Sweet Basil Thai Bistro

I ordered the sweet and sour lunch. First off we order online for pick up @ 11:05 am. Once the order was confirmed by email there was a 25 - 50 minute wait. Then there was another email saying the order was ready for pick up from 12:09-12:24. What does that even mean? I didn't want to pick up too soon and half to wait, but I didn't want my food to just be sitting around for 20+ minutes either. You would think we'd be notified WHEN IT WAS READY FOR PICKUP. I called after the second email and she said "oh, yes, your order ready now". What? Now for the food, the portion size was great and there was a surprise eggroll for free. The food, except for the chicken, was really flavorful. The chicken was really bad. It tasted and felt like fake meat. It was very flat and rubbery. My coworker had a shrimp meal and she thought the same about the shrimp.We will not be going back.

Ordered takeout with some friends. We were all very pleased with the quality of the food. The spice levels are well-labeled. A medium was perfect for me, and I usually gor for a 3 on a 5-point scale. I got the seafood green curry and I was impressed with the amount and quality of the seafood. Definitely a great place to remember for good thai food!

Sadly, almost no one there, but the food was good! I got the panang curry, though not the traditional dish I'm used to, it was really good. Their Thai tea was something else! If nothing else on their menu strikes your fancy, go for these!

My first time here! Super cute, pretty quiet little place! Very sweet waitress! The food was sooooooo good! All of it!!! Yumm! I had a lunch special!

I loved this place in college and I can't wait to take my kids and husbands here now. Yellow curry was consistently delicious with a coconut finish.

I ordered online for pickup, the estimate said 30-45 minutes but I went after about 20 mins and it was already ready. It would be nice to get an SMS text when it's ready.I tried the salad roll appetizers, I liked it! The sauce was good but I would have preferred a thicker peanut sauce myself.I also bought the yellow curry with tofu and brown rice. I hadn't tried this restaurant before so I wasn't sure how spicy the dishes were. I ordered with spice level hot which was fine. Good flavor and not spicy enough to make me sweat. The portion size was fine for me, I had enough leftovers for another meal.They did include plastic utensils but it would be nice if they can include napkins. I ended up eating in the car and spilled some of the curry and didn't have any napkins.It was a decent meal, not the best Thai curry I've had but I'm glad they have many vegetarian options on their menu. It was easy to order and they were courteous when I picked up my order.

Great food good service. The soup that came with my meal was wonderfully delicious. I may just order it next time

Poor excuse for Thai food. Shame on me for not paying attention to the reviews. I should have known I was in trouble when they didn't know what "Drunken Noodles" was (or don't offer it, wasn't quite sure). The chicken had an already cooked and reheated taste to it. The shrimp soup (Tom Yum) was pretty good but my "spicy chicken noodle" dish was not good at all. I explained my concern with the entree to the waitress/hostess but am waiting to post this until I see if they take any action or show any sign of concern. If you are reading this post, then you can guess the outcome :-) You might want to go to Pei Wei if you are in the area and have a craving for Asian cuisine.

good food, nice ambiance, nice people. I tried their panang curry with tofu and it was delicious! i'd recommend maybe some more white rice on the side. Small portion of rice compared to the curry but nonetheless delicious!
