Taqueria El Mirador

I work in the River Oaks area near North Side and I've been going to every Taqueria I can find so when this one opened up right down the street recently obviously I had to go ahead and give it a shot. The parking lot is a little awkward and limited in space, the front of the restaurant has stairs to walk up to a patio.It's a small place but it has a lot of food options and they also serve beer as well as soft drinks, you order up front and they bring the food to your table. They brought us chips and salsa which I didn't expect in such a small place so that was nice, however the chips were a little stale lol but I liked the salsa which was spicy.I ordered the Carne asada burrito and I was happy with my choice, you never know what you're gonna get at a new place but this burrito was big and flavorful. The meat and beans tasted very fresh and well seasoned.If you just want a quick, quiet lunch with some good flavor why not stop by and try for yourself.

-0 do not come here. I ordered a pastor burrito- a burrito usually comes with rice, beans, meat, cilantro, onion and a side of sauce and limon. Why tf did I get ASADA AND CHEESE! I'll say this, I went in at 7:04pm....on website says closed at 8pm and the OPEN sign was lit up and all. HOWEVER, the schedule on the wall did say close at 7pm. It was confusing cause the lights were on to the open sign, so we went in just to make sure THEY WERE IN ALL THEIR RIGHT TO SAY "Sorry we are closed" boom okay no worries go home to yall family. But they didn't turn us back which we thought was nice but if that meant the quality of the food was gonna be beyond disgraceful then turning us away wouldn't be bad because it would've saved you a negative review. Sucks. Really I should've turned away too that's my fault.

Cute little restaurant that brings Mexico to Fort Worth. Service was quick and friendly. We had a chorizo con huevo tacos, torta La Americana, torta Suiza & torta Hawaiana. My belly is happy :)

Walked in at 8:30pm and were told only options were tacos and tortas, no rice and no beans. The establishment closes at 10. New place so we decided to try it out anyway. I got 3 fajita tacos and my husband ordered 4 tacos, 4 different meats. The tortillas used are mission yellow tortillas. A no for me, but if you like them then they'll work. My fajita was good. The lid on the green salsa came completely off and went all over my plate. Good, but spicy. Now my husbands plate... a no to birria meat,but the carnitas, fajita, and chicharon were good to him. We were never asked if we needed anything by the waitress with only one other party there. It was small, but clean. We most likely won't return. It was just ok. It was $27and change+tip. I've had way better in this neck of the woods.

If you know real authentic Mexican food, this is definitely not the place for you. The food has no flavor whatsoever, coffee was mild, washed down. The tacos are also overly greasy (in a bad way). The only good thing we liked was the red salsa. I hope they make some changes as I would like to see this restaurant flourish; we left very dissatisfied.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. My husband just went there to pick up a to go order and only received half of the order. When I called them she only told me No English. So we ended up paying almost 35 dollars for 2 small burritos and 3 tacos.

We ordered chicken and fajita tacos, and I'll say if you're looking for authentic street tacos, you've found the right place! Don't judge this restaurant by the appearance of the building. The food here is absolutely scrumptious! We'll be going back soon for sure.

Amazing food & service! I was surprised by the wide variety of foods available, definitely not your typical taqueria. The salsa was addicting. We look forward coming back again.

Food was not good at all at least the chilaquiles were not and we order chicken nuggets for the kids were cook from the outside but the inside the we're all raw And the prices are super high I never complain on price when I eat but this time I was so disappointed because the food is just not good at all
