The cabbage soup going to be the first thing I want the next time I catch a cold. I typed "veggies" into Yelp on a cold day, and this popped up first with all the stars. The waitress I talked to took the time to comb through my food allergies and made sure the soup I ordered was safe. My kids LOVED the chicken soup, and they are terribly picky. My soup was rich, flavorful, and filled with all kinds of spices and veggies. I felt full, but also content, just about half way through my soup. I was excited to have leftovers for the next day.The restaurant also has a charming story written across the front wall, and I enjoyed telling my family about it when I got home. You can tell the care and intention put into every aspect of the restaurant.

Food is decent. Not the best I have had but good enough to go back. However, we had a pretty bad experience with ordering their apps. We ordered the rice cake it was great, eat it while it's hot. Tried their fried buns it was okay not very hot when it came out... so idk how i felt about that. What made me give them 4 stars is the popcorn chicken. we ordered it with the apps and it never came. We were finished with dinner and wanted them to cancel it and was told that they are making it already, so they cannot cancel it. We got it a few mins after that. Honestly if an appetizer comes after your entree there is something wrong. Decor is simple and to the point, just the way I like it.Definitely try their rice cakes

I finally got a chance to try this place after multiple years of parking in this plaza. We went on a rainy day, and it was the perfect meal to beat the cold. We ended up getting two "make your own" noodle combo.one original pork bone soup and the other green pepper soup. Both were good, but i think i preferred the green pepper soup for that added kick.the make your own combo, comes with a bunch of random sides and a decent sized serving of noodles. it also comes with 5 slices of beef, which come our raw, but the soup is hot enough to cook it. One random feedback, is the dish they serve the food/soup in.... it reminds me of a dog food bowl. lolService was pretty good and attentive.Location: its in the backlot behind the 99 ranch store.

My new favorite noodle place in Carrollton! The service is quick, ingredients feel fresh, and broth is so flavorful. One thing I wish is I wish they had hand-pulled noodles. As a group we ordered smashed cucumber and popcorn chicken as appetizer and they were really good too. Smashed cucumber is seasoned perfectly. I got the Mala spicy noodle, and it was right amount of numbness. I tasted my friend's green pepper broth and that was really good too. So many different choices to choose from! Def will come back in the future.

We went on a Friday night and it was so homey. The service was quick and attentive and the warm light in there makes it feel so luxurious, it's hard to explain. I got the tomato based soap (built your own) with beef ($12.99) and my boyfriend got the constructed one for hot and sweet and sour noodle beef stew ($14.99) the main difference is that mine had less meat and he had more but the concept is the same. Love their pumpkin cake (it's fried mocha with a little bit of red bean pace) 11/10 I've had this in New York and the quality here was super close. Amazing portion with an amazing price tag

We've been coming to ten seconds for a couple years now, through the old and new remodel and the food has been excellent the whole time. I love the atmosphere of shop and the ladies are really kind. Food comes out fast and my favorites are the crossing bridge noodles in the hot and sour (金汤) and normal (原味骨汤)soup! The hot and sour is not the American style hot and sour soup, it's a lighter profile definitely worth a try!! Another favorite appetizer is the popcorn chicken (盐酥鸡)and it's just so crunchy and flavorful!

I haven't been this excited for a restaurant in awhile sad to say. And not that I haven't had great, delicious food lately, but sometimes that great food requires a lot from me, either in cost or driving distance. But this place has been on my radar for awhile because it's so close to me and always has great ratings. I'm so glad I finally came to try it out. The pictures really don't do it justice. My boyfriend ordered the pork bone broth and I did the hot and sour broth. I love how complex Chinese soups can be. There's not just a plain broth and a spicy one. There's different kinds of spicy. There's a sour spicy, a clear broth spicy, and an oily, numbing spicy. The hot and sour one was perfect for me and had awesome flavor. My boyfriend couldn't finish his bowl and took some home, which I had the joy to eat the next day for lunch. And yes, it was still very yummy.Probably the best bite, however, goes to the mala beef tendon appetizer. I always get this when I see it, but this place was just absolutely perfect. Cold, just the right amount of oil, tender and oh so tasty. On top of all of this, the service was really good. And by good, I also include friendly because let's face it, sometimes the friendliness isn't really there at some of the more "authentic" Chinese restaurants unless you go there often. But as a first timer, we were met with smiles and was looked after several times.

