Taqueria Tepito

Tried today for the first time, service was good, great menu options, CDMX based. Tried the Tepito torta and it was great! It can easily be shared , Fries where good also. Salsas where very good.

Man! This is my new spot! Makes me sad that I've been passing by this little restaurant without a glance! I was completely shocked when I receive my quesadilla with a hand made corn tortilla!! But them Tacoooosss! I had one of Flor de calabaza and one of Huitlacoche and they were I hovered my meal! The place does have a bit of a drainage smell to it at first, but once you take that first bite all you hear, see, smell is Bilisssssss! Good job guys!

Horrible customer service . I came into the place, my first time and I was craving tacos.. I was excited because I'm from Mexico City and in the menu they offer a lot of variety is hard to find. First thing coming in, the lady who I believe is the owner, with a bossy tone of voice called me to the counter, because that's how you order in that place.. I asked for suadero, tripa, and suddenly the guy who was in the back who I assumed is the owner, or a very arrogant employee came out and told me that he only had ... Asada, pastor and chorizo.. Overpriced, TERRIBLE customer service , I'm glad I don't have to ever come back again.

It's easy to miss, but I ordered the chicken and beef tacos. Man are they good, if you like street tacos. Must try.. it took about 10- 15 to get our order, which is great because it was freshly cooked to order.

If I could award no stars to this place, I would. I looked hard for this place too. Apparently it's making money somewhere. They got an Eastside location too. However, at 9:30 am it looked lonely. I just knew I would get good burritos here. Nope. They got no burrito although it it is on the menu. He could make me one. But they don't do breakfast... hmmm thought about it for a long time as they guy behind the counter looked at me. I thought try it and spent $6-7 bucks...? Or go home and make my own tacos. I went home...

Service was good, ambiance is alright, but the food was bland, I ordered a carne asada quesadilla to go, when I got home (2 minutes down the street) I was excited since this place is right down the street, but when I tell you there was zero flavor, im not exaggerating. I physically can not eat the quesadilla, their salsa verde isn't good, it taste like jalapeños and that's it. Guys/gals I can't stress this enough, im white and understand the stereotypes how we don't flavor our foods, but I know white people who could cook this better. There's ZERO flavor, this is my SECOND yelp review, & I felt OBLIGATED to give this a review because it was that bad. Just look at the picture! What salsa verde have you had where it's that green or that thick! NEVER ordering here again and will tell all my friends this place sucks.

Mid and overpriced, the Al Pastor is anything but not sure what they're selling under the moniker Al pastor but it's definitely not it. Got a 3 leches cake as well the strawberries were wilted beyond belief. Then the lady at the register ran outside to tell us we didn't pay for the cake. I most definitely said we wanted the cake at the register so her hard of hearing she made it seem like I was trying to steal. Definitely won't be back.

Owner had bad customer service, he seemed annoyed that we were ordering. The pastor was all squishy and the asada tasted like it was boiled hamburger meat. We asked for cilantro and cebolla and he acted like we had not even paid and I definitely do not recommend the place

First of all online it says they close at 11pm I arrived at 9:30pm the employee was already cleaning the dining room and stated they were only taking togo orders. The entire menu is in Spanish therefor if you do not read Spanish you will find yourself having a hard time ordering, I order a burrito with beef, two sopes with pastor, and 6 tacos with different meats. Everything was bland the meats were dry. The tortillas are cheap and paper thin, they over cooked them in oil which made them greasy, crunchy and hard to eat as a taco. The salsas are okay missing salt as well, the spice level was there. The food came packed in cheap paper plates with plastic wrap and no utensils. Over all, I would not recommend this establishment nor would I eat here again. It's edible to say the least.

primero que nada no tiene ingiene el lugar al entrar un olor no agradable ,compré un menudo y pozole ,de hace días guardado todo lo que venden es cómida que no se vendió en días , no lo recomiendo
