They really brought things back around! New style of fries are unique and much better. Veggie burger, while basic, is also good. Pleasantly surprised!

If you enjoy solid grub and solid scenic overlooks this will be your spot! Enter from the main entrance or the quicker 'back entrance' way. The back winds around and then up towards the nature store and inside area where there is a little petting zoo with goats. I really enjoyed coming here on my way home from my trail race. It's a fun stop and you can do it along with exploring Fossil Rim. You can come without checking the park though free of charge. They have smaller single snack serving plate (veggies, hummus, cheese etc) or sandwiches and full meals. The sweet tea was pretty good and they also have hot chocolate for the kiddos, coffees, fountain drinks. Even on a rainy day I saw families and people coming to enjoy the overlook in the back. They have an area to sightsee and get views of the animals from the top. A must see if you are in the Glen Rose and Fossil Rim area.

I do not get the 2.5 star rating it currently has. We had a good experience with food reasonably priced, especially considering the venue.We ordered chicken sandwich, patty melt and grilled cheese sammy. All the food came with drinks (canned Pepsi products) or water. Accompanying chips were either Doritos or Lays classic and baked. The cost was 6 bucks for kids meal and 9 for adults.Staff was nice and the food came out in good time. Due to pandemic we found seating outside where they had benches, well spaced.While you are here you don't have any other options for food so they could totally stiff you but they don't imo. All of our food tasted fine, nothing special but we liked it. Its a solid 3.5 stars rounded up.

Stopped here while driving through the park seeing the animals. It's a cute little place with a somewhat limited menu. But it provides a nice break when you want to get out of your car and have something cool to drink and some food. I just had a grilled cheese, (with Fries of coarse). In fact all of us had grilled cheese that day if my memory serves me right. People should not expect a five star dining experience. And by that I mean it isn't upscale. What it is though is a cute little cafe, that you can go to, to take a break during your drive through Fossil Rim and also get something to eat.The view is quite nice and we were glad to come here as we spent a long time here and it was nice to get out of the car and get a little rocket fuel! And frankly we were hungry.And it does beat eating in your car. Friendly staff as well.

Located at the halfway mark of Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, you'll find a cute little cafe with an amazing view of the park. Don't expect anything fancy in the decor or the food, the view is the main attraction here. My friend and I came in early on a Saturday so there was not a crowd. We were greeted promptly and the staff was friendly enough. Prices for food were a bit high but seeing as how it helps with the upkeep of the animals, l get it. But man, I couldn't get over the drink prices. I settled for a bottled water. The chicken philly sandwiches that we got were tasty. The view is wonderful and it was such a nice day to sit outside on the covered balcony. There were quite a few birds flying around and chirping about. It was just a very enjoyable place to have a quick bite before heading out for the second half of your adventure. I would stop by again on future visits to the park.

We had a wonderful experience . I ordered a burger and my hubs got a patty melt. Both deliciousOur kiddos got a grilled cheese, burger and pb and j. All wonderful. The staff was very accommodating.

I was at the park and happened to be at the Cafe. Might have avoided the place if I had checked the reviews. But now I am glad I didn't. I order the Junior Cheese Burger while my wife tried a veggie burger. The lady at the counter was sweet and the remaining staff were friendly. We sat outside and the view was just perfect. As we waited couple of exotic looking small birds flew to the tables next to us. The burgers were cooked well and so were the fries. Food appeared affordable too

Overpriced and horrible quality. Peanut butter and jelly is made with expired and separated peanut butter. When I went to complain about it and let them know the response was, once it has been bitten into, we cannot take it back or switch it to something else. Take your food into this place which obviously gets zero health inspection and don't waste your money and health here.

Yummy grilled cheese and crinkle fries, but best of all you overlook Fossil Rim's giraffe pasture. Great lunch spot. Accessible halfway through the park or you can go to the back entrance if you just want to do lunch.

Just tried to order a snack ( a bag of chips and grapes) for my son. Waited more then 20+ minutes before deciding it wasn't worth waiting so we just left and never got the food.......... Won't waste time next time trying to stop here.
