We recently moved to Aubrey and Tender is right down the road from us. We are excited to have BBQ so conveniently located to us! Being the first time here, and also being big Tx BBQ lovers, we wanted to try everything on the menu and we did almost literally (all meats, except beef spare ribs, and all the sides; even got banana pudding as a bonus).Everyone was so nice and helpful (the woman assisting us with taking our order helped us figure out the best way to try it all). They made us feel like family which is so heart warming. We came at an off hour so the dining room did not have a lot of people and we enjoyed a quiet relaxing lunch/dinner. One of the pit masters came to our table to see how we liked everything and stayed to chat with us for quite awhile. He and hubby had several interests in common and so the conversation kept going. The story of how he came to be at Tender was intriguing and we really enjoyed his stories. What a delight to have met him! He said he was in charge of the ribs, beans, and banana pudding. We only had 2 out of the 3 of his menu items (the beans and ribs) so he insisted we take his banana pudding to go. I'm glad for his insistence - it was sooo good!Service and the personnel make this Tender location a 5 star experience, but I do my Yelp rating on the food alone. I gave it 4 stars because it did not quite match my favorite BBQ joint in the area. Of all the meats (sausage, jalapeno sausage, brisket, ribs, turkey, pulled pork) we enjoyed the sausage and ribs the most. I'm not saying the other meats weren't good - they were!! - we just like our other joint's better. It is much farther away from us so we'll be frequenting Tender more often, though.

My husband and I come here at least once a week as it is conveniently by our house, My favorite is the fully loaded potato with pulled pork. Hubby loves the brisket and jalapeño sausage. And of course, you have to end the meal with their banana pudding which is AMAZING! Thoroughly always enjoy our time here as the owners are always checking in on their guests and socialize with you.

We dine here on a regular basis. Service is excellent and the food is always great. I suggest this place to everyone.

We are incredibly spoiled to have such a great BBQ restaurant on the corridor next to Savannah. We eat here quite regularly and every single staff member take great care of us-- we are on a first name basis with everyone, staff is so patient with my son when ordering and love talking to him about all things- from school to BBQ. Highlights here for the meat are the brisket, ham (during holidays), turkey, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. Amazing smoke on all the meats. Sides are also solid, I love the spice on the BBQ beans. I place the flavor annd pricing above Hard Eight, this is great Texas BBQ. Chad is great GM and you can tell he runs a great restaurant- food is great and staff attentiveness is always on point.

Decent barbecue a little over priced but that come with the area we are in. Sides are a no go for me it's like the out all the thought and effort into the proteins and just threw sides together.

In place the order online for pick up. The online ordering process was simple . I order both the beans and three pork rib bones . They were both delicious.What made the experience a five star is the customer service- I called about an issue with my order . The manager's response to the problem has converted me to a loyal customer. He delivered true family owned services.

We came here straight from the Dallas airport because I was craving bbq. I was pleasantly surprised but that they had breakfast barbecue which is there a better thing than that. You get to pick your own meats and pair it up with sides and your choice of egg preparation. They also had these amazing bottled sodas, by Dublin that we have never had and we highly recommend. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather with cornhole and a large connect 4 that my son loved.

First off management and staff here are top notch and really go out of their way to help out the customers whether it's opening the door or escorting people with umbrellas in the rain to their cars. We ordered the prime brisket and Mac and cheese! It was fantastic and 1/2 pound vwas perfect for my wife and I to split. My little one hade the Little Chapo sandwich The ambience is great here and they have outdoor games to play before and after your meal. You can't go wrong with Tender!

So delicious! The Mac and cheese and banana pudding is amazing and the service is great! Management and staff are friendly and hospitable. Fun activities available to do on the front porch.
