Birria tacos!!! So GOOD. I ordered them to go along with a chicken, pastor & a fajita beef taco. When I got home to eat them they were still crunchy and warm! I also ordered elote and a cantaloupe water which were also yummy. The lady behind the register was so helpful and allowed me to take my time to look at the menu since it was so big with so many options. Once my order was placed it didn't take long to get my food at all which was nice. My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the chicken taco meat was a little bulkier than I like compared to other locations and was a little on the dry side. But I'll give it another try when I go back and will see if it was a one time thing to try and update them to 5 because everything else was delicious!

This place has constantly been on my newsfeed from people raving about their tacos. I decided to come see they hype for myself and ordered some birria tacos. It was my first time trying them so I'm not sure if I just don't like birria tacos or that it wasn't done correctly ? Can't give an honest opinion because I can't compare it to anything, but they were very oily and hard to pick up/keep together. The staff were very nice and the area was clean, but I probably won't be back. They have a second location on Collins so clearly they're popular within the area! The chicken tacos were also a miss (for me). Didn't have much seasoning and was very bleh. Give them a try, support local, and maybe try something new from the menu. Their tamales looked good but after trying the birria tacos I wasn't very enthusiastic to order another item.

Ordered birria tacos and they were very oily and soggy. Couldn't even dip into consomé because they were already dripping wet in oil.

Man I've been waiting to try this place out...& it was a totally disappointment! The Churros, flautas, pretty much everything that was cooked or fried had this bitter aftertaste. The oil was old! The flauta tortilla tasted like dirt. & the salsa was soooooooo SALTY!! I really wanted to like this place but I don't think I'll go back

Amazing food! I was a bit surprised that upon driving up it was located inside a convenience store, but the food! The young lady at the register was very friendly and patient as I made my choices. The lady cooking made all the meat/fillings fresh for my tacos. Delicious!! The salsa was amazing that came with the chips & salsa order. Had a side of guacamole too. I will be a frequent customer. Don't let the location keep you from trying it.

I'm easily satisfied when it comes to ghetto tacos. As long as there's good sauce and flavorful meat, I'm pretty much set. For those of you who aren't familiar with this taqueria, it's located to the left inside the Shell gas station. I saw the sign on the mart when I came here for gas and decided to give it a shot one day. I had a decent experience; ordered the beef taco and it was average. I don't particularly remember it standing out to me in any way, so I didn't come back for several months. I went back this afternoon and was feeling pig, so I ordered 3 of the pork tacos as a quick lunch on the way back from work. The woman working the cashier was super friendly. I was concerned that she wouldn't be very welcoming, since I was a little Asian girl in a gas station filled with Hispanics. All of the seats around the corner were filled with customers stuffing their faces with tacos. She offers onions with every taco, along with the red and green hot sauce. You also have a choice of flour or corn tortillas (as with almost all taco places).Food came out in less than 5 minutes, and when I opened my package (took it to-go) I saw 3 small tacos. I'd say they were about the size of my hand, but I really didn't mind since each taco was only 99 cents. I spent $3.25 (tax included) for this, and I thought it was a great deal for something that was quick and made fresh. Red and green sauce came in a tied sandwich baggie and you can buy more for 25 cents each. With places like these, I'm always concerned about the cleanliness of the area. Honestly, the little corner was so open that you could see everything that the employees were doing to make your tacos. For my pork tacos, the meat was fresh and very flavorful. Generous onion portions spread on top, along with a few other spices and cilantro. Two slices of key limes on the side to squeeze on the tacos. I'd say this place is a really great deal. I could have easily eaten 4 tacos, but I was satisfied with the 3 that I ordered. There's also breakfast tacos (haven't tried them) and daily specials on certain days of the week, so you can order an entire meal for only a few dollars. If you're not much of a taco person, I saw a few other options available on the menu as well. It's definitely more than just a taco corner. And since it's in a gas station, you can grab a Dos Equis to drink with your taco. It's a very underrated place, in my opinion. Worth trying out if you're looking for a less crowded spot on the east side of Arlington.

We eat at this Saltillo location pretty often. The food is consistently good. They have the best cactus tacos around. We also normally get fajita, lengua, and tripa tacos.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to go buy some horchata and the girl at the counter sold me some SPOILED horchata... not only is this disgusting but she should get fired for even selling it in the first place. Could sue this place for being so disgusting and that girl should be fired. AND THATS THE TEA SIS !
