This spot is great for families looking for a solid meal. The ribeyes were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My wife had the filet, which was decent but could've used more seasoning for the price. Brenda, our server, was fantastic--attentive even during a busy night--and the GM stopping by was a nice touch you don't see often. All the tables are well spaced as well whole keeping a fun, family atmosphere. My only gripe was the use of canola oil for the veggies, but overall, we had an enjoyable experience and are glad we tried it out.Cheers,MLA

Been several times, Chicken fried ribeye always on point!Wifey loves a grilled chicken dish on the kids menu. We always share the wedge salad, before dinner, always good. I've tried the chilli, it's good, but spicy. Absolutely can't do spicy. SP needs to bring a none spicy chilli to the menu. Other than that all good! Love the back in the day hot fresh school cafeteria rolls and butter.

Another amazing meal. Had my favorite Chicken Fried Ribeye. Even though there were at ton of cars in the parking lot we were said right away. Got everything quick, left full! Staff was very knowledgeable & was on top of everything. I will say the place is a little dark but the decor is nice.

It was date night with babe. She whisked me away to Sweetie Pies for a delectable steak dinner. We ordered the chicken tender kids meal & 10 oz ribeye dinner. Our waitress Angela was phenomenal She was hospitable, friendly, and on spot. Checking on us periodically to make sure everything was okay. Tenders: Crispy, lightly battered, and perfectly seasoned. Steak: Tender would be an understatement. Juicy & cooked superbly. The compound butter was an excellent addition to enhance the steaks flavor. Mac n Cheese: Creamy bechamel sauce with al dente noodles. Sauteed mushrooms: DeliciousRolls & butter: OMG... fluffy, soft, and airy.

This is overall a pretty nice restaurant and a good environment with good quality food. My last visit was less than stellar, but I will more than likely return. Some of the chairs are pretty uncomfortable. I had to switch out my chair for another because it was making my back hurt. I had the beef tips, but it was more like overdone beef crumbles. Instead of brown gravy, it had cream gravy on it, which didn't completely make sense. My meal just did not seem up to par for an upscale home cooking restaurant. My mom had ordered some queso with stringy squash in it. We couldn't make sense out of that either. They do seem to have a good customer service. I probably should have spoke up. We'll give them another try sometime.

This place is awesome. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. They sat us by the open fire which was on and with the decorations and music it made it so cozy and festive. They brought us some free bread rolls which were so fluffy and good. We had the ribeye meatballs to start which were so tender and served with mashed potato and gravy. We decided to split a ribeye steak for our main, which was cooked to perfection and came with two sides. We chose a loaded baked potato and a salad which had croutons that were so good and we had a bacon vinaigrette dressing which was different but really tasty. Our server was nice, attentive and knowledgeable and it was such a reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

We went here expecting something like a dive but it was actually a very cute restaurant. We were immediately greeted and sat next to the fireplace. We started with the chili and meatballs, both were great. The homemade rolls were fantastic. We split the Ribeye and it was delicious. The service was great. We will be back.

This was a special treat on our trip to Fort Worth! Steak cooked perfectly. Great wine selection, especially the angels and cowboys. Prompt service with great recommendations. The atmosphere was fun with quiet areas but also birthday parties going on. Reserved atmosphere, casual dress. We would definitely go here again next time in town!!
