(From August 2024)I had tickets for the 311/AWOLNation show in mid-August here. The size of the venue is bigger than I expected. Reminds me of Bayou Music Center in Houston in terms of size and setup. As for costs, parking is roughly $20-30 and it's a b**** to get out; might as well use that money to Lyft/Uber here cause they drop you off in front of the venue and pick you up there. As for concessions, I got a couple beers which were around $12 a piece for the large ones. Obviously it's expensive but typical of concert venues. The show itself was dope and the sound quality was clear and rockin with no issues. Restrooms are clean and easy to find and the staff is helpful.I wouldn't mind going to another show here but I'll rideshare here instead of dealing with parking.

We have been to this venue many times to see concerts. The current name is Texas Trust CU. The name changes but the venue stays the same. Great place to see a concert. You need to buy tickets in the lower section near the stage cost more but much better. Or lower middle seats are good. The back upper is a little far away, but you can watch the big TV screens one on each side. They have an upper balcony I was cheap once never again and sat up top. The upper balcony is not good way to high and far away from the stage. Spend the extra money and sit down on the bottom. Great sound in the room with two good screens to see up close.Parking is easy they direct you to park. You can get drinks or snacks if you want. Traffic leaving the parking lots takes a little bit time. People are good and take turns letting cars out.

Social Dallas had their very first Church Service here! We got there like 25 minutes before start time and traffic was heavy but their Parking Team directed traffic and directed us where to park. Lots of smiling faces and waves along the way to the front. Your purse will be checked before you enter the building for Church. Coffee is available for purchase. Ushers inform you on where to seat. The seats by the stage were already taken! We sat in the middle upper balcony and the view was great! I like how the seat in front of you has a cup holder. However, it's too dark in there to see. Social Dallas has a great worship team and performed some of my favorite songs of worship. Songs that really give God all Honor and Praise! God really deserves all the praise for making a way to have Church Service at Texas Trust CU Theater. The music was a bit loud but they have earplugs.Pastor Robert Madu preached a sermon called the Struggle is Real. It was mainly about never given up your faith or hope in Jesus no matter how long it's been. Also, make sure you have a core group of friends in your life, to encourage you along the way.Lots of souls were saved that day. Nearly half the room is waiting for something to be fulfilled by God. My prayer is that everyone in the theater sees their dreams come to pass.Restrooms are clean and are on each side of the venue. They have a Children's Ministry and a Nursing room for Mom's.Social Dallas has a lot of volunteers that make the Church. I would love to see Social Dallas make Texas Trust CU Theater there permanent home. We will trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 Amen.

Well I didn't have food but I did have drinks. The drinks are always expensive! You can look forward to spending $36 for two drinks for sure. I went to see Fantasia and she rocked the house down. The bartender was super nice and the vibe in the building was unmatched. I like this place because it's smaller and intimate so if you're sitting in the 100 or 200 section, you're still very close to the stage.

We had a great time at the concert however, the seats we had which were the front row of one of the balconies had an obstructed view due to the railing being at eye level.

I went here to see Slash's Blues Ball in August 2024. I had been there one time before several years ago but I did not remember it at all, so this was like a new experience. The venue was fine. There is ample parking ($30 for regular, $50 for VIP), entry was easy, the seats are comfortable, and the views are unobstructed. We were in the upper balcony and had a wide angle view of the entire stage. The sound quality was excellent, no echos or reverberations.Bathrooms are clean. The lobby has bars and places to buy merch. The reason for 4 stars is that the ushers did not control very well. They did not check tickets so anyone could sit anywhere. I saw a group of 3 guys standing in the walkway for a very long time. Aside from the fact that is a fire violation, they needed to be in their seats. Finally, after like 30 minutes of blocking someone's view, they decided to sit in the "King's Row" for which they obviously did not pay. The venue was not sold out so I guess it did not matter much, but I have never been to a concert where the ushers do not verify where you should sit. The show was excellent. It was a "festival" celebration of the blues. There were a total of 4 bands. I came to see Slash of course. Huge fan of Slash. I've seen him in Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver, with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and now his Blues Ball. All the tunes were covers of blues songs, but man, the band was tight and the sound was excellent. So happy that I was able to see Slash in concert again. The venue, surprisingly, was not close to full. Don't know why. Total concert was about 4 hours. Nice value for the money.I would go to see a concert here again.

I absolutely hate this place for the sole reason that they take advantage of their guests just because they can. This venue is in the middle of nowhere. Literally fields almost as far as you can see. There is no public transportation here. There is no shuttle service or park and ride. There is no discount parking that's a little bit of a walk. No, they literally force you to use their parking lot and charge you THIRTY TWO ($32) DOLLARS to see a concert. And sure, maybe you're like, this is the price we pay for a venue that's not owned by the succubus of tickermaster/livenation. But AXS pulls the same BS! This is on top of the $6 service fee and $5 facility fee from buying the $30 ticket. And it's not like concessions are affordable inside. No, you're looking at $6 for a small bottle of water. $12 for a domestic beer. Finally, what you're there for isn't amazing either. The sound varies from bad to okay depending on where you sit. The seats are small and no cup holders except the front row! If you're on the very sides, you will probably have a limited stage view. It's not worth it. I actively will skip shows and hope artists will consider accessibility and the impact on the environment and their fans wallets this venue has before booking next time.

I came with family to a comedy show . Located in Grand Prairie Texas. Vip parking was great. Right outside the theatre's doors. Speedy entry. Only small purses allowed. Concession only on one level. Very overpriced. One restroom section located on main floor. Seating in theater was better width than most venues. Jumbo Trons were showing which always makes a good show. Picture and sound were great.Comedians were hilarious. Gary Owen, Luenell, Bruce Bruce, Deon Cole. No lines leaving theater. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area

The line to get into the parking lot is ridiculous! We went to see Katt Williams recently, and the line was all the way back to the service road of I-20. This night, it was $30 to park, and they closed off other entrances to larger lots, only to have to park where an entrance was and walk far to the venue. Inside, rows are extremely close together, and you'll find yourself having to stand up (or completely move out the row) just to let people out. I'm 5'7 and my knees were killing me against the seat in front of me. I didn't buy drinks, but heard they run a nice penny. They just need to do better

$32 to park, $27 for two beers, and seats so tight that the whole row has to stand up to let anyone out of their seat. There is only one bathroom for the entire place.
