This place is so lovely. The interior is really cute and the food and service is great but the important thing here is you must not go during busy times like peak dinner time on any given night and definitely not during the weekend unless you have a lot of time to kill and/or you have the patience of a saint. Or now since we got that out of the way here are some great things about this place. It's AYCE but you don't have to get up out of your seat. They bring all the food to you! The food is exceptional, comparable to a regular sit down sushi place. A fountain drink is included in the price and it's really not that expensive at all for an AYCE sushi buffet - $21.95 for lunch $34.95 for dinner. The sashimi quality was outlandish and to my surprise I never once got a scale or bone in my fish and neither did anyone else in my party. Their cold foods were fresh, hot foods were piping hot, and their rice for their sushi and rolls had really good consistency and texture. I highly recommend this place but like I said don't come during peak times! They don't close between lunch and dinner but their lunch price stops at 2:30pm and dinner price kicks in.

We recently visited Sushi Masa to try their all-you-can-eat option, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The restaurant itself is pretty nice, with a clean and comfortable atmosphere. I'd recommend making reservations because it tends to get busy.We were initially skeptical since our past experiences with all-you-can-eat sushi places haven't been great. However, Sushi Masa was different. There's no buffet line with pre-made items sitting out. Instead, they give you a menu, and you can order as much as you like, round after round. There's no limit, though they do ask that you avoid wasting food, as leftover items are charged at à la carte prices. This wasn't an issue for us.Since you're ordering directly from the menu, everything is freshly prepared. We never felt like any dish had been sitting out or was being reused, which made a noticeable difference in quality. We paced ourselves, ordering small portions each round until we were full. The kids enjoyed it too, even trying sashimi for the first time. The quality of the food was much better than expected! Fresh, flavorful, and well-presented.When we ordered, the staff didn't flinch or make us feel like we were overdoing it. Service was decent, they cleared plates quickly, and we never felt rushed.If you go with the buffet, you get free refills on regular drinks or one alcoholic beverage. We opted for the hot sake, which was a nice touch. Overall, Sushi Masa exceeded our expectations, and we'd definitely go back.

Lunch AYCE special is sooo worth! Sushi is good quality, although some of the rolls flavors were a bit questionable so we mostly stuck to nigiri. Service was okay... I've never been to a sushi place where you have to ask for wasabi and ginger, and the sushi sometimes took a while to come out even though it was pretty empty, but besides that I would be back again!

This is the best sushi deal in town for $34.99 AYCE (All You Can Eat) for dinner! Their menu is massive!! Not only do they have sushi rolls, handrolls, nigiri and sashimi, they also have plenty of apps to choose from like dumplings and egg rolls etc but then you can also choose form the hibachi menu to get teriyaki chicken with noodles or fried rice and then end it off with some dessert like green tea ice cream or fried Oreos! Legit spot!This place gets busy on weekends so expect a wait if you're not on the wait list already. The service honestly depends on the server you get but for the most part, they're all super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They give great recs too! The food comes out fairly quickly as the dishes get made fresh! Apps first then sushi rolls which are followed by dessert. Oh and you get a free drink with refills too! This has become my new fav sushi spot in Plano! I get it's not super premium sushi like uchi, but I'd rate it closer to edoku or densetsu level imo. For this price, they wow me each time! Oh and kids are $10 AYCE I believe - which is amazing!Def come here with friends and family- there's something for everyone to love! Oh and love the decor they have for each season super cute! Can't wait to be back!

The lunch special is definitely a good deal that I would recommend to take advantage of.I've eaten at Sushi Masa with my wife a few times at this point, and each time we've been able to satisfy our sushi cravings with the lunch special they offer here. Its started becoming our go-to for sushi.We primarily go for the nigiris - sushi and eel, and we like how they prepare fish to rice ratio where its not too much rice per piece. The fish has been fresh each time, and they also have rolls for those who prefer that style. I personally also like ordering miso soup and seaweed salad to cleanse my palate between rounds of sushi. The interior seems relatively new and updated. Would definitely recommend checking this spot out!

Speechless! The food was amazing!! The variety and choices are almost overwhelming, I could've ate for hours. Everything was so fresh and the service was impeccable we always had new plates coming to the table. I can't wait to go back!!! Everyone was so friendly and the location was so clean!

Best AYCE sushi I've had in a while Good rice ratio. Flavors on point. $21.95 for lunch is such a good deal. I would pay that much and more going to any normal sushi restaurant The rolls tasted like the speciality rolls you would get at any normal sushi restaurant in Dallas Shaggy dog is my absolute favorite roll and they have that here. All the rolls we tried were great. Tempura was not bad. The fried rice reminded me of hibachi rice My friends got the unagi and salmon nigiri, which were solid they said Service was good and fast. Jaden was our server but all the servers were quick to clear plates, bring food, bring drinksDefinitely check this place out.

They have high wooden booth seating/dividers between tables which gives nice privacy while eating. They also have bar seating. My family loves sushi, but going with 4 people, including 2 teenage boys, to an a la carte place quickly becomes unaffordable. So what do you do? You find a good AYCE place, that's what.Now that's easier said than done, but with Sushi Masa, we found one.First, this isn't a buffet. Everything is made fresh when you order it, which greatly improves freshness, which is vital for good sushi. Good ingredients are important, too, which it seems they use.The sashimi was definitely the best AYCE we've had. The salmon, scallops, and yellowtail were delicious!The warm food was good, too. From the teriyaki steak to the katsu chicken and the tempura (shrimp, mushrooms, sweet potatoes), it was all tasty.Leave some room for the fried cheesecake, though, because it was YUMMY!The first drink or unlimited sodas are included in the price, too. So, for $35 per person for dinner, it's a pretty good price.Finally, staff was nice and attentive. We never really ran out of food or drink, so we had an all-around excellent experience.
