We just joined this club. Haven't gone to lot of social events yet but we love this club so far. My kids love the kids club. Chef Hernandez is amazing cook. The food is always delicious. This pic was from last year, my favorite salad. I like that there is annual Daddy and Daughter Dance. I hope there will be annual Mother and Son event in the future like the one in Glen Eagle.

My husband and I absolutely love the club. He's a big golfer and this club is ranked as one of the top in Texas. The service has been top notch and they welcomed us by name within the first week of us joining. There are so many amazing programs for our kiddos- golf/swim/fitness/family nights. The facilities are kept in wonderful shape - they even got new carts this week! Thank you to Jordan for all your help getting us acquainted and being such a rockstar!! We appreciate you!!

This lake was beautiful. Small, but beautiful. It had a curved bridge over the lake and at another point of the lake, there's a short bridge that leads to a small patch of land too. There were so many ducks/geese there too. More than I've seen at any park in awhile. When I went on a Sunday evening, there was a good amount of people sitting on lawn chairs, laying on blankets, fishing, and walking/running/biking! It felt very peaceful. There was also a very nice view of the sunset. I'd highly recommend visiting this lake!

I used to have a lifetime membership to this course. We got it when we moved into Castle Hills 17 1/2 years ago. It had a stipulation that we kept the membership even if sold to a private club. Well that did not happen and lost it and the money we paid. There went many of us and you would think to the "owners" would not have been a big deal. It has improved since going private but all my family gets to do now is look at it. It has been a real bummer to have castle hills and the Bright ownership group let this happen. I used to love going out towards end of day and play whatever I could get it.

Throughout covid its been really encouraging to see how many individuals and companies have stepped up to do whats fair and all will be considered in terms of future business with them. I cannot however say this for The Lakes at Castle Hills and would STRONGLY recommend against anyone ever being a part of this "country club". TLCH and Chris Bright should be absolutely ASHAMED of themselves. They have zero empathy or understanding during these times and didn't even as much as DECREASE (really the dues shouldve been waived considering there is breach of contract because payment is made for services that were not rendered) monthly dues for almost 3 months we were unable to utilize our membership. I pay monthly for the social membership (on top of a hefty initiation fee I paid) which I keep for conference room access, dining hall (luncheon or happy hour meetings) the gym, pool, and social events. I have had access to ZERO of those things and they still have charged my full almost $250/month dues! They respond by saying they are giving a $100 credit on food and beverage. EXCEPT get this...it cant be applied toward gratuity (18%) or taxes. SO basically they are "giving" you the opportunity to spend at LEAST another $25 on top of the full amount of monthly dues they are charging for no services rendered. The manager Tim is highly disrespectful, extremely combative and has no sense of client appreciation. I own a sports marketing and ad agency and In the last two years as a member there I have sent OVER $75k of business to them with celebrity golf tournament contracts, introduced them to others who have contributed and donated alcohol for social events as well as recruiting new paying members. They say "if we discount or waive dues for you we have to do that for all social memberships" YEAH YOU SHOULD! we are paying for NOTHING. we pay to receive services that we have not received even one of! Tim says "well this is a private club and we have fixed costs we have to cover" which is really funny considering another member raised over $7k to donate to employees throughout this time. Highly disappointing and I will never send a single lick of business their way and make sure all of my friends/media contacts etc know how highly unethical this BOGUS operation is. Over $700 down the drain for NOTHING!

Came in to test brunch in anticipation of joint the club as members and were met by the club manager who provided us with member sales information. Our server was personable, and made us feel so welcome. I opted for the brunch buffet and there was a large selection of fresh food including eggs Benedict, a carving station with prime rib, fresh salad bar, desserts, and soups. All I tasted were quite good, although the poached egg on the eggs Benedict was slightly over done.

I am doing a quick review. The Lakes has been completely renovated as of May 2015 and it's bright and gorgeous. There are several dining options for members - it's private. Our new Chef Salvadore has Chefs Table specials and we have a new wine expert Edwin. Food is delicious and there is a great variety as well as many healthy options.

We used to be members here. The reviews seem to be up and down, but I believe it has recently become a members only club, which I don't think it was before. Either way, I always enjoyed this course. Not the most lush, but greens and fairways were always well kept. Can get windy being Texas, has a very scary water hole (either 1 or 10, I think they have switched it) and lots of terantula looking spiders in the rough so be careful! Still I always enjoyed this course.

Just joined in November, so far a great experience, just moved membership from Four Seasons, Kevin Golding and his staff are very good about introducing me to other golfers, course not crowded, staff and members very friendly, excellent course, range and short game conditions, best club sandwich I have had, have yet to try out dinner menu, LuAnn Dillman was great to work with on signing on.
