Tacos Taqueria

My Dad said, there's always a line to eat here so, he said they must be good! He's been wanting to try their Tacos for awhile now. Once he told me this, I thought this would be a good opportunity for a yelp review! So, let's get started.I rolled up to the Gas Station and a guy was sitting on the curb in a parking space, awkward. I don't know what was going on with him but, May the Lord Bless him and keep him. I walked in and was greeted right away by a dark skinned guy with large eyes and interesting voice. He had a difficult time getting my order right and operating the register. He even asked me to go get the Boss so, the Boss can help him w the register? I went to sit down and wait for my order. Then the guy from the kitchen asked me about the Tacos I ordered so, he could make them. I ordered the 3 Taco Plate w Rice and Beans. The Chicken Fajita Taco was dry but, tasted good with Lime and Green Sauce. The Green Sauce was watery with a little punch to it. The Tripas Taco had a little servings in the Toasted Tortilla.I'm saving the Carne Asada Taco for tomorrow but, it tasted really salty. Yum! The to go plate was not big enough. My Tacos were crammed in there w a surplus amount of Onions. My Taco Plate included a large Chili Pepper. My rice was ok, it had a little bit of corn in there. Beans were ok, not sure what they refry them with.My Dad said, his Barboco Tacos were tasty. He enjoyed the Green Hot Sauce and Limes. My Dad said, he would eat there again. So, I guess all be back.

Authentic Street Tacos! Open 24 Hours! Located in the Shell station! Hubby & I been coming here a long long time! We always stop in here when we are in the area bc AUTHENTIC TACOS !!! We love the carne asada with the green sauce the best, but they are all yummy! Get the extra grilled onions on the side & add them to your tacos, especially the Carne Asada! Ole! Highest Recommendations!

Unfortunately, ever since after covid this place is just not the same anymore. The hours have changed. It is no longer 24/7. Quality in food has decreased tremendously. I've given this place a few more chances before updating to this review and sadly I no longer recommend this place. Meats are dry, lack flavor sometimes chewy. Tastes like it's been sitting there for a while. Sauces taste like sink water, not spicy again..no flavor.

Stopped by last week got carne asada burrito it was okay little salty for my taste others in my home got menudo On friday this week I stopped by again (better half wanted tacos) so i got a menudo tripe they give you enough but few kernals of hominy sadly Anyway it was very salty I went since it was pushed positive on tik tok but it was ok wouldn't go again service is polite but very slow to serve from into to go containers

One of my favorite stops for lunch when I'm in the area. Large portion and can't hardly beat the price for the quality. Never lets me down. Unfortunately I'm not in the area often or I'd be eating here more regularly.

This is MY GO TO PLACE for late night eats. The carne asada tacos are always excellent. I have never had a bad meal here in all the years I been coming here for late night munchies.

This place is a hidden gem between towns on a frontage road. I'm a big fan of gas station taco shops and this is one of the greats.First of all, the price. Three tacos, rice and beans, all you can slurp delicious delicious salsas, onions and cliantro to load up my plate to my hearts content... and it was only 6.99$. Cannot beat that. The tacos were amazing - I had two chicken and one barbacoa, and while I think I favored the chicken, they were both fantastic.While I can't say I'd make the drive from Austin specifically for these tacos, I'd be thrilled to stop here for some cheap and tasty taco-ey goodness on a road tripe!

Man this new cook in the kitchen is cooking up greatness. It's been awhile since I've been here especially cause the last time I visited my tacos were dry and my beans were watery. But not this time it was a home run this time I had the barbacoa and it was full of flavor unlike any other time I've been here and the beans were actually thick and creamy I loved it so much I finished it too damn fast lol should have gotten an extra taco. The taste is still in my mouth I miss them already I'm glad this place is walking distance from me. I hope the food is this good all the time now cause at one point it really slacked off. It's back though and better than ever.

Everytime i come here it reminds me of back home, the meat is that real LA style tacos. Just go! Thank me later! Dont make a big line though, when i come here im hungry and dont wanna wait long.

We are visiting from Houston where we take pride in our taquerias and had doubts about finding adequate tacos up here. Well, color is surprised! We got a taco plate (no meat) and a chicken street taco. The portions are amazing, the flavor and freshness are the best, and the little salsa bar is better than many other gas station taco joints. another plus, the restrooms were immaculate. Worth a visit.
