Texas Catering

They sold my daughter's wedding date out from under her, 5 months ahead of the wedding. Then when she called, the owner, Jenny, was very rude, condescending and unprofessional. We were about to write a check for $11,000 plus. I guess I'm glad we know now, as I wouldn't trust them to deliver. I called and asked how we could resolve this. I have ordered a number of items from Texas Catering and they have all been delicious! Their desserts and pies are some of the best I have ever had. The Toffee Pecan Pie was an absolute stand out. We had a number of items for Thanksgiving dinner including turkey, mashed potatoes, corn bread, biscuits etc. My entire family loved everything. No need to cook for the holidays ever again!!Also, their Lobster Rolls were amazing for a family birthday function. Such good food and they were very easy to work with!

2nd time and still great. I recently attended a wedding at which Texas Catering provided the food. The passed apps were phenomenal. My favorite was the bruschetta. Other guests voted the ceviche or the shrimp as their favorite. The beef main course was incredibly tender and tasty. The service quality was excellent. The weather meant the caterer had to work an event with a changing layout. The staff met the challenging and pulled off a beautiful event.

Texas Catering was used for our wedding on 11/10/18. We went with an italian menu with Chicken Alfredo, and Chicken Parmesan. We also utilized them for their linen service, bartender and plates/utensils etc. They provided an awesome experience and ultimately had us thrilled about our wedding and the food. We also went with (3) appetizers for the cocktail hour which were all three delicious. We were hoping to have the grilled cheese but received the bruschetta but it was something minor that did not have a negative impact. We loved working with Jason and Jenni.

Texas Catering provided food for our wedding in November of 2021. Jenni and Texas Catering were extremely helpful and easy to coordinate with. We got to do a couple samplings at their facility and everything we sampled was amazing and Jenni even gave us our leftovers in a to-go box. Our sliders and mac and cheese and our late night pizza muffins and chicken tacos were exactly what we wanted and tasted amazing. Her serving staff were kind and efficient. We highly recommend Texas Catering to anyone that needs food services for their event!

Extremely unprofessional, the "owner" Jenni Williams was condescending and belittling to myself as a bride. After constant back and forth confirming the small details of the menu and adding extras and finalizing, Jenni sold my date to someone else without even a curtesy of a phone call. When calling to follow up, she blamed me when she sent an incorrect contract with the wrong dates but expected us to pay a deposit on it. Brides- BEWARE. Do not book with Texas Catering, as Jenni will do what is best for herself and not take you into consideration at all. She showed her true colors quickly.

I would give them a 0/5 if I could. Had two tastings with Texas Catering before the wedding with them and they were great, but the day of the wedding was a completely different story. We went with their slider station and paid for all guests to have 3 sliders. Found out workers only gave each guest 2 so we had a ton leftover. Toppings for sides ran out for the last two tables. Toppings were also not at all what we had at the tasting. They advertise their food very differently in the tastings and do not deliver at the event. Salad station was supposed to be lettuce with cucumbers, cheese, carrots, etc.. as described by owner and on the invoice.. it was only lettuce. We decided to go with the two late night food options from them as well. Late night food was hard, cold, and there was only about 20 each when we paid for 75 of each option. Ridiculous. Same thing happened with the appetizers, my family and most other guests couldn't try certain ones since they ran out so quickly. To top it off, the workers were caught on multiple occasions going into the bridal suite where the bridal parties personal belongings were. They had absolutely no reason to go into the suite. As the bride I had to move my stuff from the bridal suite mid wedding because of the Texas Catering staff. After the wedding the mom decided to give the owner a call to give her feedback because she was not there at the wedding and we thought as an owner she would want to know. My mom ended up writing her an email since she wouldn't answer her phone and her voicemail was full. Please note we were NOT asking for any compensation, just giving feedback so this wouldn't happen to others. After reading the email the owner called my mom at 9:30pm yelling at her calling her a liar for everything that we told her happened. Why would we lie about this? We were not asking for compensation. The owner said we didn't get all of the appetizers because we were taking pictures during cocktail hour. We took pictures before the ceremony. She was shocked when she found that out. Seems like she shorted us appetizers thinking the family wouldn't be around for cocktail hour. The owner also said she told us the late night food wouldn't be good since it's sitting all day, which was a blatant lie as she talked up the late night food to us at the tasting! It's unfortunate how much of a catfish Texas Catering is and how unprofessional the owner is. Do not book with them.

We had the great pleasure of working with Jenni and Jason's awesome team at Texas Catering, while planning multiple events for my daughter's wedding. Other caterers clearly focused on what we could do for them (dollar wise), Texas Catering focused on what they could do for us (event wise). From our first conversation forward, their true southern hospitality made our entire experience worry free. After setting beautiful tables and ambiance, their food offerings were consistently on mark (varied events from breakfast to heavy appetizers), all delivered impeccably by a well-mannered staff. Our guests are still raving about the originality of the food and the presentation. Hands down my best catering experience in literally 40-years of event planning.

Used them for my wedding back in September, they were so sweet and the staff was amazing. The food was fantastic and Jenni and Jason went above and beyond to make sure that my now husband and I were taken care of all night. They know weddings can be hectic and that we may not have gotten to eat as much -or at all- during the wedding, so they even packed up and made us to go boxes to eat back at the hotel. They truly are the best and sweetest people!
