I spent 10 years of my life in the New Orleans area. I have to admit, I am always skeptical of crawfish outside of South Louisiana. I decided to give Terrebonne's Restaurant & Bar a try. Stopped in today for the first time. Crawfish had great flavor! I ordered the crawfish and shrimp platter. 2 lbs crawfish with a half lb of shrimp. Fantastic!Only thing I would change with how this is served is that the corn and potatoes should be cooked in the boil. They are much more flavorful that way. This is the only reason for not giving a 5th star.

I was so truly excited to try this place, the owner has always been super kind and he used to do boils out of his home and connecting us to Cajun cuisine. They are still fairly new so I'm sure there's some staffing and other issues playing a factor in the background. Nonetheless, my visit was very underwhelming. We walked in and waited about 10 mins to even be acknowledged by anyone. So many employees walked by avoiding eye contact. Then of course the wait for the food, almost an hour. And the food wasn't even remotely warm when we got it. I could give my toddler the fries without even cooling it down. The pasta was almost cold, room temperature at best. The appetizer platter was decent, though the natchitoches meat pie was super fishy and we couldn't stomach it. I would like to say I would be back to give them a try when they work some kinks out.

The food was really good. I ordered the wings and shrimp poboy. I went on a weekend afternoon it was kinda empty but service was attentive. The location was pretty new. I believe the waiter said they had been open approximately 3 weeks.No alcohol service yet but curious to see what drinks are available.

Terrebonne's is a new Cajun restaurant opened on West Camp Bowie. The restaurant is definitely NOLA themed, pics of river boats, etc. The service is quick and friendly. The food is excellent! My gumbo was FULL of shrimp ama crab. We cannot wait to come back.

Decided to spend Super Bowl here tonight. Started with about 3lbs of crawfish. Early in the season so size was mixed from field run to large lol! Seasoned to perfection though. Not too spicy where my son could eat about 3 before grabbing for his water. The shrimp po boy was good and the roast beef poppy was okay (gravy was a little too salty for my taste). Even left with some of the BEST STOP Tasso. We will definitely be back again! Thanks Jesse for the great food as it did not disappoint!!!

Finally!Terrebonne's had a 2-day VIP Opening this weekend.It did not disappoint.The food looks good, and what I had was really good.If you are venturing over after eating in Colleyville and then Bedford, you will find exactly what you are looking for, with a few new added items.They do not have Crawfish yet but are expected to this coming weekend.I was by myself, so I didn't have room to try any appetizers, although I saw some of my Faves.I had the Envie and it was excellent. Perfectly Blackened Redfish, plus a healthy Skewer of Grilled Shrimp, all over Jambalaya.I also got a Bread Pudding afterwards.I'm pretty picky about Bread Pudding, and this version was perfection. Served in a Cereal Bowl with plenty of dark, rich Rum Sauce in the bottom.The waitstaff was very attentive.The kitchen was a bit slow, but we were warned of that, and I'm sure that will speed up as they find their footing.No Alcohol License yet - but it's coming - BYOB for the interim.This is a nice-looking place. First off the bad... The gumbo is way too salty. We talked to the manager and he agreed. I judge a Cajun place by their gumbo and it is two thumbs down. Everything thing else was great. The waitstaff was friendly, the crawfish was great, the fried pickles were good.If you order off of the boil menu you get your food quick. If you order from the kitchen you wait. So beware if you have people in your party ordering differently. As of this writing the place is BYOB even though yelp says there is a full bar. So for now bring your beer with you. They are working on it so this comment will be moot soon.

Great Food but they have no clue how to manage a restaurant or supervise staff. One young girl was working 6 tables and the other staff was just sitting around. The gentleman that I assume owns the place just walks around talking to tables. Don't expect speedy or good service . Don't expect Alcohol ( they told us we could go to the shady bar next door and they would deliver food (kinda crazy) but the crawfish , crab and gulf shrimp were EXCELLENT. Everything else was very amateur. I hope they figure it out or they won't last long!
