile/22min stroll from Hutchin's BBQ. We ate bbq, and strolled off our food to Historic Downtown McKinney...full of a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Almost everything was closed on a Sunday 9pmish though.

The food was great! Came out fast and tasted top notch, highly recommend trying the brisket nachos. The yard burger comes with 2 patties and they are accommodating to some dietary restrictions so they do lettuce wrap. We started the the fried pickles which was delicious and my 4year old loved the kids quesadilla. The service was great sitting outside listening to great music under heaters for a colder day lunch was amazing, our server Rosario was great friendly,communicative, and super polite.
