Thai's Thumbz Dallas

First time being here for lunch. We were greeted right away and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. Plenty of tables and booths to choose from. Our server was very attentive and polite. The food came out rather quickly, hot and delicious. Recommend the steamed dumplings!

Went to have lunch here and try what's on their menu. They opened about a month ago. The first and original Thai's Thumbz was opened 12 years ago in Richardson. Still doing great business there. They opened their second restaurant here near Tian Tian off Preston Rd. We've been to many Thai places in the Metroplex, looking for an authentic and legit Thai food place. Finally, we found it through the food we ordered; Pad Thai, Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad), chicken satay and mango with sweet sticky rice. The Chef/Owner guaranteed that their food was prepared from scratch using fresh and organic ingredients. Service is great and the place is very clean and visibly decorated.

Pure deliciousness!! I was introduced to the one in Richardson by my Thai co-worker several years ago. I happened to see the Dallas location one by accident(I was going to Shiraz Mediterranean 2 doors down). I got there right after it opened for lunch(11am-2pm). It was not busy. It's very airy and spacious inside and nicely decorated. I've been jonesing to eat here, so I came here very hungry. I already studied the menu prior to arrival, so I knew what I wanted to try. I started out with Thai ice tea to drink. For appetizer, I ordered Shrimp cake. They came with plum sauce. They were so delicious! For entree, I ordered shrimp paste garlic fried rice. It was so delicious! I wanted to try their soup, so I ordered a cup(it was a big cup!)of Tom Kha with tofu. It's very flavorful, but I had to take it to go along with shrimp from fried rice as I was getting full. My server, nice young lady was very friendly and attentive. Everything I ordered was so delicious!! I think this is the best Thai food I've ever tasted aside from My Thai(now closed)I used to go in Queens, NY when I used to live there. I'd love to come here for dinner next time. I highly recommend it!

Great Thai food with good service. The ambiance is relaxed but nice, but the highlight is the food.One of the best Pad Thai I've ever had, and the family had the Panang Curry and Drunken noodles, both of which were excellent.Definitely recommended.

Locals, come & try some great Thai food! We're longtime regulars at the Richardson location and found ourselves on this part of town, so we decided to compare. They've only been open a few weeks and the food is as good as ever! My favorite is the Drunken Noodles with Chicken (medium spicy...just the right kick, maybe even a bit tame). We also got the cashew chicken and the crispy egg rolls...both top notch. The wait staff was attentive & nice, we love the addition of booths, and we appreciate the choice of music and the peaceful atmosphere. This location is off to a great start!

My first experience here was amazing! I went for lunch with my son. I had the Chicken Tom Kha soup and asked for extra veggies in the soup and they generously agreed to do that. It was a small upcharge, but so worth it. The soup was delicious. I got "hot" and it was just the right amount of heat. The chicken was perfectly cooked and very tender. The flavor is fabulous. This place is BYOB and I will definitely be returning for dinner soon. It's close to home and a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent and very accommodating. So glad to have you in our neighborhood.

Give a thumb up for Thai's thumbz!!!! Food was delicious especially Pad woonsen ( stir fried glass noodle) test just like you eat in Thailand.We also order Pad Prik khing and Masaman curry those are turned out very good as well. Highly recommend for everyone who love authentic Thai food. ...

Walked into the restaurant with my boyfriend without realizing a private party was going on. The owner, Sam, and the company CEO invited us in for free dinner and drinks and were incredibly warm and welcoming. 10/10 people, food, and atmosphere. It felt like a big family reunion that we were lucky to happen upon.

Did a quick lunch takeout on my WFH day and was shocked to see the value... for their flat rate lunch specials the salad and 3+ lbs of pad Thai was shocking to me! In the best way. As a Pad Thai connoisseur this is the BEST I have had in the Dallas area north of downtown. The volume is one thing, but the pad Thai was saucy (not oily, not dry) with a strong balance of the sour and sweet notes. I always go for mild spice the first time out and I guarantee that there is no spice on the no-spice level, will update when I try the mild. The chicken was SILKY and tender, the peanuts hit all the salty notes. Happy to report a desired amount of green onions (and cut so you won't smell like shrek later in the day) and crisp bean sprouts on top. New go-to place for me!

so delicious. the satay had a kick to it. i never had it on toast before and it was a nice tough. staff was friendly and food came out fast. i would recommend to friends
