Wow, what an incredible visit to Sanford House. Sanford House is stunning in every detail. Since it was the holidays, Sanford House was decorated in a spectacular way. There were holiday decorations everywhere we looked.For my wife's birthday, we decided to dine at Restaurant 506 for brunch. We figured on a weekday and early it wasn't going to be crowded. Boy were we wrong, around 30 minutes after we arrived, the restaurant was almost full. I am so glad we had reservations. From the time we arrived until we left, service was top-notch and so professional.My wife is a loved of chicken salad so of course she ordered the chicken salad sandwich accompanied with house-made potato chips. I ordered the chicken flautas. The menu description sounded really good.After a nice wait where we could take in all the beauty around us, our entrees were delivered to our table. Each of our entrees were almost works of art. My wife said her chicken salad sandwich was one of the best she's ever had. On to my chicken flauta platter. As a true lover of TexMex food, deep down inside, I was kind of reluctant to order flautas at a non-TexMex establishment. Was I surprised! The flautas were incredible. They were literally some of the most delicious I've ever eaten. Phenomenal!To finish off our delightful brunch experience at Restaurant 506, we ordered dessert, Crème brûlée & Egg Nog Bread Pudding. Wow, total perfection. I wish there was a way to give our visit 10 stars here on Yelp, but 5 is the best I can do. We will definitely head back to Sanford House real soon. Who knows we may book a weekend there in one of the cottages.

My experience is based off our Christmas event. And I was in awe of the beauty of The Sanford House. Our event was held outside in the courtyard and was decorated spectacularly for Christmas. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit! I have already recommended their BnB to my family coming in for Christmas.

I came here for our end of the year Yelp event. They definitely catered to us and were great hosts. We were in the huge outside pavilion area, and we also had a little room in the pavallion area that was heated. They also had heaters outside so that you could be toasty if you hung out in the pavilion. I appreciated that they had bathrooms outside and also inside the room by the pavilion. So that we were comfortable and didn't have to walk back to the hotel/restaurant area. In the room off the pavilion, had plenty of cookies, hot cocoa, and a few adult beverages. The staff was super friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. It was beautifully decorated, and Yelp brought Santa and an artist to do caricatures. I had lots of fun, and I was grateful I was able to bring my husband and daughter. The parking by the hotel/inn is very limited but they have parking across the street, so you just have to be aware that if the small parking is full you have to turn around to get to the parking lot across the street. As be careful, walking across the street because it can be busy.

I was impressed by this place from the moment I walked in the doors - literally. My husband and I reserved the Regency Cottage as we got an AMAZING deal and it was within walking distance of Arlington Stadium (we were there to see Beyonce and didn't want to deal with parking or driving back to Carrollton late at night). When you walk in there is a beautiful restaurant to the right and left of you and a lovely staircase. The person who checked us in was wonderfully pleasant and she told us they were offering a shuttle to and from the concert. She even said my brother and his girlfriend, who weren't staying at the hotel, could take the shuttle as well. The shuttle wasn't free but, OMG, what an amazing benefit for staying at the hotel!The Regency Cottage was gorgeous and more than I could have imagined. As soon as my husband and I walked in I told him we had to come back for a staycation. The cottage included a living area, a separate area with a daybed, desk and kitchenette (with utensils, coffee maker and even creamer and two water bottles in the refrigerator). There were also two cookies wrapped on a small plate on the desk which you could tell were homemade. My husband ended up eating them both so I can't speak on how they tasted (little stinker). There was a separate room where the king size bed was and through another doorway was a very LARGE bathroom with a soaking tub and two robes that were hung up. It also included a separate shower.The most impressive part of the Inn was by far the courtyard. It has a fountain, a couple of pergolas with shaded seating and tons of outside seating and tables around it. It was a perfect area to sit outside after dinner and enjoy an after dinner drink or a glass of wine. We will definitely be back and will be taking advantage of the included breakfast (served from 8:30 - 9:30am), the restaurant and the relaxing courtyard in the evening. The prices are so reasonable that if you are staying in the area you don't want to miss the experience of staying at this one-of-a-kind hotel!

Stanford House Inn is a cute little venue hidden in surprising area of Arlington. We visited during the holidays for an event and it was very well decorated. Santa and Mrs Clause had stopped by for a visit, there was someone doing caricatures, and the restaurant seemed to be busy! Our event was in a nice little location in the courtyard, which was wonderful for a small private event. I would for sure recommend it for a small party be it for a birthday, baby shower or graduation. The staff they had working the small bar inside that building were friendly and gave amazing suggestions. The only real complain I could even stretch out is parking, but that is due to it being more in a neighborhood. The inn itself only has a very small parking lot but the salon that they also own across the street makes up for it has plenty of parking.

What a beautiful place. The Sanford House Inn is a wonderful hotel, which expands to individual rental cottages, and delicious restaurant and bar. Valerie runs a tight ship filled with gorgeous decor and friendly faces. I'll be returning someday soon to test the supper menu.

I very much enjoyed my visit to The Sanford House. I attended a holiday gathering. The inn was very beautifully decorated. We enjoyed beverages from the bar and delicious cookies. The property also has several cottages and other guest accommodations as well as a spa. I definitely want to come back and visit the spa next time.

Such a darling little place! Walking on their middle ground patio I felt like I was in another county! So cute, forest like feel.Completely unique design and a great place to possibly do a small wedding ceremony at.I came today for a yelp event. They were taking donations for family's in need for the holidays. My reason I cannot give 5 stars is I never saw a room however everything else was quite adorable.My husband got a Bloody Mary and said it was one of the best he has had! I had a memosa, pretty standard in my opinion. Would have been nice for it to be garnished or have a fruit dropped in.My kids got to meet Santa. They had hot chocolate with all the toppings they could ask for.Thank you Yelp for my pie!!

Santa is town at Sanford!!Yelp Elite had a very special charity event here and we were very lucky to be put on Santa's list!!The venue (house) itself is gorgeous and the decorations were so festive and amazing. I'm in LOVE with their courtyard, even with the rainy weather, it was perfect as they have a lot of covered patios. Hubby and I had the Bloody Mary and Hibiscus Lemonade Mimosa. Delishhhhh....the bartender was great and I'm glad I took his recommendation on the Mimosa.Happy 10th Anniversary with this Adopt A Family event Yelp!! Great turnout and Kendall is fabulous as always!!
