Wagyu 6oz hibachi $16.50, not cooked to specifications so a bit chewy, but great flavor. Ok hibachi rice, veggies were cold.
Beef hibachi w/steamed rice $10.95, not the most attractive presentation but flavor and texture of the beef were great! Veggies were cold

Ordered the Tofu Bowl with fried rice and cream sauce, and it was cooked amazingly! The tofu was perfectly crispy and crunchy, truly quality over quantity. The fried rice was good, and the cream sauce, recommended by the employee and a friend, added a nice touch. Overall, a satisfying meal!

We have been to a ton of hibachi places. Most of them are pretty standard with the fried rice and respective meat dish. The great thing about hibachi is that it is usually consistent, the bad is that it usually lacks any originality. The Saucy Hibachi lacked all of that. Ordered the steak with fried rice. The steak quality was borderline Taco Bell quality steak and the fried rice was soggy. We tried to eat it right after we ordered and it was almost unedible. The only reason I would give it 2 stars is because the outdoor area itself is great. Save your money, eat around Denton Square and then come to this area for drinks.

I get takeout from The Saucy Hibachi probably every other week, I love this food truck. My go-to is the Chicken Fried Rice Bowl w/ Cream Sauce. Usually only about a 10-15 minute wait before pickup, not bad at all. The people who work in there are always pretty chill too.

My coworkers and I stopped by the Austin Street Truck Stop at lunch to see what was available. Decided on The Saucy Hibachi as we had never had it before. Ordered the jumbo shrimp entree. Shrimp was very tasty and felt like a really large portion which is always exciting. Personally, I would have loved to see more vegetables and less rice but I realize I'm probably in the minority with that opinion! We weren't in any rush so the time was not an issue for us, but if you need a quick lunch option I would order ahead with an app and pick it up. With all the online orders coming in, and just the normal cook times, it did take some time to order, get food, and eat it.Oh yeah! I didn't snap a photo but the jalapeño chicken dippers were very good and their cream sauce is delicious!

We ordered off UberEats last month. I'm always excited for a hibachi option, even though I knew it would be different from a food truck. Still seems like a fun concept. The delivery time was reasonable and it arrived ahead of schedule. The menu is small and simple. You choose between hibachi beef, chicken, tofu, shrimp or wagyu steak, price ranges from $8.50 to $20.50. You get your choice of steamed or hibachi rice and it comes with veggies. They list sliders on the menu on their website, but I didn't know it at the time because it wasn't listed on the delivery site. They offer two appetizers- shrimp dippers and jalapeno chicken dippers (which looked like egg rolls compared to the shrimp looking battered and fried) which are both $5.95.We ordered the beef hibachi with steamed rice for $10.95 and the wagyu with hibachi rice for $16.50. The beef didn't look very attractive compared to the wagyu but it was the winner in my opinion. The seasoning was great, it was cooked as ordered, it was a decent value for the portion and I thought it tasted really good. The wagyu was undercooked, so it had a chewy texture. It still had a good flavor though, nice presentation but I didn't really think it was better or worth more than the beef. Perhaps if we try it again, cooked as ordered, we will feel differently. As for the other items, they didn't really hold up to the meat. The steamed rice was okay, the hibachi rice was a little too soft, the veggies were really cold and hard which bummed me out. The portions won't really fill you up, so I would try them when you're getting hungry but not starving. My husband ate all of his wagyu and was still hungry. You definitely need to eat this as soon as you get it as the containers start to get soft and lose shape. I wouldn't open the sauce until you are ready to use it and throw out the rest. The cardboard gets hot and warps so the lid won't go back on at all and will start spilling. That's a big disappointment when you're not prepared, so just an FYI. I found the sauce to be on the salty side for my preference. We were left with an okay impression but I would definitely try it again just because the beef tasted so, so good. Maybe we'll try the chicken instead of the wagyu. Hopefully the rice and veggies will be better executed next time and I can add a star.

not sure why i had to wait over an hour for my food to be ready, but the food was so good that i completely forgot about it when i started eating. i ordered the crispy tofu entree, and the shrimp and chicken dippers. the dippers came out fresh, very crispy and soft in the right places. i wasn't sure what kind of sauce they served it with, but it was a very complementary pairing. the serving sizes were great as well, not too much but not too little.

We stumbled upon a hidden gem looking for food on Sunday around Denton square. This food truck was the only one open among a town of them behind Eastside. We got the beef and shrimp bowl. The beef bowl is so full of meat where as the shrimp bowl quantity is much smaller. The flavor is amazing and their Ginger and Cream sauces where perfect compliments to the bowls. We tried the shrimp dippers on our first visit and they were a twist on crab Rangoon - a shrimp with cream cheese wrapped in a wonton wrapper and fried crispy...delicious!!! We were sad on our second visit when they were already sold out of shrimp dippers but our bowls did not disappoint. Highly recommend giving them a try if you enjoy hibachi....better than some big restaurants I've been too.
