Taqueria El Bayo

We went early on a Saturday afternoon and we had the place to ourselves. Parking was perfect and the location was clean and very spacious. Staff was super nice! I got the asada tacos with avocado and queso with handmade tortillas. Wow just delicious and the watermelon juice was so so fresh!!! I took a second one to go.

I definitely will return for more. These tacos are legit. The best tacos so far that I have found in FW. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The young lady who served our table was friendly; provided good and prompt service.I shall return to try other dishes.

I've basically been trying all the little taquerias around Northside and the other day I went into this one pick up a to-go order. Went inside and the person at the counter was very nice, the place has some old-timey looking decor and apparently it has been there for a long time. I ordered the carne asada burrito with cheese and avocado and it was really tasty, they use queso fresco which I enjoyed. The burrito was a really good size so the value was good $5.99 is what I paid for it, and they had a really tasty roasted red Chile that I liked a lot. I'll have to get back in to try some other items but if you're looking for little local Taqueria in Northside with a good burrito I would definitely stop into this place and give it a shot.

Horrible service!!.. One hour and 20 minutes and no food...My wife, two toddlers, and I came here on Sunday morning at 11:40 am. We stood at the door for a couple of minutes, and no one greeted us. As I began to walk over to the young lady at the register (who was not helping anyone and could've sat us), a waitress finally came to seat us. We were given menus and drinks, and then waited what seemed to be about 15 minutes with no one coming back to take our order or refill my wife's coffee. While waiting for our food, we had to flag another waitress down to refill my wife's coffee and our chips. This was about 30 minutes in, when no one checked on us. It's now about 12:45 pm, and my wife and I are getting very frustrated and impatient. The waitress comes back at 12:55 pm, and says, "You're food should be out in 5 minutes... maybe." Uh, maybe?? In the meantime, we see that people who arrived at the restaurant after us got their food before us. And we also see a couple of other people leave the restaurant due to their slow service. As one o'clock hits, I beeline to the register to pay for my drinks and get out of there. They were nice enough not to make me pay for the drinks, but what a complete waste of time...This was very unfortunate. I grew up in this neighborhood, still live in the area, and was hoping to find a regular spot and support a local business. This place would've been left better as the Wells Pharmacy it was back in the day.

First time customer, and ordered over door dash. Recommend the tacos and Gorditas. Rice and beans are decent. Hot sauce is fresh and was impressed with the homemade chips. Would be five stars but a birria taco was forgotten fromwhat I'd ordered. Just one of those things and not worth the hassle of calling.Would order from again.

Food was good and prices are fair. I ordered a torta platter. I would have liked for the torta to have a little more beans and lettuce. The fries were not seasoned liked they described in the menu and showed in the picture. Still not bad. My agua de pepino con chia was delicious.Music is a bit too loud. Could have received a little more service. Overall, really liked this restaurant and recommend if you like authentic Mexican food.

Food was horrible (burnt and after taste burnt) we order quesobirria tacos. We all feel nauseous and upset stomach after eating this food. The service was horrible. she messed up our order three times. Make sure your aware if you pay cash there is no additional fees, but if you pay with card there is an additional fee per item you order (wished they mention that to you prior ordering). First and last time I go. Wish I could post the pictures of receipts with additional fees per item. I normally don't complain if food is good, but the food was disgusting .

Service sucks , walked in and was never greeted .We sat down and waited about 15 minutes for a waitress to come take our drink and food order and that never happened so we walked right out . It was not busy at all, they were just standing behind the register.

I have visited this restaurant twice, because our friends invited us.. the food is not bad.. it's the poor service they have. I would prefer self-serve...but I finally understood why the poor service...it's due to tips already added to the bill.. so no matter the wait or complaints or whatever, they will be tipped!!!!

So idk why they packaged my food like this but for whatever reason they truly were in a hurry and didn't care for my food to get delivered safely food was everywhere i couldn't enjoy my meal this was my first time trying this place and first food was cold I truly just didn't like how my food arrived all over the place I think the food came fast from my dasher but if the restaurant can improve there packaging and makeing sure everything arrives safe I would give this place a 4 stars but this 2 rating review is based on first time experience and just got disappointed with the way my meal was presented im sure actually being at the restaurant would be better but just heads up for food delivery this is what happened
