The Villas of Ovilla

My husband and I stayed at the Villas and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Dallas area. The interior was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Every creature comfort was so well thought out and provided to the guests for their needs and enjoyment. Grooming aids, hair products , bath products anything you may have forgotten to bring are at your disposal. Sumptuous bedding and towels make you feel like you are at 5 star hotel. The master bedroom upstairs had a beautiful comfortable bed , a sitting room with a table to read and take morning coffee and a large bath with a claw foot tub. For those that love showers another bathroom provides that in addition to more bedrooms upstairs if you bring your family. The kitchen made you feel at home with everything you could need to cook a full meal or whip up breakfast and coffee. The innkeepers provided top notch snacks and lovely selection of breakfast foods and refreshments. My husband loved sitting in the warm and comfortable den with the exposed brick wall and French doors leading to a back porch. The exterior and grounds make you feel like you are in a fairytale. Lovely gardens, fairy lights, beautiful sitting areas and even a fire pit for making s'mores with fixings provided inside. We could not have felt more at home or cared for during our stay. We have traveled all over the world and would be hard pressed to find a lovelier place to stay anywhere.

We rented the Event Center for my daughter's graduation party and had the best experience from beginning to end! Highly recommended. The owner, Loreen, has incredible customer service, super friendly, and personable. The entire experience was easy and fun. Our party was absolutely perfect. We will definitely use the event center again!!

The guest house "villa" in Ovilla, TX, is a charming two-story Victorian home with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The décor was beautifully done, and had all the comforts of home. Downstairs has a full kitchen, half-bath, and luxurious TV/game room. We were fortunate to have the whole house to ourselves and just soaked in all the amazing Victorian atmosphere. Upstairs, the master bedroom suite had an adjoining room for relaxing or TV watching, with a master bath where a claw footed tub offered luxurious soaks. My husband was pleased to find an excellent shower in the other upstairs bathroom, just right for his super-sized physique. At night, the backyard can be enjoyed with lighting operated from the kitchen switch. Our hosts left food items for our breakfast in lots of variety; the morning light shining into the adjoining dining area was wonderful. We enjoyed side trips in the area to Waxahachie (15 minutes away), and West (about one hour away, but worth it for the kolaches!). One small side note: access to bedrooms on the second floor was by stairs only. We really enjoyed our stay and the kindness of our hosts, and would recommend the location highly.
