The Break Room Brewing Company - Cleburne

The Break Room in Cleburne was impressive with the excellent food, wait staff, and live music ! I decided on chicken fried steak, green beans and sweet potato fries. WOW, glad I was hungry. They serve alcohol so vodka and cranberry juice was my selection since we had a designated driver. The establishment was crowded but well worth the wait and I will definitely be going back!Santa was there to hear any of the last-minute children's request. What fun!!The Break Room has a very large parking area for us newcomers, and all of the regular customers. I recommend you take a break from cooking dinner and let these folks impress you with their steaks, shrimp, burgers and more. I must say I like to see the owner walk around and greet customers, chatting with the regulars, and making you feel at home whether you're eating or sitting at the bar having a drink.The Break Room at 4001 Tx 174 in Cleburne Texas has my approval !Thanks Tresa and Paul for invite to dinner !

Service was great and our waiter stayed on top of drinks . The food is just ok! I had ordered catfish and. It wasn't cooked all the way so took what was not cooked home and heated it up . Just for your info I learned to never send food back it doesn't matter what it's for . Really this place is more for drinks and appetizers

Five star food and staff!! Hands down one of the top 3 grilled chicken sandwiches I have had in my life. Sourdough bun was toasted to perfection. Sandwich seasoned and fresh. The sweet potato fries were seasoned and so addictive. Hubby got the BLT and crinkle fries. Loaded with bacon. Fries seasoned and perfectly crunchy. This place knows how to season and cook food! I would go back any day.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while out on the road. Extra bonus, they have a couple of their own brews on tap, including a very nice session IPA. Nice diner menu, with burgers, sandwiches, and dinner plates. We opted for cheeseburgers, even had a choice of jalapeno sourdough, reg. sourdough, or plain bun. Chose fries and onion rings for the sides, and everything was very good and tasty. Lots of places do the sides as an afterthought, but this place doesn't have that problem. The burger meat itself looked like hand formed patties, and were very good!Our server was friendly and welcoming, and service was fast and efficient. Place looked like a good place to hang out, plenty of locals, and families were there. Staff was aggressively cleaning the whole time we were there. Large patio out back, but Texas summer kept us in the A/C!

It was okay. The chicken wings were crispy and hot. No celery or carrot sticks. WTF? I asked the waitress why, she said I'd have to talk to the manager. I asked him, he said I'd have to talk to the owner The wait staff don't appear to be trained. Ordered items forgotten, plates and settings needed to be requested. The place wasn't busyThis place could be so much better

We went here recently because it says it's a Brewing Company, tho upon entering, we find out it's just a name. They don't brew their own beers. They do offer beer and a full bar, they have a decent menu, but if you are looking for craft beer made in house, this isn't the place. The food was decent. Nothing to really write home about. Samplings were small compared to the prices. The inside is very rustic, old farm house decor. If I recall, there is a pond in the back with seating. They do have a spot for live bands, so that's cool. It was worth trying, tho it wasn't good enough on our palette to make the return trip.

Our meal was delicious! (Burgers, fries, meatloaf, amazing sourdough bread) Our server was kind and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing.

Stopped by on a Monday night during a camping trip to Cleburne State Park. It was 105 that day, so we dragged in like a bunch of hot hillbillies. There is a small bar as you enter the building, and dining is on the left. There is also a patio, but 105 degrees and and patio aren't combinations we like to entertain. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was nice. We ordered the porkchops with grilled veggies and a salad; a cheeseburger; a small catfish platter; and the shrimp scampi pasta. Everything was delicious except the shrimp pasta. No flavor at all on this one. I also didn't care much for the grilled vegetables because they lacked any sort of seasoning and were very oily. However, the pork chops are definitely a must try and the burger was excellent!! Ranch is legit (homemade) so that was a plus for us as well!Would definitely return!

Absolutely love it here. Sitting outside with the kids is the perfect ambience as they can run around and visit the fish in the pond . The food is GREAT and amazing portions. Texas sized! The chips n queso and margaritas are phenomenal. Never had any issue with service. Laid back and nice

Ok been wanting to stop in this place because their flags outside advertise BEER & RIBEYES lolWelp we stopped in early on a Wednesday, we didn't get ribeyes (the prime rib had just finished cooking too and we didn't get that either ) BUT we did beers and fried catfish and OH MAN was that catfish guuuddd!! We also got the pretzels & queso as an appetizer and it was very good! Maybe like a sourdough pretzel & very good cheesy queso & not queso like the fake nachos queso. Service was awesome as our bartender was really courteous and knowledgeable about their menu! We are definitely going back and trying the ribeyes next time! They've got TV's around showing all major sporting events too!
