Texas Star Golf Course

Played yesterday, Nov 13, course was in great shape and staff was friendly. Just wondering why every one of the 18 Texas flags on each pin were upside down. Is this a pretty bad oversight or some kind of a statement?

Good course, good price, friendly staff. They currently have some construction on the clubhouse but it's no big deal. It was a very hot day, so we took advantage of all the water they provided. Well done!

Great golf course. Poor golf game. Only thing I wish would change here is the space they have allocated for the driving range. Beware there are only 3 bays.

This golf course was fantastic. The layout was awesome, cool designed holes and the greens were fine but they had mentioned they burned some of the poa annua so nothing I wasn't expecting. Highly recommend this course one of my favorite in the metroplex.

All I can say is how disappointed our group was with our Friday round at TX Star! We've been patronizing this course for 20 years and it's always been the most consistent at being in great shape for a reasonable price. I'm not sure if the greens keeper left or what's happened to the course maintenance folks but it needs major help! I just played Indian Creek and Coyote and they're both in amazing shape and better value.

Do not play this course right now and pay full price. There is no grass on the greens and the are full of poa annua grass which looks like little heads of broccoli on the green. Played there 3-3-2024

I highly recommend Leslie and her team at the Texas Star. We recently hosted an anniversary party in their conference center and Leslie made the whole process easy and as stress free as a large party can be. Her team was awesome and so helpful. I can't say enough good things and I highly recommend hosting you event here.

The course is the best in town that you can play in the entire metroplex without cashing in 250 to play Cowboys. The head pro Langas is a consummate professional. If you have a problem he is a fixer. The guy could easily manage an equity country club.Pine dunes is at least 2 hours away and considered the best in Texas. This is a close second and I mean by a whisker.

Played yesterday at 3pm with my buddy! $45 with cart! The course is in excellent condition! My favorite course in the DFW area! Best city course for sure! Go play it today!

Vincent was our waiter. He made some good suggestions-crab cake app & quesadilla. My sister joined us for drinks & apps-she really liked hers & the view was lovely. We were the only people on the enclosed outside space.
