My roommate and I were looking to try a new Chinese place and came across The China Express. We were trying to get delivery but their website stated that due to accuracy issues that delivery was disabled. This was a little concerning but we ordered pickup instead. We got an order of Crab Rangoon $4.99 for 4pcs, Fried Dumplings $4.99 for 8 pcs, Egg Drop Soup $2.99, Hot & Sour Soup $2.99, Combination Mei Fun $15.99 and Sesame Chicken with Steamed Rice $14.99. The Rangoon were not good at all, they lacked filling and were very tough. The dumplings are pan fried and taste great flavor wise. They were not crispy at all, most likely due to the steam from picking it up but still tasted good. The soups were both generic and okay. The Sesame Chicken was not crispy at all, got super soggy and the steamed rice was tough and not very good either, very disappointing. The Combination Mei Fun on the other hand was a good portion size and very tasty. The shrimp stood out as very plump and bigger than most Chinese places give. So overall, it is okay, I would go back but may need to try some other things or stick to certain dishes.

This is the only place in DFW I drive to to get Chinese food. I always get shrimp & broccoli w/ garlics sauce and spicy. The owner knows who I am and is the nicest guy ever. I think he does everything on his own. Really nice guy! Really nice small place.

The rice was over cooked and dry. The chicken egg roll bland, but the chicken wings Chillllle let me tell ya.... SEASONED TO THE BONE. I'll definitely order the wings again.

Great take out food and excellent customer service. I literally ordered like 6 different items and everything was absolutely delicious!I'm quite picky when it comes to Chinese takeout, but this place has it down. Tender and juicy chicken and sauces that are full of flavor. Support this local business. They need us and they are worth it!!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would ... it is sooo delicious I will never go to any other place for takeout. I was craving a warm soup and ordered a wonton soup it is now my FAVORITE! Definitely recommend. We ordered Sweet and sour chicken Mix veg shrimp Beef brócoliFried rice lo-mein Wonton soup. EVERYTHING WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION

The food that I ordered was wonderful. I was looking for wings and shrimp fried rice because I haven't had any worth eating since I moved here. I had the General Tso's chicken, fried rice, and an order of crab Rangoon. The lunch portion was the perfect size at a good price, and everything was delicious. The owner is friendly, and the service is quick. I'll definitely be back.