TL;DR - Trendy novelty noodle shop. The Szechuan mala beef tripe is good. The cross the bridge noodles are a novelty for first time only. All broths have too much MSG. --So about a month ago, I happened to notice this place tucked away in the back of this plaza while I was looking for parking. Now I'm a noodle guy so I was like - I gotta give this place a try on my next cheat day! Fast forward four weeks (skipped a few cheat days) and here I am. This is a pretty large and spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. It's definitely a good place to bring large parties. Drinks (at least hot and cold water) come in mason jars with a handle. Warm water is available on request. Utensils-wise - everyone gets a pair of chopsticks and small noodle soup ladle. Mason jars and ladle? Off to a good start! There are 3 TVs overhead for entertainment and some popular music playing in the background which gives the restaurant a trendy vibe. complimentary WIFI is available and the password is on the front of the cashier's counter. We ordered 3 bowls of noodle soup and 1 cold dish - a Cross the Bridge Rice Noodle (funny translation) with golden broth, a rice noodle soup bowl with golden broth and pork intestines, a rice noodle soup bowl with tomato broth and stewed beef, and a Szechuan mala beef tripe. The Cross the Bridge Rice Noodle is a novelty at best. For a slightly cheaper price, you get to experience mixing together your own rice noodle soup. You get to choose your broth, they lock you into 5 slices of beef for protein, and give you all the sides in tiny little plates. You get to choose what you want to dump in your broth that comes in a big black tub of a bowl. Process - put in the meat first, then add toppings as desired, add rice noodles, stir, wait 10 seconds, eat. Be careful dumping the noodles in as the small bowl can be slippery and the broth may splash you and/or the person across from you. The beef cooks within 10 seconds and should be ready by the time you finish stirring the noodles. A positive is that the rice noodle's texture is more al dente since you put it in yourself rather than a chef in the kitchen (which adds to the 'sit in broth' time). The Rice Noodle Soup in the Bowl with golden broth and pork intestine was alright. The broth is supposed to be spicy and sour but all I really tasted was the spicy. It also seemed to be heavily laced with MSG. My tongue was dry all day and spoiled my appetite afterwards (I think I drank 1500ml of water to cleanse my palate). On the plus-side, the premade bowls come with very generous portions of meat and toppings. I was able to taste the flavor of the intestines in the broth (which is good) so the meat probably soaked in the broth for a bit. I might get this again just for the pork intestines but won't drink all the broth next time. The Rice Noodle Soup in the Bowl with tomato broth and stewed beef was okay as well. The tomato flavor in the broth was very strong, but again seemed to have a lot of MSG. Everything else was pretty much the same as the previous bowl - generous portions of meat and toppings, and flavorful broth. Lastly is the Szechuan Mala Beef Tripe. This is a cold dish of spicy beef tripe in Szechuan sauce with 3 slices of cucumbers. This was pretty good. You don't really taste the spiciness at the first bite, or second, or third because the sourness of it keeps it at bay. However, the spiciness catches up when you stop eating it. It's kind of addicting actually. I highly recommend giving this a try. The service was excellent, the food came out fast, and the staff was friendly and attentive. When you're done, you can either pay at your table (by flagging the waitstaff down) or walk up to the counter if you're in a hurry. They're pretty accommodating either way. Price-wise, the Cross the Bridge Rice Noodle is $13 and the premade Rice Noodle Soup in the Bowl is $15. The former seems to come with the same toppings as the other option but less in quantity, locks you into very little beef slices for protein, but is a fun first-time experience. The latter has more toppings, more protein selection and protein quantity, seems to come in a much larger bowl but is premade (which is like every other noodle soup restaurant).
