Texan RV Ranch

We're thankful to say that Texan RV Ranch Mansfield is where we called home for three months. Went through a few ice freezes, few really bad rainstorms, many high wind days and a tornado watch during our stay here.Thank you for providing respite for our family of weary travelers! We'd like to highlight a few employees who made our stay comfortable: the sweet little cleaning grandma who lovingly boasts of her grandson while making the laundry room and showers sparkling clean. Nevin and Martha in the office were ALWAYS so pleasant to see and interact with. They truly have a heart for people and it shows their their smile and their work ethic. And the office kitty cat. My daughter would make a point to visit the office kitty cat whenever she could. Thank you for a lovely stay! Happy trails to us all!

Texan RV Ranch is located on Lone Star Road right before or after you hit Chambers rd in Southeast Mansfield, TX, offering one of the best campgrounds for your RV in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.They offer a fully stocked convenience store with snacks, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. They have clean and private bath houses. Laundry rooms, a swimming pool, and also on-site propane. Personally, one of my favorite things about this place is the drinking water they have. It's a five stage filtration system that dispenses water by the gallon. I usually come here to fill up my 18 gallons of water bi-weekly, and I never had an issue paying with credit cards or cash and coins. The water tastes clean and crisp, and the pump dispenses fast. They also sell ice here as well.The customer service is great and friendly, and I'm always greeted when arriving. This is a must stop for your gallon of water needs, and it's especially convenient when living in the surrounding neighborhoods.

This was the first place we stayed in our new RV, we stayed 3 and half months. The management was friendly and effective. There are standards and they are enforced. Our lot was level, paved and spacious. The utilities were easy to use. Wifi internet is free and there is an option to purchase service giving improved bandwidth. I found the cost modest. I am a remote worker and had no difficulty. Our neighbors were friendly and helpful when needed. Although the facility is near a highway, we were not bothered by road noise. There is convenient shopping, restaurants, and medical within minutes. We left to travel for three months and are now on a waiting list to move back in. It's a great place to stay in the DFW area.

We are full time RV'ers and have stayed at 100s of parks. This is a great place to stay for a short visit or long term. The park is clean, staff is friendly. They have two shower and laundry houses that are excellent. The washers are great and the dryers actually dry your clothes. The showers and latrines are clean and spacious. Dumpsters are located conveniently in the park but not too close to any site which is a good thing. The office also doubles as a small convienent store that sells anything you might need to save you a trip into town. Ice is priced reasonably, snacks, beer, tobacco, lotto, luncheon meat, cheese, ice cream, water, sodas, snack bar, chips, fountain drinks, laundry soap, and RV supplies to get you out of a bind. Every site has its own mail slot in the office behind the counter. The pool is very nice with shaded areas around it with picnic tables. The playground is nice as well. A larger but quiet park, no complaints here so far.

This place has been a lifesaver when we moved into town and needed a place to stay for as long as buying a house would take. We planned to stay in our RV but ended up parking it and renting a cabin. The management is fantastic, really nice and caring people, and the place is family oriented. A lot of kiddos. Mine were happy to enjoy the pool in the afternoon and make friends. The laundry area was super convenient and clean. The site also offered family meeting times as free family breakfast on Saturday. We were glad to find a house but sad to leave the Texan RV place!! (Especially me... did I mention they offered cleaning services for the cabin just like in a hotel??)

Nice park with pool and grocery store. Friendly staff, level sites. The gravel roads are quite noisy though and there appear to be "smart" meters on many of the sites. But the laundry/shower facilities are the nicest I've seen at an RV park. You get your own bathroom with full shower, a nice one too, not just a concrete stall.

My husband travels for work and we live in our RV during his season. This park was the absolute nicest one in the area. It's close to everything and the railhead where my husband is working. Christy the manager is an absolute sweetheart to work with and got us in to a wonderful spot. The staff was great in any thing we needed. The facilities laundry and bath house are the cleanest I have ever seen. The pool is always clean and so are the grounds. This is a very kid friendly park with a playground and pool. I can't wait till we can come back and stay here again.

Definitely one of the best RV parks to stay at south of DFW. Lots of workers stay here because it's quiet and clean. No nonsense. Full hook ups, nice sites, great staff.

So.. I just moved here and already have been threatened... feel like I'm being watched and now walking on egg shells .. makes me not even wanna be home or come home.... Hate feeling like I'm being picked on......

I have been here for almost two years. I love it! The bathrooms and laundry facilities are clean. The management is great!
