The Meat Shop

I have had this bookmarked for a while and was excited to try - I love it when butcher shops offer freshly made sandwiches.  They have a really nice backyard with picnic tables, a big screen TV and fans.  We ordered the brisket sandwich (Comes with pimento cheese) It was about $13.  We also grabbed some smoked potato salad out of the cooler (though I didn't really taste any smoke).  The sandwich is made panini style and they really committed to the pressing of the sandwich with full grill marks.  It was a really good sandwich - though I would say it really could have used more filling overall - more meat and more cheese.  My man and I split it - but with the current fillings - we could have easily both eaten a whole one.  Excited to come back and try the pastrami reuben and the kobe beef hot dog.

So it's not true, everything is not bigger in Texas...but these sandwiches were on the smaller side but pretty good. While visiting friends in Dallas, was looking for a quick, easy option for lunch. The meat shop was very close by so we called and ordered sandwiches to go, which were ready rather quickly. I had the smoked steak sandwich while my friends both had the turkey. The steak was tender, but I couldn't really taste the aioli and the other condiments....think it needed a little salt. The other 2 really like the turkey which was on brioche. My first choice was the Reuben and I kind of wish I ordered that. Anyway, I'd give it another shot if back in the area.

Great find! Was in the area grocery shopping and decided to try this place out. Small butcher but great selection. Picked up some Venison & Pork sausages, Wagyu hotdogs and some Steakcon. All for around $20 bucks and well worth it. They also serve food - next time for sure

Great brisket sandwich can't get better than this! Juicy and best on the menu! Definitely recommend trying it out. Place is small and cute we always just eat on the outside chairs in the back great for a quick bite. Service is fast and friendly.

This place kicks ass! My boyfriend loved going here for the Wagyu beef Pattie's and rib eye, plus all of the sides to go with it. We tried the brisket sandwich, Rueben, and steak sandwich. All were sooo good and they all came with a pickle. We also ordered the scalloped potatoes, green beans, and pimento cheese. He went in both times to pick up our order and he was a big fan. Friendly service, cool vibes.

Make sure and try their briskest hoagie sandwich best in the city! I eat here every time I'm in the area!

I crave the brisket sandwich a lot. It is just right. The sides are good. Haven't gotten any of the other take home food or meats but it all looks good. I live 30 mins away and have driven in 3 times to get that sandwich.

Hands down the best steaks and meat shop in DFW! Come here for all your hard to find cuts of meat and the best service around. Pony up!

Stopped in for the first time and was recommended to get the brisket hoagie and it was phenomenal. Definitely want to try the other sandwiches, sides also looked amazing for grab and go.

The food and services are top notch, along with the care for connecting with the customer.
