I'm so impressed with this place. Talking about hidden gems, this place has made it to the top of the list after my first visit. This is mostly due to the level of attention to detail given to everything, from the food, service, decor, music, dish ware, seating, etc. They understood the assignment with this one. There is limited seating between the lengthy bar and several tables, but I enjoyed this aspect as it made the experience feel more upscale and intimate. We were seated at a table and offered recommendations from the waitress as it was our first time. The staff did a fantastic job at finding the perfect balance between being attentive but not overbearing, while also being direct and thorough when communicating. For the appetizers, we ordered the Rock Shrimp and Brussel Sprouts per the recommendations and our personal tastes. Both exceeded our expectations. The flavor, texture, and presentation on everything was unique in the best way.For drinks, we ordered the Golden Hour and a Lychee Martini. Once again, they hit it out of the park with both of these. We were also loving the presentation on the drinks, in addition to how smooth they tasted. For the main course, we ordered the Signature Tempaki Combo and an assortment of other hand rolls, including the Spicy Tuna, Snow Crab, Wagyu, Unagi, and more. All of them were delicious and beautifully prepared. Safe to say, we can't wait to come back again!

Compared to the other handroll places that I've tried in the Dallas area, this one definitely has very different vibe. The furnitures, the green accent wall, and also the service gives you a more upscale experience from your regular handroll bar.I ordered the Japanese snapper nigiri and the signature handrolls. My two favorite of the night were the chilli scallops and the kampachi fruits (i love how you can really taste the shiso leaves in this one!)Overall i thought the quality of the fish that they serve was great. I liked the different flavors that they offered for each handroll. Our waitress said that they make all their sauces in house! With that being said though, because they add a lot of different components to their handrolls, I find that it can get a bit overwhelming and I don't taste the fish as much. I think I prefer simplicity and being able to savor the taste of the seafood in my handrolls.

We found out about Klass via Instagram as a new sushi handroll spot in the DFW area. Our waitress, Hikaru, took such great care of us. She provided terrific service and even offered great recommendations for us to order. It isn't easy to get this high-quality sushi at a reasonable price. My friend and I ordered the recommended signature handroll combo and a variety of other bites. Our favorite dishes were the Brussels sprouts, Uni, Toro, and the Chili Scallop hand roll. For both of us the Chili Scallop handroll took the #1 spot. One area of improvement for this spot:1. Cocktails could use a boost of booze. I had the highball, which was way too sweet for a proper highball. A highball should be balanced but still have that whiskey kick. Here's my thing, though - I am not going to complain about a $10 drink because in today's high inflationary environment it's pretty tough to find a $10 drink. I will definitely be back in the near future. Do yourself a favor and call to make a reservation. The spot is kinda small so you will want to have a reservation.

WHAT I ORDERED: Signature Temaki (5 handrolls), Rock Shrimp, Sweet Corn, Uni TemakiPARKING: Parking lotINSIDE: Bar seating and limited tables, recommend bar seating as you get to see the chef prepare each handroll and I appreciated the chef asking about how much wasabi we like and adjusted the amount to our preference. Water was refilled constantly and the staff checked in with frequently. Great vibes!THE FOODS: The rock shrimp was good but nothing special so that could be skipped but make sure to order the sweet corn. It was roasted nicely and had a good amount of butter to complement the natural sweetness of the corn. The signature combo came with 5 hand rolls which included Tuna Poke, Kampachi Fruits, Chili Scallop, Coconut Shrimp, and Seabass. Each of the fish were fresh and flavors were well balanced. My favorites would have to be the chili scallop temaki and uni temaki, the uni just melted in my mouth.

Super affordable for upscale, delicious sushi and friendly staff. It's definitely different from the traditional sushi places, which I was super excited for. There are so many sushi restaurants opening around dfw and I'm so glad that this one was different. The interior is completely different from a typical Handroll/sushi bar and looks more like a super cute and classy speakeasy bar. Highly recommend the rock shrimp appetizer, the golden hour cocktail, chili scallop, crunch unagi, and kanpachi fruit temaki! The flavors are different from traditional sushi as they take their own spin on it and a lot of them have that citrus and herb flavor profiles which I really enjoy. I will be back and bringing others with me!

I came here for a birthday dinner on a Friday night, and I was treated so so well. The location is right off the royal lane next to 9 Rabbits Bakery. Parking is tight, so you may have to park a little far. Once you walk in, you'll be blown away. It's a small restaurant so I recommend making reservations. I sat at the bar because I wanted to see the chef make the rolls. Chef Jay was exceptional!! He was personable and engaging. Also, all the servers were so kind, and I told the bartender to make me a surprise cocktail, which was delicious! The crab handroll is by far the best cooked item on the menu. Everything was phenomenal, though, from all the raw items and cooked. The appetizers were different but delicious. If you ever come here, sit at the bar and enjoy the experience!

This place is wild. The decor is more like a speakeasy-- velvet chairs. Velvet bar stools. Dark green walls with gilded picture frames. The staff is super helpful and attentive. They were wonderful, especially the guy making our handrolls. The handrolls were layered and complex. Each one that I ate had several layers of flavor, which was a marked departure from what I normally get.The cocktail menu was uh...not written by someone who likes cocktails. It was entertaining.I'll be back!

Made a reservation about a month back via the phone for Mother's Day. Called a few times to confirm but no reply. We ended up going anyway and it looks like they are closed permanently. No sign, no message, nothing. Sad to see that the place is closed but very unprofessional to simply shut down without any warning or notice.

Aesthetically, it looks amazing. The flavor, however, was just not there for me. My parents and I agreed that none of them had that "wow" factor. It kinda started to all taste the same at the end haha. I'm glad that I came to try it, but this just isn't the type of place that I would crave and wanna come again.

This place stands out amongst a sea of disappointing sushi joints in DFW that serve westernized "rolls" drenched in spicy mayo and eel sauce, masking the lack of fish quality.Great ambiance, service, and most importantly, food. Tried ~8 of their handrolls, all of which were fantastic. Started off with one of their combos which was comprised of more simple handrolls (salmon avocado, yellowtail scallion, etc) where the quality of fish stood out; then moved onto handrolls such as with a bit more depth which were also very good. I felt that sauces used in these rolls were relatively sophisticated. Vegetable tempura plate was notable as well - extra crispy & reminiscent of tempura sold in the far east. Appreciated the head chef and waitress who made the experience even more enjoyable.
