The hype about Sushi Sake -- 100% true. This place is the spot, and when they open at 5:30 PM, it fills up fast!!Right outside the door, there's a stand with a QR code--scan it immediately to get on the waitlist. Trust me, the wait can be at least an hour and a half. Also keep in mind, when every table fills up at once, that means a flood of orders hitting the kitchen all at the same time.We were lucky enough to be seated right at 5:30 PM, but our food didn't arrive until 6:40 PM. No worries, though--we made excellent use of the time drinking three large sakés. (Highly recommend.)Watching six sushi chefs work their magic with precision and speed--it was amazing. And when our sushi finally arrived, it was worth the wait. The portions? Generous. The rolls? Huge. The flavor? Absolutely delicious! So, if you're planning a trip to Sushi Sake, bring patience, an appetite, and maybe a designated driver if you go the saké route.TIP: they offer a lovely BIRTHDAY desert, fried ice cream with a candle. Sweet!TIP: the parking lot is tiny. I don't know where's the extra parking is located. I only saw one handicap parking spot.

Arrived on a Friday night without reservations and was seated with less than an hour wait. Sitting at the sushi bar id always a great experience. The warm sake was delicious and smooth. The spider roll had fresh and flavorful avocado. My favorites where the different cuts of tuna sushi. It was all very fresh.

I had a positive experience here with a small celebration dinner for 2. Sushi was fresh with thick cuts of fish. Service was polite and prompt. The ambiance is very relaxing. This seems like it would still count as a hidden gem. Disclaimer: I eat a lot of sushi but I would not call myself a sensitive or picky sushi eater. I didn't personally notice my fish being thrown onto the rolls or being off tasting like one of the other reviewers did. I look forward to coming back to eat again at Sushi Sake.

The food is great, but the service is either good or bad. I noticed other tables who were sat after us were getting their food before us. The waiter told us our food was almost ready but ended up being over 30 mins later. Beautiful inside and decor though.

After a couple of down years of food quality and cleanliness of restaurants, sushi sake is back to being a standout restaurant. We have loved SS for years and we are so glad they have gotten it together. The service was fantastic and back to the friendly staff that was a huge upside.

Warning that there was already a waiting list before the restaurant opened. I visited on a Saturday evening so take into mind how busy the restaurant can be.My experience at Sushi Sake was enjoyable! I enjoyed all the foods my family and I ordered - koika kara age (fried squid), shrimp tempura udon, sushi & sashimi combo, sushi a combo, and volcano sushi à la carte. Everything tasted delicious, but the volcano sushi was very rich and heavy from the mayo that it was difficult to taste the actual fish.Service was great! The server was polite and patient, answered our many questions, and kind. Also, the interior looks pretty cool!Overall, it was a good experience. Food was mid-good, but be aware of how long you may have to wait if you choose to visit on a weekend.

Last night I ordered a togo order from Sushi Sake, hoping to make a reprieve of the mishaps from my previous night of Sushi Disaster!Thank You Sushi Sake!It turns out it now is so much easier to order online. And let me tell you it was less expensive, with way better quality, than that other Fast Food Sushi Restaurant I ordered from on Friday, August 30th. For example a pair of sushi tuna at the other establishment was $10, and Sushi Sake was $8, and much better quality!Where my Hubby will enjoy sushi with me, it's not his favorite. So when he goes on his annual camping trip with my 2 boys, I always treat myself to a night of sushi. And I don't enjoy eating alone in a restaurant, I usually get it to go and enjoy my sushi at home with a glass of wine and my Pups. Sushi Sake, thanks for a tasty date night with my favorite dinner companions, Georgia & Grady! oxo
